·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
Summit, NY
  • Up to 100 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $14,000

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. We host one wedding at a time, and every booking is a full-weekend buyout. The property is yours Friday through Sunday, so the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and a slow Sunday morning by the water all happen in one place. No shared grounds, no six-hour window that rushes you through your own wedding. Couples marry in the meadow, at the pond, or at the arch depending on the season and the light. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day. Send your date and guest count and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

  • Has a dance floor for celebration
  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Provides setup and cleanup

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible

“From our first conversation with the team at Twelve Ponds, we knew we had found our venue. They were quick to respond to every email and call, which made the planning process so smooth. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous with clean lines and a bright atmosphere that gave us the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The management team went out of their way to help us with details on the day, making sure everything ran like clockwork. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the venue, and honestly, we felt the pricing was fair for the quality and care we received. We're so grateful to Twelve Ponds for making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.”

“If we could shout our recommendation of The Maples Estate and Katie from the rooftops, we would. Hopefully this review is the next best thing. Choosing The Maples Estate was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding, and we can say with complete confidence that that is because of Katie and Louis. They are genuinely two of the loveliest, kindest, most thoughtful people on the planet, and from the very beginning, we knew we were in the best possible hands. Our very first conversation with Katie was a two-hour call where we told her all about ourselves, our relationship, and the wedding we were dreaming of. She listened to everything, and the design deck she created afterward could not have felt more authentically us. Somehow, the wedding we had spent an entire year fantasizing about came out exactly as we had pictured it - which feels impossible to say even now. Katie and her team were so willing to make our wildest ideas happen, from having a coffee hour instead of a traditional cocktail hour to doing a T-shirt toss instead of a bouquet toss. No idea felt too unusual and no challenge felt too big. And somehow, despite planning a wedding for an entire year, we were never stressed. Not once. All year long, friends and family would ask us how stressful wedding planning was, and we genuinely had no idea what they were talking about because we were having so much fun. Even on the wedding weekend, when it rained, we were not worried because we knew Katie had everything handled. The estate and grounds themselves are breathtaking. Every inch of The Maples feels intentional, beautiful, and somehow perfectly imperfect in the most magical way. But what made it truly priceless for us was being able to spend Thursday through Sunday there and let our wedding become an entire weekend rather than just a single day. It was worth every penny and then some. We got to see both sides of our parents sitting together in the living room late Thursday night, just chatting. We watched our brothers and bridal party jump into the pool Friday night because nobody was watching the clock or worrying about where they had to be next. We got to wake up together, spend our days together, celebrate together, and simply exist in the same beautiful place with the people we love. Those completely unplanned moments ended up being some of our favorite memories of the entire wedding weekend, and they are something you simply cannot get from a traditional one-day wedding venue. The rain is actually one of the moments we will remember forever. We had practiced our rehearsal in multiple locations in case of bad weather, but Katie knew how much we had dreamed of having it under the trees. Rather than automatically moving us into the pavilion, she encouraged us morning of to have it outside and told us how beautiful it would be even in the rain. And then, as if The Maples had a little magic of its own, the clouds literally parted and the sun came out as we walked down the aisle. It was unbelievable. The estate gave us the incredible privilege of having our families and some of our bridal party stay with us for the weekend. Being able to wake up, spend the day, get married, and then end the night with all of our friends piled into the bunk room is something we will treasure forever. In fact, we would move into The Maples permanently if Katie and Louis would let us. (Please!)”

“We booked this venue last year & they have been amazing from start to finish. Jennifer worked well with payment plans. “The Inn at West Settlement was the perfect place for our wedding. Photos can’t even begin to capture the magic of this place. There are flowers EVERYWHERE, the mountains and trees are stunning, and the barn has such a unique charm. Kim is lovely and worked with us very well to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. The rest of the team at The Inn at West Settlement is also AMAZING. We loved working with them and just getting to know them as people. One thing to note is that communication with many of the Catskills vendors we worked with is much easier through phone calls rather than email! That was a learning curve for us - as Gen Z girls, we’re so used to doing almost all our communication via email or text. We used Kim’s recommended vendors for everything and loved every one of them. The food by Stacy was absolutely incredible, dessert (also by Stacy) was beautiful and delicious, our DJ Max (recommended by Kim) was perfect and so easy to work with, the bartending team was so fun and on top of everything, and our photographer Liz who we found through Kim’s recommendation was amazing. One of our favorite things about the weekend was getting to help make the magic happen on Friday. We all had so much fun going through the cutting garden & picking flowers for the bouquets, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. They have so many great decor items (tea light holders, frames, window panes & chalkboards for signage) in their prop room - definitely a major perk of the venue & makes for a fun day-before selecting and setting up your decor! I can’t say enough about how much we loved getting married at The Inn at West Settlement. There is something magical about this place and we are so grateful that we got to celebrate our wedding there. I truly cannot recommend this place enough!”

