Churon Winery is pure magic. We cannot possibly thank the team at Churon enough for the magic that they created on our wedding day. We would highly encourage all considering Churon to cease their search. Churon has everything you could imagine and more. We chose Churon Winery as our venue for so many reasons, and Meilee, the venue coordinator, was one of the main reasons. Meilee cares so much about her couples as her clients. She is attentive to every detail, exceptionally responsive, accommodating to ideas, and so very kind. She is knowledgeable and does not leave any detail untouched. She gave us a great deal of confidence that we were in good hands. And, she gets the job done above and beyond what we could have expected. Churon’s staff is so kind. From Danni in the wine tasting room to Julie’s welcome at the front desk to Chef Enrique and his entire staff to Paola and her housekeeping team. Our stay was a delight. All guests receive a free glass of wine upon check in where they are welcomed by the best tasting staff. The rooms are a dream and easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Paola keeps the rooms immaculate. You walk in and think you are walking into a room in Tuscany, Italy. The hot air balloons rise every morning and this is visible from right outside the rooms. Our guests got to enjoy this sight with coffee on their balcony or on the inn terrace each morning. Breakfast is complimentary each morning of your stay and this breakfast outdoes any breakfast: eggs benedict, croissant sandwiches, omelets, orange juice and mimosas, and so much more. Our guests could not believe the service. Staying onsite was a lovely touch as we all had the morning to enjoy ourselves before the ceremony. Chef Enrique outdid himself with the food for the reception. Guests raved about the food. He clearly takes pride in his recipes. He even makes his own Chardonnay dressing for the salads! We also had a delightful time at our tasting. The venue itself is a vision. From the gazebo where you say “I do” to the many vineyards that sit in the distance to the market lights lighting the reception area. Each part of the evening has its own section, so the flow of the day is flawless. Set up and take down was also flawless. Meilee and Paola think of every detail; we had nothing to worry about. And, one of the best parts is that your room is just steps away. The Churon team has become like family to us. We never could have imagined that signing a contract with Churon would enter us into a phenomenal community of people that we look forward to visiting for many years to come. We became wine members because we are so excited to stay connected and plan to celebrate on our anniversary there every year. We highly recommend Churon for all size weddings and especially for those seeking an intimate ceremony that offers you the opportunity to celebrate and spend time with guests all weekend. Thank you, Churon team. We are so very grateful for all you have invested in us. We will be living in this dream for many years to come and owe you a lifetime of thanks. Truly. See you next month to enjoy more wine on the terrace!

  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists

  • Not for you if you don't want a rustic vibe
CRC Ranch is a 70 acre equestrian ranch with two absolutely breathtaking ceremony sites on property. I “got hitched” at CRC this last weekend and it truly could not have been any more perfect. This was the last venue my now husband, family and I toured in our search for a wedding venue. I knew I wanted something a little more rustic but still elegant and that is exactly what the Ranch offers. There’s a stunning outdoor ceremony site with a beautiful stone walkway for the aisle, a wooden stage and arch. Then there’s a beautiful indoor air conditioned barn with the most beautiful grand entrance doors for the reception. Not to mention MULTIPLE beautiful airbnbs, and trailer/RV Spots to stay at over night. This was a “pro” we were not going to find anywhere else and really what held our interest in the Ranch since a lot of my family would be traveling from Los Angeles. We ended up booking 3/5 of the airbnbs and 5 RV spots for our wedding weekend. As for the staff at CRC, I could not be happier with the way our entire day turned out and truly it was all thanks to Tracey and staff. From the very beginning, Tracey has been nothing but professional, honest, and very understanding of what we wanted our special day to look like. Tracey and her staff continued to check in throughout our wedding planning process to see if we needed anything and to recommend vendors to make the day that much more special. Tracey was truly a phenomenal wedding coordinator. We started our ceremony a bit late due to other uncontrollable circumstances but Tracey made sure to do what was necessary to get us back on track. Everything turned out so beautifully and amazing. Our guests had such a great time and loved being able to explore the ranch and look at the horses during cocktail hour. We had so much positive feedback from our wedding party and our guests on how this was just a beautiful wedding and would be a weekend to remember. A huge thank you to Tracey, her staff, the owner Bob, and all the other vendors that made our wedding day quite literally the best day of our lives. We will definitely be back to the ranch to visit, maybe spend a weekend, and say hello to the staff. I highly recommend working with Tracey and booking CRC Ranch as your wedding venue if you want a beautiful rustic wedding!

