“I agree with the hundreds of 5-star reviews of Second Song, but I wanted to specifically give a shout out to DJ Tyler O! While Second Song made the process leading up to the wedding easy and seamless (and the cold sparklers were a hit), DJ Tyler did an amazing job at my wedding and absolutely CRUSHED the dance floor. My husband and I have differing music tastes, but DJ Tyler was able to find common ground and played banger after banger that kept all of our guests on the dance floor till the very end. As someone who goes to music festivals often, I was impressed by his mixing skills and appreciated that there was never an abrupt transition between songs. He also did an amazing job MC’ing and executed all of our requests for playing specific songs at certain times and starting songs in the middle. I don’t think you can go wrong with any DJ’s with Second Song, but I do highly recommend picking DJ Tyler O!”

“Booking with Black Tie Entertainment was the best choice we could have made. Our initial call with Matt Johnson to see what services were provided was an extremely thorough and engaging. My husband and I felt so comfortable with the services he recommended and appreciated the time he took to talk through typical timeline for DJs and coordinators leading up to the big day. We booked a DJ and month of coordinator and were wow’d. Our DJ, Chris Laing, was extremely professional in the way he led our introductory and timeline calls. Our coordinator Becca Manning was very kind on our introduction call. With half of our family being Latino, it took some time to find the right fit in the area. We wanted a good mix where the entire room could have fun and feel included. “We were lucky enough to have DJ Ansar as our wedding DJ this past weekend, and he exceeded all expectations! I was tasked with handling the music, and initially, I gave him very little to work with—just that we liked “everything we grew up with.” Despite my vague direction, Ansar crafted the perfect vibe, playing songs that matched the energy of each moment. You could throw him something as abstract as “Malibu sunset,” and he would still nail it. Throughout the entire planning process, Ansar was incredibly easy to work with. He was always willing to jump on a call, bringing great energy and professionalism every step of the way. His MC skills are top-tier, and we had so many guests throughout the night complimenting his music selections, saying he was absolutely killing it. He has an amazing MC voice and tone, and his energy behind the mic really elevated the entire night. “Nicky Avalo Studios is AMAZING. DJ Redd kept the dance floor filled all night long. I was one of the crazy brides who had a veryyyyy long must play list and he did a great job at playing the songs that kept people singing & dancing. From the very start, it was such an easy process!! Nicky was so so helpful. I filled out the document and everything I asked for was done. Before the wedding, I had actual nightmares about who would DJ my wedding (no idea why… just mustve been what I was most nervous for?! LOL) and WOW those nightmares were all wrong. DJ Redd is the best & even joined us on the dance floor! Seriously I cant say enough good things. I told Nicky about the nightmares I had & he went above & beyond & showed up to our wedding to say hey which just made it even more special. THANK YOU Nicky Avalo Studios for being everything we asked for & more. Attached pics of me & then DJ Redd doing the splits LOL”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“Pulse was amazing! The playlist was perfection and our guests were on the dance floor all night. My husband and I had the absolute best time and the sparklers were the perfect touch to our night! “Chime entertainment is an all around amazing vendor for DJ/MCEE, Photo booth, and videography services. Our day was amazing thanks to them! The Photo Booth added such a fun touch to the evening and was definitely a huge hit with all the funny props! It also left us with a full digital album of all of our guests having the time of their lives and was immediately available for us to look at (which came in handy while we waited for our wedding photos to come back). Everyone wont stop talking about how fun/perfect our wedding was and these guys were definitely the reason. Adam D, our main contact, was always quick to respond and always available when it came to answering our questions. Our DJ, George, was incredible, not only keeping the energy high all night but also stepping in to help coordinate the evening. He read the room perfectly, checked in with us throughout, and adapted seamlessly to any changes. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and MC. Our videographer, Leeland, went above and beyond to capture our day beautifully. He brought such fun energy while also knowing when to step back and let private moments unfold naturally. “The short version of this review: if you want the music at your wedding to be awesome and exactly what YOU love to hear, and without cheesey emcee vibes, hire Marcus! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

“When my husband and I started our wedding planning journey, we wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play music form both my culture (Haitian) and my husbands (Puerto Rican). During my search, his business popped up on IG. I went through his IG profile and knew he was the one I wanted. I sent his profile to my husband and he sold. What also sold us was all the extra services he had! Everything all in one place. In all I booked the sparklers, smoke machine, 360 Photo Booth, an Emcee, and gobo lights. My first dance, OMG. Guests are sending me videos they took. Being in the experience was one thing. Watching the videos, I couldn’t stop crying at how beautiful it turned out. The smoke machine and sparklers just brought everything together. Everyone RAVED about the 360 booth. And the MUSIC. We didnt stop moving all night. I got so many phone calls that week about how great the music was, how sore people were from dancing all night lol. We had a diverse group of people and he was able to reach everyone. Soooo glad IG was listening lol. Thank you so much DJ Jeanyo!”

Before our wedding day, Marlon was super attentive, responsive, and overall fun to work with. He really went out of his way to ensure our entire day went exactly as we envisioned. The energy of the live band combined with the well-mixed playlist certainly kept people entertained the whole party, and the dance floor stayed packed the entire night.