“We are absolutely at a loss for words to describe how incredible our wedding at Plattekill Mountain was. From the moment we pulled up to the venue, we knew this place was something truly special. The breathtaking scenery alone sets the stage for a magical day, but what really makes Plattekill stand out is the incredible team behind it. Danielle, Autumn, Shannon, Bob, and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This venue is gorgeous, but it’s the staff that truly makes it shine. They are so well-polished, so professional, and yet so warm and caring at the same time. It’s clear that they’re not just in the wedding business—they’re creating memories and crafting perfect experiences with love and intention. From day one, they made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every little detail was handled with such care, and every suggestion they gave us made our day that much more magical. There is something undeniably special happening at Plattekill Mountain, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding there. Our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we agree—it was the best weekend of our lives. If you're browsing venues and Plattekill has caught your eye, stop looking. This is the strongest recommendation I will ever give. Not only will you have no regrets, but it will be the most beautiful, joyful, and unforgettable day of your life. We will be forever grateful for the memories we made at Plattekill Mountain and can’t wait to return to relive the magic for years to come.”

“My fiancé and I are getting married at Marshall Mountain Resort on 09/19/26. Our story with MMR started when the original venue we had booked unexpectedly fell through. I attended a family member’s wedding at this venue 10 years ago when it was still branded as MKJ Farms. Having knowledge of the venue, and with my dream and desire to get married at a rustic barn venue, I reached out to Stephanie inquiring about availability and she has been nothing short of amazing during this entire process so far. She has promptly answered every text/phone call. She fit us in for a tour right away. It’s plain to see that she has her whole heart into what she does. The entire property is impeccable. “River Stone Manor was absolutely incredible for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The grounds were in beautiful condition, and the updated aesthetic created such a gorgeous setting for our celebration. We were married in front of the fireplace, which made for the most warm and romantic backdrop. Ashley Dariano was truly amazing to work with. She is kind, responsive, and exceptionally organized. She helped bring so many of our ideas to life and ensured everything stayed on track throughout the planning process and on the big day. We did not have a day-of planner, and our wedding still went off without a hitch, which is a huge testament to Ashley and her team. The food was spectacular, and our guests are still talking about it. The Dijon chicken was a personal favorite, and we are so glad we added the late-night French fry station. It was such a hit. We would highly recommend River Stone Manor to any couple looking for a beautiful venue, seamless execution, and an unforgettable experience”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Windham Manor in the fall! The property is stunning, and the views are gorgeous, especially in the early autumn. We got married in the Enchanted Forest, had cocktail hour on the lawn, and our reception in the barn. Everything flowed seamlessly and with 110 guests, the layout was perfect. Although Windham is a small town, it’s easy for guests to find places to stay and things to explore. We did our rehearsal dinner in town and hosted our Sunday brunch at the on-site house. Susan and Barry were wonderful, checking in with us and giving us time to settle in on Thursday. They also offered a variety of decor items such as candles, vases, runners, etc., which made setting up our reception easy and stress-free. We stayed with our wedding party at the house onsite and this really helped make our weekend extra special. We loved having our wedding party with us to hang out and catch up, and to facilitate our after party. Our house manager, Karen, was incredible. She was extremely thoughtful, attentive, and always anticipating what we needed. She checked in throughout the day with even small things like water, coffee, or food. She helped the weekend feel calm and effortless. From the moment we first visited, we knew Windham Manor was our number one choice and it did not disappoint!”

“Melanie, the Stonewall Estate team, and the venue itself were an absolute DREAM. We first toured Stonewall in the middle of January, and even covered in snow, we immediately knew there was something special about this place. Coming back to get married in peak fall foliage on 9/26 was exactly how we had pictured it. We were the first of our friend group to get married, so we didn’t have much precedent for how any of this was supposed to work. From the beginning, Melanie made the entire process feel seamless. She was incredibly communicative and gave us so much guidance along the way, from vendor and local recommendations to all the little pro tips you don’t even know you need. We trusted her taste and point of view 100%, and whenever we needed advice, she was the first person we wanted to ask. Throughout planning, she kept us on track, led an incredibly helpful 45-day walkthrough, helped build out our timeline, lineup and floor plan, and made sure all of our vendors had everything they needed heading into the weekend. Stonewall also has an amazing decor catalog with so much already available on-site, which made bringing our vision together so easy. When the weekend arrived, Melanie led our rehearsal beautifully, and she and her team were such a calm, supportive presence throughout the wedding day. If there were any issues happening behind the scenes, we certainly didn’t know about them because her team was always one step ahead. We had to make the call to move our ceremony indoors because of possible rain, and they made it PERFECT. We genuinely would not have changed a thing. They then completely transformed the space for the reception, to the point that guests told us they didn’t even realize they were sitting in the same room! And the property itself... let me tell you there truly wasn’t a bad view anywhere. Our guests could not stop talking about the scenery and how beautiful and unique the venue was. Having the estate house and cottage, barn, ceremony, reception and bonfire all on one property made the whole experience so special. Our wedding party could get ready on-site, celebrate all night, and simply walk back up the hill to the house afterward. Every detail was so thoughtfully handled, from the beautiful barn and venue-owned bar to the s’mores bonfire at the end of the night. The Stonewall bartenders were also SO kind and wonderful to our guests, and we heard so many compliments about them throughout the night. We have gotten multiple messages from guests telling us this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and it never could have reached the level it did without Melanie and the Stonewall Estate team. They truly have something magical going on up there, and we feel so lucky we got to have our wedding at Stonewall. If you’re dreaming of the perfect mountainscape wedding, this is your spot. A all around!!! XOXO, Lauren & Elijah”