The Bel Vino team is the absolute best, specifically Sydnie! We had the pleasure of planning a wedding here and it was absolutely perfect. Throughout the entire process we felt nothing but confidence in the entire team. They were always so supportive and caring and helped address any concerns that we had that arose. Their level of professionalism and experience from each individual, including the entire staff was the very best. We heard from all of our guests such positive feedback and that the staff was always accommodating. Not to mention the food was amazing and our event captain Heather that night took care of everything. Our needs were always anticipated and met. It was like she could read our mind. She was awesome and could not recommend more. Our dj Andrea made sure our guests were entertained the entire night where everything felt smooth and relaxed. If you do choose to work with the Bel Vino team, you can’t go wrong with any of the staff. However special shoutout to Sydnie, the coordinator we had the pleasure of working with, who is the most loving and caring tender soul. She really made us feel like our wedding mattered and without her, our night would not have been as special. professional photos done by @oflove.co (who we also absolutely adore and highly recommend)

We got married here in May of 2025, and I could not recommend this venue enough! This will likely be a long review, but if you are engaged and looking for a wedding venue, it is worth the read. Scribner Bend was the best option we could have chosen for our wedding, and I am so glad we did. Tldr: This venue works to save you money, has an attentive and detail oriented staff, and offers a lot to justify the price! The biggest standout was how committed the staff and team are to making sure you get the best value from your wedding. - They cut fees without us asking (there was initially an outside vendor % fee that they changed to a flat price, or that %, whichever was lower) - They worked with us to get what we wanted out of our wedding without additional costs (letting us substitute a red wine for sangria and a white wine for the sparkling almond without an upcharge, letting us know how to get a vegetarian option for our guests without having to pay for an additional main course, allowing us to bring in things that the venue doesn't provide at no extra cost, etc.) - they allowed us to make changes to our headcount before making the final payment. The wedding industry is FULL of people who know they can throw in extra fees without repercussion, and Scribner bend is not like that at all. - They honored the venue and catering price we signed under, even though we got married almost 2 years after signing. They did this without us asking. - The venue also processed and sent the refund of our deposit by the time we got back from our honeymoon. Additionally, the staff and service overall was amazing. They remembered us by face every time we went into the tasting room, they were reachable with questions and had a wonderful response time(and I had a LOT of questions since I did not have a planner), and it was clear that they wanted to make the wedding process easy for us. Our wedding coordinator was extremely knowledgeable on everything (from venue details to the best time to call an uber back home), and she coordinated so well with Rain from Paesanos. She actually ran our wedding rehearsal better than full service planners i've seen at other weddings. The team offered well-planned options for day-of logistics, but were 100% on board with our updated vision for the day, and made it come to life at no extra cost. Scribner bend is also an easy venue to get married at. The grounds are naturally beautiful, so the only florals we bought were my bouquet to hold, and flowers for our tables. This saved us THOUSANDS of dollars. The venue is private (and the tasting rooms are closed by the time of the wedding) so you never run the risk of wedding crashers. The getting ready bungalow was HUGE. We were able to do florals and candles, have two make up artists, AND have private places to relax and get dressed without being overcrowded (and I had a huge wedding party). My husband loved the air stream as well, but I still still think the bungalow was better :). They had a good relationship with Celebrations party rentals, where my husband and I were able to customize our rentals, but still get them through Scribner Bend at a slightly lower cost (fewer fees!). I thought we were going to feel like the 11pm stop time was too early, but it actually made sure the party went until the very end, and allowed us time to say goodbye to our loved ones without feeling like we were missing any part of the evening. I would recommend Scribner bend 100 times over!

