About this venue
Urban Adamah is an educational farm and community center in Berkeley, California that integrates the practices of Jewish tradition, mindfulness, sustainable agriculture, and social action to build loving, just, and sustainable communities. We provide training programs, educational workshops, and community celebrations for more than 10,000 visitors annually.

A vibrant, flexible canvas where your unique celebration meets the authentic warmth of the farm
The Community Hall offers a beautiful and expansive open space designed for grand and celebratory events. The interior is immediately festive, warmly accented with vibrant, colorful Moroccan-style fabric and lantern decoration. This flexible hall can easily accommodate large seated receptions or full-capacity ceremonies. It is fully supported by an attached commercial kitchen for seamless catering service. For perfect indoor/outdoor flow, the hall is located adjacent to an open outdoor gathering area, allowing your guests to enjoy the fresh air and unique atmosphere of the farm on your special day.

Arguably the coziest space on the farm, perfect for the quieter moments of your big day.
The Yurt is a tranquil 30′-diameter retreat designed to enrich every wedding moment. Ideal for getting ready, first looks, or providing guests with a peaceful, restorative lounge, it features warm hardwood floors, climate control, a large-screen TV, Sonos sound, and adaptable seating, creating a private, comfortable space that enhances connection, calm, and celebration throughout the day.

The Lodge sets the stage for an unforgettable wedding weekend, with lodging for up to 56 guests plus versatile community rooms perfect for getting ready, gathering, or relaxing. Paired with a secret outdoor patio and our spacious amphitheater, it’s a warm, communal hub where you can keep your favorite people close from the first welcome to the final farewell.

Beautiful atmosphere
Days after my mom passed, I was searching for a venue for her memorial service. Thank God I found Urban Adamah. Tyler and Libby were so kind, responsive, and supportive while I was navigating logistical details in the middle of grief. The location is truly an oasis. There is so much love and care poured into maintaining the space, and you can feel it both physically and emotionally. On the day of the service, they were helpful with setup and helped everything run smoothly. Our family and my mom's friends were able to enjoy the beauty and welcoming atmosphere while sharing loving stories and memories of her. I am truly grateful to have found Urban Adamah during such an important and difficult chapter of my life.

Amazing venue for all occasions
Urban Adamah was the perfect fit for our needs. From our first conversation through the final details, their team stayed in touch and answered every question we had without delay. The staff was friendly and genuinely excited to help us plan, and they really made us feel taken care of. The farm setting is absolutely gorgeous, the food delicious, and the accommodations were quality and fun with private and bunk style rooms. Everything came together seamlessly for our big weekend, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the beautiful space and delicious meal. Highly recommend Urban Adamah!!

A Serene and Beautiful Event Space
If you’re looking for a nature-inspired setting for a ceremony or reception, Urban Adamah is truly a special place to consider. We recently hosted an event there and were so impressed—not only by the beauty of the space, but by how supportive and knowledgeable the staff were throughout the entire process. The setting itself is stunning. Every detail—from the landscaping to the thoughtfully designed architecture and interiors—feels intentional and welcoming. It creates a peaceful, grounded atmosphere that’s perfect for meaningful gatherings. What really stood out, though, was the team onsite. The event manager we worked with was incredibly attentive, responsive, and able to answer all of our questions with ease. Their warmth and deep familiarity with the space made everything run smoothly, allowing us to focus on enjoying the event rather than worrying about logistics. It was such a positive experience, and I would happily return to host another event there in the future.

Lovely joyous wedding at Urban Adamah
Urban Adamah was an exceptionally wonderful venue for our wedding. All the staff were very helpful and enjoyable to work with. The setting itself - with the flowers, fruiting trees, vegetation, goats ... adding so much - had all the spaces we needed for ceremony, gathering, meals. We highly recommend!