It truly was the best weekend of our lives and we had so much fun! Every single detail was exactly how we wanted it thanks to Allie and Ken and the rest of the crew. “When we first booked Glen Sanders, someone told my mother that Glen Sanders runs like a well-oiled wedding machine. They were spot on. Glen Sanders knows weddings. Every vendor was thrilled to hear we were working with them. They made the entire process so easy, so clear. Maki, our bridal attendant, was INCREDIBLE. She greeted us off the bus with our champagne flutes, made sure I was hydrated all during photos, helped me with my dress, and brought me down my sneakers at the reception, among many other things. Glen Sanders also sets up all of your cocktail hour Hors d'œuvres in a separate room for you to eat before going to your reception, and it was the moment my husband and I needed to catch our breath and feel "present" for the rest of the night. People often say their wedding was a blur, but we remember every detail thanks to that moment to pause. As for the venue itself, all of our guests still talk about how great of a setup it was. We got ready on-site (groomsmen downstairs, bridesmaids upstairs, MOG got her hair done in the salon downstairs), our cocktail hour outside and on the enclosed porch, the reception in the ballroom, our after party in the basement bar (Speak-easy vibes!), and then we stayed up with close friends and siblings around the fire until the early hours before going to sleep in our rooms on-site! Glen Sanders is certainly a one-stop shop for everything, and their product is unparalleled. Thank you, GSM team, for the best night of our lives! -Elaina and Bill”

“We could not have asked for a more beautiful, inclusive, and accessible venue! Knowing that the vast majority of our guests would have to fly in to our wedding, no matter where we had it, it was important to us that we had a venue we could book for the whole weekend. Combined with all of the amenities Wylder offers, it was a no-brainer. The wedding weekend would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the incredible staff, particularly Andrea and Faith. From the moment of our first phone call until we were leaving the farewell brunch, they took care of us every step of the way. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, and Wylder truly felt like our home for the weekend. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful venue (with a lovely rain/cold weather location, which we ended up using), incredible food, and great service!”

“Weddings can be incredibly stressful and sometimes not go as you planned, but I can guarantee The Edison Downtown staff will make your special day the best wedding or event you’ve ever had. Jena, our wedding coordinator and Bylinda, the owner, truly went above and beyond any of my expectations for my wedding day. The attention to care to not only myself but all family members and party members was impeccable. The organization and leadership day of from Jena highly attributes to the perfection and smoothness of our wedding. She was there late the night before and there bright and early the day of to make sure everything we wanted was done correctly and done timely. She made sure to keep to our schedule and even if there were any bumps in our timeline, she handed it for us. She paid incredible attention to detail to both our wedding and after party, as we had a completely different themed event also at the venue slightly after our wedding ended. I’m sure this made it more difficult than usual for the staff, but Jena handled the organization of all of our decor and organization of the staff and people involved like a seasoned professional. The food from Season’s Catering was divine and some of the best food we can recall having at a wedding or other event in a very, very long time. Our guests cannot stop talking about how absolutely delicious all of the food was, how gorgeous and unique the venue was, and how it was one of the best weddings they have attended. From the bartender to the servers, everyone was so sweet and seemed so excited to be working our wedding day. I didn’t know exactly what to expect planning my first wedding, but was so thankful for having Bylinda and having Jena from the venue to handle everything. Any event at The Edison Downtown is worth every penny. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the effort they put into our special day.”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. “My wife and I met and got engaged in the Catskill Mountains, so it was so important to us that we also got married there. We found Spillian from an online search, and my wife was instantly drawn to the place; I was skeptical. But after touring it for the first time and meeting the owners - Mark and Leigh - it was apparent this was the only place we would want to get married. At Spillian there are no rules, and intentionality is the driving force behind every decision. From the food, to the people, to the actual wedding day, if you can dream it they can accommodate it. We wanted to do our rehearsal dinner there, and they asked us what we wanted for food. I tentatively proposed a build-your-own Bahn Mi bar and Mark wrote back a delicious, detailed menu, complete with boba tea. The food was excellent, and the fact that they have some rooms for you and some guests to stay on site made it even more special. We elected to have our bridal party there and it was so nice to be able to spend some time with them before and after the wedding. We came with all of our own decorations, and our flowers were dropped off the night before, and we were nervous about getting everything set up that day. But Alex and Sam, our day-of coordinators, took care of everything and make it look even better than we had ever imagined. And when it came to the day of, we were so overwhelmed that it was hard to make snap decisions. Sam and Alex were so patient with us, and really helped guide us through the day. I can't sing their praises enough but will publicly thank them here for allowing us to have the wedding of our dreams.”
