We reached out to The Oviatt with just a month to go—and from the very first call, Gabe was calm, collected, and fully supportive of both our vision and our budget. No stress, no pressure—just genuine enthusiasm to help us make it happen. Lindsey was incredible. Even though we were fairly on top of everything, she guided us with clarity, creativity, and care. When plans shifted, she adjusted seamlessly and brought everything together in a way that felt effortless (though we know it wasn’t!). Even when the downtown curfew popped up the week of our wedding, the team took every curveball in stride and made sure we felt cared for from start to finish. If you’re looking for a stunning Art Deco gem with a team that truly has your back—this is it.

We had our wedding at the Lake Temescal Beach house, and had to wrap up by early evening - so we needed an afterparty venue! Phoenix is right down the street and turned out to be a perfect fit. We rented their gallery space as well as the main space, which gave our guests the opportunity for some scenery change and conversation - and everyone stayed til we had to kick them out at midnight! Lighting, decor, size and shape of the space - all were totally perfect. Saskia was accommodating and eager to host us; she was enthusiastic about our plan and gave us great recommendations - how to set up the space, vendors to bring in (the taco truck was essential), and fun props and essentials for totally reasonable rental rates. We never felt pushed, upsold, or like we needed to shy away from the kind of party we wanted to have. We had a great DJ set and karaoke til midnight. Even our photographer who said he'd stay til nine was still dancing and partying when we gave everyone the boot. So fun. Highly recommend.

A huge thank you to Jameson, Jade, Ash, Angie, and Adam for making my husband and myself feel so supported and celebrated every step of the way. Most of all, I’m so grateful to Katherine, Flora’s owner, for her constant support, guidance, and generosity throughout the planning process. The most important thing to me when planning my wedding was the quality of the food. I wanted my guests to leave saying it was one of the best meals they'd ever had. I am a wedding vendor and I know that large catered meals are usually blah at best. I got exactly what I wanted at Redbird. The food was AMAZING and their event spaces are gorgeous. Everything else was okay. The information we received at the initial walk-through ended up being less-than-accurate. It's frustrating that there is no real holding space for the smaller spaces when there are multiple events happening at the same time unless you pay for them. It's frustrating that *despite asking before signing a contract and being told it would be fine*, we were not allowed to take photos in any other areas of the building except the one we rented. There were often huge delays in responses to emails. They lost the bottle of wine we specifically requested to take home for our first anniversary (and which we were, of course, billed for). But overall, the food made the frustration worth it.

Green Gables by Trademark Venues was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was clear, responsive, and incredibly helpful - April Sosa in particular was amazing to work with. The venue itself was beautiful, spacious, and extremely well-organized, which allowed us to fully enjoy our special day without stress or worry. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of both emotionally and physically, and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. Huron Substation was the most incredible venue for our wedding in April. We absolutely loved it, and so did all of our guests. From the first tour we took, we knew it was the location for us... it has beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces - and it is visually stunning in a rich, interesting, unique way. We love how the current owners and staff have worked to restore the building and honor its history - and in doing so, the history of LA. Dave is a wonderful site and event coordinator, and he was so communicative, responsive, and helpful! Everyone connected to Huron is clearly committed to the community and conservation, and the playhouse is awesome, too!

We loved having our wedding at the La Jolla Woman's Club. The venue was very prompt and easy to communicate with during the planning process, which helped make things stress-free. The space itself is clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained - perfect for both our ceremony and reception. A highlight was using their grand piano on stage during our mother daughter dance. It was a special moment. They also made the rental process smooth by offering most items directly through their preferred vendor. Overall, fantastic service and great value for a San Diego wedding venue. The stunning architecture and coastal views provided a perfect backdrop for our big day.

The only vendor BRICK requires you to use, is their bar team, which is perfect because they were AMAZING. They were friendly, attentive, fast, and fun to have at the event. Paradise Ridge was absolutely stunning for our wedding! Even though it rained all day unexpectedly, the venue was just breathtaking. The only thing I would definitely change is that they have ceremonies start at 6pm and receptions end at 11pm- I wish we would've either added the optional hour to go to midnight or rented the space out to start earlier since everyone was having a ton of fun and it felt like the dancing didn't last as long as some other weddings we've been to. The staff was professional and knowledgable, and we didn't have any problems day of. They also have chairs and tables for 150 people included, which was great when making the rental order. Overall, PRW was fantastic.
