We were assured that the music we wanted to play would be played, that they had sound/mics/audio/lights all under control, and that Gemma would dance the night away with us. We opted to do the uplighting package, and that was worth every penny too. The whole Luv'dup team was so communicative and professional throughout the entire planning process. We wanted a fun, upbeat feeling for cocktail hour and dinner, and a dance floor that was packed the whole night. Gemma absolutely delivered both, and she read the room SO perfectly to keep playing songs that the crowd would love dancing and singing to. I know I'm biased, but I truly don't think I have never seen a dance floor so crowded and happy at a wedding. We have Gemma and Luv'dup to thank for curating the perfect, joyful party. “If we could give DJ Chamber Guy more than five stars, we would. He was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the beginning of the planning process through the last song of the night, Kyle was INSANELY AMAZING. Working with him leading up to the wedding was fun and easy. He uses an app called VIBO, which made the planning process simple. We could add all of our song choices, select the exact versions we wanted, record important details, and add songs to our playlist from our phones whenever inspiration struck. It was incredibly convenient and made communicating what we wanted so easy. Kyle also handled the lighting for our ceremony space, and it looked incredible. At one point we got nervous that we hadn’t ordered enough lighting, and Kyle and his team were able to easily add additional lighting to our package for a very reasonable cost. The extra lighting they recommended was PERFECT and made such a difference. He also provided sound for our outdoor ceremony, which was far away from the reception space. He had everything needed to make that work flawlessly, and we didn’t experience a single glitch or hiccup. He made sure our ceremony exit was perfectly timed and synced with our song choice, our reception introductions were AMAZING and perfectly timed, and he edited our first dance and parent dance songs down to the absolute perfect moments of each song. Every transition felt intentional and seamless. Kyle didn’t just DJ our wedding, he guided our guests through the entire day. He knew exactly when to make an announcement, how to keep things moving, and how to create the right energy without ever taking over the moment. Then we got to the reception and saw his setup. HOLY. SH*T. It looked like we had hired a real-life club DJ. The turntables, sound system, equipment, the entire setup was SO impressive. Then we noticed the digital display he had customized specifically for our wedding with our Harry Potter theme incorporated into it. It was such a thoughtful, personal surprise and blew us away. THEN came the dancing. Our guests were simply not worthy of the talent Kyle brought to that dance floor. He played banger after banger all night! Not just the songs we requested, but incredible mixes that he had created himself. At one point, he dropped a mix featuring the Bill Nye the Science Guy theme song, and suddenly every millennial in the room was transported back in time. People were jumping, fist-pumping, and screaming “BILL! BILL! BILL!” Then he pulled out a Law & Order: SVU theme song mix and the entire room absolutely LOST IT. We HAVE to mention the Harry Potter dubstep mix he made. We went completely NUTS for it. It was everything we could have wanted for our Harry Potter wedding and even better than we imagined. This was the third wedding in our family this year, and Kyle was EASILY the best DJ. His talent, professionalism, creativity, communication, attention to detail, and ability to read a room are on another level. We cannot thank Kyle and his team enough for making our wedding so much fun and giving us a night we will never forget. If you’re getting married and considering DJ Chamber Guy, BOOK HIM. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). “If I could give The Barnstorm Band more than five stars, I would! They performed at our wedding on June 14 at The Roundhouse in Beacon, NY, and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. “DJ Steff was fantastic — we got compliments from guests of all ages all night. He was responsive, organized, and flexible; when we decided last-minute to skip the shoe game due to golden hour timing, he adapted without any fuss. The ability to submit must-play, play-if-possible, play-if-requested, and do-not-play lists separately was a great touch, along with the complimentary dance floor lighting and photo booth. Our guests raved about what a great DJ he was too. One of them even said “I want to get married again just so I can hire your DJ”. Highly recommend!”

“Emmet and Naomi were wonderful! They traveled to play at our wedding at Jeffers Hill Farm in Pike, NH in September 2025. They were wonderful to deal with from the initial inquiry to post wedding follow-up. They were very easy to communicate with initially and have a great repertoire of songs to choose from! They even learned some new songs that we requested for recessional/processional etc. They played a variety of beautiful songs during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were extremely professional and wonderfully talented artists. All of our guests commented on how enjoyable they were to listen to while mingling during cocktail hour. I would highly recommend having them play at your wedding!”