We had our wedding at Danza del Sol Winery by Wedgewood Weddings and were pleased with their service. The venue itself is brand new and absolutely stunning, with a rustic industrial design and beautiful landscaping. The only downside was a lack of shade during the outdoor ceremony in the hot sun. The staff’s communication and attention to detail was appreciated and really sets you up for success, especially if you have never planned a wedding before. We texted, video chatted and had a planned schedule with our coordinator, who made sure everything flowed smoothly on our big day. The package deal was very fairly priced for the quality, and the open bar kept drinks flowing in our hands constantly. I especially appreciated how they checked in to make sure my groom and I were happy and had everything we needed throughout the celebrations. If you're looking for a venue that combines rustic wine country charm with first-class service, I highly recommend Danza del Sol!

The venue is stunning—offering both beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces surrounded by horses, chickens, and the occasional wildlife visitor, which added such a charming touch. Our coordinator, Julia, made everything feel effortless. She truly knows every detail of what it takes to plan the perfect event and executed everything flawlessly on the big day. The newly expanded bridal suite is gorgeous—spacious, elegant, and ideal for getting ready and capturing those special bridal photos. We also had iffy weather leading up to our wedding, and Julia had a seamless backup plan ready to go just in case. I don't even know what to say because I'm so overwhelmed with how perfect everything went on our wedding day. I get more and more obsessed the more I look back at photos! We were at their Villa de Fiore venue and I can't speak of it highly enough - the bridal suite is HUGE and so comfortable, and the groom's suite (though smaller) is also stunning. Being able to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception back to back in the same spot was so convenient, not to mention the stunning location. Everyone we worked with at Monserate was so amazing, professional and helpful. Hali took over as our main contact a few months before our wedding and she was an absolute gem, so friendly and incredibly helpful. She was also onsite day-of for anything we needed and helped the whole day run smoothly (even made sure I got my espresso martini before the ceremony after the bartenders told my maid of honor they couldn't serve us yet). She also gifted us a bottle of champagne with a sweet hand-written card afterwards and offered to buy us lunch any time we returned to their winery. Though this might be standard practice for their coordinators, it still meant a lot to us as a couple!

That extended access truly made a difference in how special the weekend felt. However, there were a few challenges that did impact our plans. The event barn, which was a key part of our original vision, was unfortunately not finished in time for our wedding. While we understand this was out of the owner’s control, we were disappointed that we were not refunded the full 2,000 deposit, especially since the change affected nearly every aspect of our day. Additionally, when we arrived, we were surprised to find the vineyard had been plowed without any prior notice. This forced another last-minute adjustment to our setup so we wouldn’t be facing a dirt lot. It would have been really helpful to have been told about that in advance. Despite these hiccups, the venue itself has so much potential and charm, and we did have a lovely wedding. I just hope some of these experiences can help future couples plan better or spark a few improvements from the venue for the future.

How lucky am I to get married where I work! As someone who works weddings every weekend, it was surreal to finally be on the other side and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience than with Flora The Venue. I might be a little biased, but the coordination team is genuinely top-tier. A huge thank you to Jameson, Jade, Ash, Angie, and Adam for making my husband and myself feel so supported and celebrated every step of the way. Most of all, I’m so grateful to Katherine, Flora’s owner, for her constant support, guidance, and generosity throughout the planning process. • Space for a large guest list
  • Private area for the wedding party

