“Rachel is who I go to when I need a recommendation on where to go, what to do, and she not only gives me the best ideas on where to go, super thoughtful advice on things that make sense to do for my family or who I'm travelling with, but she also is conscious of the budget I'm working with. She's planned a lot for me, but two that stick out are a cruise from Miami to the Florida Keys-- she got me a crazy deal and I found a love for the random chickens that roam around the Keys. It was an adventure I didn't even realize I wanted! I came back from the trip refreshed, which as a working mom is really a big relief. The other was in Florence, Italy. She found the best Airbnb for me to stay in, that was close to everything, but also quiet inside with enough room for all of my friends I was traveling with. She found me great spots to try to eat, ideas for places that would be good to wander around, and a museum I hadn't heard of, where we saw Galileo's finger. To top it off, she gave recommendations for hikes and other outdoor adventures to help balance out our trip. I will never go to anyone else except Rachel. “I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding without Evelyn and the Love & Laughter Weddings team. We live out of state and got married at my family’s estate in Carmel by the Sea, so from the beginning I knew we needed a wedding planner. We worked with Evelyn for about a year and a half and somehow every detail turned out even better than my pinterest dreams. Evelyn is truly a rockstar!! She is organized, kind, patient, and has this incredibly calming presence that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay, even when your anxiety has you convinced it is not. She was there for every planning call, every random question, and every panic email I sent after having some ridiculous wedding related dream in the middle of the night. Nothing ever made her seem overwhelmed. She would just calmly talk me through it, come up with a solution, and suddenly whatever I was stressing about didn't feel like a big deal anymore. We also used their in house design services, officiant, and live music and I cannot recommend them enough! Having so much of the wedding managed under one roof made planning SO easy and everything was incredibly cohesive. At some point during planning Evelyn told me that the goal for wedding day was “no thoughts, just vibes” and that became our running joke, but she was completely serious lol. When the wedding weekend finally came, I genuinely turned my brain off. I wasn't checking the time or worrying about setup or wondering what was supposed to happen next. For the first time in a year and a half, I wasn't thinking about the wedding, I was just IN it and enjoying it because I knew Evelyn had everything covered. Hiring Love & Laughter was hands down one of the best decisions we made. “When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. When our venue unexpectedly canceled on us just two months before the wedding, we were completely overwhelmed. She immediately went into action mode, pivoted seamlessly, and helped us secure a new plan without missing a beat. What could have been a disaster turned into just another hurdle she expertly handled. We were based in San Francisco, and she is based in the greater Seattle area — and distance was never an issue. She scheduled calls whenever we needed, reached out to vendors, and followed up consistently to keep everyone aligned. She even flew down to SF twice during the planning process and then arrived early the week of the wedding to make sure everything was perfectly in place. “My wife, Lindsey, and I were blown away by Tabria and her assistant Rebecca! Tabria was our day-of coordinator, and made everything go so smoothly the entire time. It was the most beautiful, perfect day! No wedding is completely perfect, and we absolutely had our little mistakes here and there, to no fault of our own–just misplacing items and not being able to find certain ceremony items. Tabria was there for us 110% and still made sure everything went right! Somehow our glassware for the traditional “breaking of the glass” went missing, and she was able to find replacement glassware for us to use! I was having a small issue with the venue the morning of–our sound equipment had not been provided yet, and I thought that it was arriving a little later than expected, even though I was told it would be there at the time of set up. When it was getting closer and closer to the ceremony, and there was still no sound equipment, I asked for Tabria’s help. I was getting really stressed out and it was eating into my getting ready time. She was so, so helpful, and even gave me advice on how to approach talking to the venue manager about it once she arrived on site. I so appreciate her help–without it, I fear I would have completely lost my cool. I was also trying to help folks decorate and let them know where things go, but with the stress of this situation, I was really overwhelmed. She told me not to worry about things, took the reins, and everything was absolutely gorgeous when we walked out. One of my groomsmen had a terrible rip in his pants right before the ceremony started. We have no idea how it happened, but it was really bad. Thankfully, his suit jacket covered it for the ceremony, but he was obviously horrified and wanted to be able to take his jacket off. We later learned that Tabria sent her assistant, Rebecca, out on a mission to get him a new pair of pants! Our wedding venue was tucked away in Wine Country, in Newberg, and she had to drive at least 20-30 mins into town to find something for him, in his size, in the correct color. She came back with a new pair of pants and my groomsman was amazed and relieved! All in all, the schedule of events worked out exactly as we had planned it, and she was so lovely to work with. We could not have asked for a better coordinator! We cannot recommend Tabria enough! You can truly trust her!”
