About this venue

Urban Adamah is an educational farm and community center in Berkeley, California that integrates the practices of Jewish tradition, mindfulness, sustainable agriculture, and social action to build loving, just, and sustainable communities. We provide training programs, educational workshops, and community celebrations for more than 10,000 visitors annually.

The Community Hall

A vibrant, flexible canvas where your unique celebration meets the authentic warmth of the farm

The Community Hall offers a beautiful and expansive open space designed for grand and celebratory events. The interior is immediately festive, warmly accented with vibrant, colorful Moroccan-style fabric and lantern decoration. This flexible hall can easily accommodate large seated receptions or full-capacity ceremonies. It is fully supported by an attached commercial kitchen for seamless catering service. For perfect indoor/outdoor flow, the hall is located adjacent to an open outdoor gathering area, allowing your guests to enjoy the fresh air and unique atmosphere of the farm on your special day.

The Yurt

Arguably the coziest space on the farm, perfect for the quieter moments of your big day.

The Yurt is a tranquil 30′-diameter retreat designed to enrich every wedding moment. Ideal for getting ready, first looks, or providing guests with a peaceful, restorative lounge, it features warm hardwood floors, climate control, a large-screen TV, Sonos sound, and adaptable seating, creating a private, comfortable space that enhances connection, calm, and celebration throughout the day.

The Lodge sets the stage for an unforgettable wedding weekend, with lodging for up to 56 guests plus versatile community rooms perfect for getting ready, gathering, or relaxing. Paired with a secret outdoor patio and our spacious amphitheater, it’s a warm, communal hub where you can keep your favorite people close from the first welcome to the final farewell.