Venue considerations

  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • On-site parking not available
  • Does not have a dance floor
As wedding photographers, my husband and I have worked at just about every venue in the Sacramento and Sierra Foothills area—so when it came time to plan our own wedding, we didn’t even have to think twice. River Highlands Ranch was the one. The venue is seriously stunning. The barn has an elegant, elevated feel, but it’s still totally relaxed and surrounded by vineyards, gardens, rolling hills, and open space that just makes you breathe easier. We had a small wedding and did our ceremony under the oak tree, and it was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and gorgeous. There were SO many great spots for photos- the garden, vineyards, orchard, stream, pond, rolling hills, and of course the barn with it's huge green doors and beautiful vines surrounding the doorways. One of the biggest perks was how much was already included. Beautiful farm tables, lounge furniture, cocktail tables, draping, lighting—it all looked amazing and saved us so much money (and stress). We also loved that we could bring our own alcohol. The staff were also awesome. Everyone was kind, helpful, and made sure things ran smoothly so we could actually enjoy the day. Our guests loved the space—and even in the middle of summer, the fire pit was a hit. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s beautiful, easy, and has everything you need without a ton of extra work, I can’t recommend River Highlands Ranch enough.

Venue considerations

  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Not wheelchair accessible
My husband and I got married at Secluded Garden Estate back in February. I have no regrets in choosing this venue. There were some hiccups right before and after our event happened. The venue owners were very kind and welcoming to us and what our vision was. It is on their home property so be prepared to share the smaller Bridal Suite area and possibly hear some noise as you’re getting ready. There was no all inclusive package available for us so we had to bring EVERYTHING and get it from, outside vendors. We chose this so that we could make it more our own. They did offer heaters for a certain price but we chose not to use them after all. The day of staff were so incredibly helpful, all the men that were there offered to lend a helping hand to our family as they cleaned up. Because of this, there was some miscommunication between us and the vendor owners. So, please be clear with the staff that you do not want to get charged for something that you aren’t supposed to. Also, make sure to just communicate with the owners of how you should coordinate with the vendors, such as day and time of drop off and pick up. (Ex. Tables and chairs) Overall, we loved this venue. It was what we had envisioned for our special day and we are blessed because of it. Hope this helped someone!!! :D

This review is long overdue. The staff was really amazing in coordinating our perfect wedding right from the beginning. We were planning our big day from out of state, which you would think would cause a few hiccups but the staff at J Winston Winery made everything very easy. Taylor Kinsey, Operations manager, was always quick to respond, provided great recommendations, had tremendous patience and was very professional throughout the entire process. They offered a package to buy out the winery at a very reasonable price so we didn’t have to worry about uninvited guests or rush any last minute details. The wine packages were just as reasonable; the only tough decision here was deciding which ones to serve. The newly built barn, where we hosted our reception was beautifully done. It had all the right touches with very little need for additional decorations. The day before the wedding we were able to setup/prep anything we needed to and of course enjoyed some of their amazing wine. We were really appreciative of them working closely with our multiple vendors prior to wedding day and getting them all set up on our special day. We can’t thank them enough for making our special day truly magical. We still visit the winery when we’re in town and to this day continue to thank them for the great job they did and reminiscence on the fun we had. Thank you John and the J Winston Winery team for being there for us especially Taylor and Leyla!

Our wedding at the Ranch at Stoney Creek was nothing short of AMAZING! Our guests had the best time, and LOVED the venue (as did we). The venue is spectacularly beautiful, and the team there were so helpful with organizing EVERYTHING! They provided us with beautiful decor and floral arrangements, an amazing wedding planner, and recommendations for catering and wine vendors in the area. We were even able to have some guests camp on site in beautiful "glamping" tents, which was absolutely awesome (and what we wanted since were were looking for guests to have camping options). Additionally, we were able to stay with our family, onsite, in their beautiful guest-rooms, while other guests were able to stay at adorable Air BnB's and Hotels in the area. Everyone that attended our wedding said it was the "Best wedding they had been to!" Our wedding was everything we wanted and more thank you to the team at The Ranch at Stoney Creek!
