“My daughter and I hired Chloe Deal to be our onsite day-of wedding planner and she was excellent before, during and after the big day! Pre-wedding, we had two zoom meetings to review what the plans were and what she would be doing to oversee it all. Chloe's communication assured us all the details would be completely taken care of on wedding day. The day of the wedding, we had a big surprise. An unexpected storm whipped up just as we were about to begin the outdoor ceremony. Chloe and her assistant quickly rallied to make last minute adjustments moving tables and displays under the reception tent, coordinating with the vendors on the change of plans and remained calm throughout it all. After a bit of insanity as our guests ran from the outdoor ceremony into the tent, Chloe and her assistant went into overdrive drying off chairs and getting them moved into the reception area which was a huge undertaking. The groomsmen were supposed to help but they were the only ones not under umbrellas and were absolutely soaked. Chloe easily helped guests find their seats and kept us all on schedule with the reception events of introductions, dances, happy hour, dinner, cake cutting, send off photos etc. Post wedding, we had to be all cleaned up by 9am the next day so the night of the wedding, Chloe and her assistant moved heavy tree log displays back to the woods, put everything that we needed to save into our cars or the locked space until we could pick it up the next day. Chloe's performance as our wedding planner was truly impressive as she thought of every detail and despite the unexpected weather, my daughter and son-in-law had a truly magical day complete with double rainbows! I would highly recommend her services to any bride and groom to-be!”

Listen—I am a project manager by profession—super organized, type A control freak, very particular—so for me to hand over the most important day of my life to someone else seemed unimaginable. But from my first meeting with Brittney, I felt nothing but utter confidence in her abilities and she definitely proved me right! I hired Brittney for day-of coordination about 2-3 months out from my wedding which took place March 2025. Brittney is an EXPERT event planner who was able to give me so much guidance even though I was so far into wedding planning. She is also EXTREMELY thorough—“day-of” coordination doesn’t just mean you show up on the day of the wedding and Brittney understands that. She put in the necessary prep work, reviewing vendor contracts, creating a detailed day of timeline, coordinating with vendors, and leading the rehearsal. Working with Brittney in the weeks leading up to the wedding and in particular at the rehearsal, I was able to observe the intentionality with which she builds relationships with people. On the wedding day, Brittney was a literal SUPERHERO. She comes equipped with walkie talkies and the most thorough emergency kit I’ve ever seen! There were things that went wrong throughout the day (that’s inevitable) but Brittney shielded me from so much of that by making executive decisions and coming up with solutions on the fly, which allowed me to just enjoy my day. Cold sparks tripped the power in the reception hall—Brittney handled it. Wind kept blowing over the arch as they were trying to decorate—Brittney handled it. By the end of the night, I didn’t want to deal with the train on my reception dress—Brittney handled it (the woman literally stitched a bustle for me lol). I could go on and on forever about how amazing this woman is. My family, the vendors, and even random guests commented on what an incredible job she did. “Jenny, aka Opal Avenue Events, was a dream to work with! I reached out very early in the wedding-planning process to ask if she’d be available to be our day-of-coordinator for our non-traditional wedding, and I am so glad I did. “Where to begin? Ok Amy and her exceptional team were the BEST DECISION my now husband and I made! Our journey began meeting Amy at an LGBT Wedding Expo because neither one of us have been to a gay wedding or knew anything about weddings, especially non-traditional weddings. Amy was so sweet, kind, and professional and reassuring with all of my questions. I interviewed 5 different wedding planners and chose Amy when I noticed the price was right and she offered so much help and assistance with everything a newlywed would need help with. Let me tell you, she lied about nothing to this date! Leading up to the wedding, 7 months until the big day, our all-inclusive venue went out of business abruptly! We had to start from the BEGINNING! I’ll never forget calling Amy panicking and feeling lost, angry, sad, mad, confused, defeated, etc. She immediately reassured me that everything would work out and she’d help us with everything. We had only a partial package with her and we were asking for services from a full package, and she reminded me that this was an emergency that we did not ask for. Amy and Abby sent over recommendations for venues, caterers, DJ’s, Cake, Photographers, Videographers, etc. and March 2026 I was one busy guy but I ran contracts through Amy and her team and they reviewed each one and gave the best advice possible without saying “You need to go with them” or just giving one option. Overall, almost everyone we went with was an option from Amy and her team based off what we wanted. Wedding Day! The fun part, our wedding was PERFECT! When I say we were not allowed to be on our phones and not a single worry in the world occurred, nothing bad was allowed to reach us at all. We had a point of contact (someone from our wedding party) to answer all questions and check on us at the hotel during hair and make-up. Amy and her team (Mandy and Emma) made the flow of our wedding work perfectly! Our officiant missed our vows section and Amy strategically was able to help fit our vows into the reception which seemed to have worked even better. Amy and her team truly were there for us every second of the wedding and most importantly gave us a second to breathe after the ceremony. Long story short, EVERYONE should have a wedding planner, but not just a wedding planner, Amy Frances wedding planning! Our day could not have been as perfect as it was without her. She has become our friend at this point. She is organized, she is a problem solver, she is understanding, she is everything when it comes to celebrating love! Besides my husband and I finding each other, we are so thankful we found Amy for our wedding!”

“*Please prepare for a long novel of praise and gratitude for seriously one of the best and most IMPORTANT vendors in the wedding game** From start to finish working with Johanna and the JLM Events team was undoubtedly the best decision we made for our wedding. Full transparency - I was hesitant to book a coordinator due to budget being the MAIN factor for our wedding and frankly I didn’t think we could spare the expense. After finding out from our venue that it was a requirement to have a coordinator (turned absolute GODSEND) I found Johanna last June (2025) and from start to finish have been absolutely FLOORED by her dedication, insight, and complete understanding of our needs and wants for the most special day of our lives. Let me just tell you- Johanna will go ABOVE AND BEYOND for you and then some. I was so thankful to have her as an advocate during this process. As someone who considers herself very “Type A” I had no idea how much of a crucial necessity having someone like Johanna would be during this process. The vendor selection is overwhelming to say the least but getting into the nitty gritty of contracts, Plan B scenarios, and just overall comprehension of this business is not something that is talked about enough in this industry. With the guidance and wisdom of Johanna, I know for a fact our experience was as seamless as it was because of her knowledge and diligence. She checked in with me routinely leading up to our wedding year and then on a weekly/daily basis once our wedding year hit. Before booking the remainder of our vendors (which were a lot LOL), I would make sure to send her the contracts I received to make sure everything looked okay and with her guidance we were able to avoid some MAJOR possible disasters with some really important vendors (talking Catering & Glam…pretty important :) ). My whole point is this- you have no idea what you’re looking at or even the questions to ask, even if you think you do, you need someone like Johanna and her team as allies. We avoided these possible disasters because we had Johanna. And even better, once confirming that it wasn’t in our best interest to book said vendor(s), Johanna would be right there with other options for us that were highly recommended and most important- in our budget. I never once felt pressured or like that I wasn't heard at all with Johanna during this process. She received and heard every ounce of my wants and intentions for this day and for that, I am indebted to her. Our wedding day was such a sacred day and because of the team (led by Johanna ) we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. Our main focus was just being present with each other and savoring every second- that’s how it should be! BOOK JLM DESIGN AND EVENTS, trust me it’ll be the best thing you do :)”
