“Choosing second song as our DJ service for our wedding was the best decision we could have made!! The team is so accommodating and made the process of choosing our DJ so easy. After choosing second song, they allowed us to set up phone calls to interview DJ's to find the perfect fit for us. We ended up choosing DJ Daniel Cabral. Daniel was attentive and set up multiple meetings with us prior to our wedding to discuss our vision for our wedding day. Everything ran perfectly throughout the entire day. The audio for our ceremony was perfect and the music selections throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception set the mood for our wedding. We also hired a string trio through second song and they did a beautiful job at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our reception was a party and Daniel made sure people were on the dance floor all night long. We also had my cousin play the trumpet at our reception while Daniel played a song in the background. Daniel mic'd up his trumpet for us and it was such a hit! We also got our Photo Booth through second song and they provided the uplighting at the venue! “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“The Lucky Devils Band absolutely made our wedding reception! From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. We can't recommend the Lucky Devils Band highly enough - they were total professionals and our biggest splurge, but SO worth it I’d do it a million times over!!”

He did an amazing job of combining the hispanic culture and Spanish speakers from my husband’s side and upbeat pop beats from my side. There was not a single dull moment on the dance floor and I spent half of my wedding getting to dance and drink with my support system. He made it a dream come true. Not to mention the lights made it feel sooooo bougie too!!! He also does a flawless ceremony and dinner service. Killed the entire ceremony from the moment he got there till the moment he left! Would hire him over and over again!”

“My husband and I hired DJ Chaun and his wife lya's services for our wedding based on word of mouth from a colleague's experience at her daughter's quince. We knew we needed a Dj and wanted a photo-booth option. I reached out and received an almost instantaneous response and quote for services by lya. Their website was easy to use, the promptness in response to details/ questions were exceptional. lya even was more than willing to tour the venue to pre-approve set up within the space ahead of time. The price was right within our budget and almost seemed too good to be true in comparison to the quotes given by others for the same services. I'll be honest, my hopes weren't the highest, as we budgeted minimally for these services. I figured "you get what you pay for." BUT I was BLOWN away by Chaun & lya's professionalism, promptness and overall services. Chaun was given very vague information as far as music selections. He was able to quickly read the cues and likes of the guests and kept people on the dance floor during the majority of the reception. Our guests were not whining down, as they normally do closer to the close of the evening. We ended up paying for them to stay an additional hour (again-at a reasonable price) and they were more than willing to stay and accommodate. I wanted our wedding to be nothing less than memorable and fun for ourselves and our guests. Chaun & lya gave us exactly that! So so happy with their services. We also received our digital Photo Booth gallery (which was also a hit) four days following the wedding and it was so awesome looking at the pictures and reminiscing on such a great night during on honeymoon! 100% recommend!”
