I used Enchanted Celebrations for an engagement session and I am blown away with the photos! We had Brandon as our photographer and he was amazing to work with and had such a creative eye! The whole process leading up to the photo session was so smooth and easy, we worked with an event coordinator who helped us and answered all my 10,000 questions! Response time was very quick too! Hey, I'm Joliette! I recently moved to Westchester, NY with my husband and labradoodle, Basil, after living in Manhattan for the last 8 years. I'm obsessed with dancing, cookies, dogs, and of course, love! I put relationships first, photos second. I want to know your love story, so I can capture your true essence. I'm not just here for the photos, I'm here to make your life easier, however I can! When you see me and my camera, I want you to breathe a sigh of relief, not tense up at the sound of the shutter. That's why I'll help you figure out ALL of the details of your session from start to finish.

Joliette was the best photographer I have ever used. She is very friendly and personable as well as extremely talented. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect I would recommend her 10/10 times to anyone.

Eddie (and his equally wonderful assistant) brought such an easygoing, joyful energy to our wedding. From the first hello, he made everyone feel comfortable and confident, and his presence added to the fun rather than feeling staged or stressful. The day ran seamlessly, and they captured everything beautifully without interrupting the moments. We also had a rainy engagement shoot, and Eddie handled it like a pro—cool, encouraging, and creative. The final gallery blew us away: cinematic compositions, natural expressions, and images that made us look our best while telling the story of our day. If you want talent, professionalism, and a photographer who genuinely elevates the experience, book Eddie.

You know that all encompassing feeling when you’re revisiting a vivid memory? You can smell the fresh air, feel the way the sun hits your face just so, hear the voice of the loved one next to you, remember the joke that they delivered and instantly you’re laughing all over again. That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.

Jessica was the best photographer that we could have asked for. From day one, we vibed, and I love her style. She captured every moment, and then some. We truly recommend her to anyone that wants those everlasting memories captured in the right light! She was/is more than a photographer. Thank you, friend. 3

Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. I aim to capture the little details and authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
From our very first email exchange to the moment we received our photos, every step of working with Rich was an incredible experience. He always responded quickly, answered every question with patience, and offered thoughtful suggestions I hadn’t even considered. His preparation before the wedding gave us confidence that everything would run smoothly, and it truly did. Richard was exceptionally professional, respectful, kind, and understanding. On our wedding day, he brought a sense of calm amid the chaos. He blended seamlessly into the flow of events—always present when needed, but never intrusive—and coordinated effortlessly with our families, bridal party, and other vendors. He was also incredibly organized with the shots we needed, keeping us on track without ever making us feel rushed. Richard delivered our full gallery exactly one month after our wedding and just before Thanksgiving so we could share the photos with our families over the holiday. It meant so much to us and we were thrilled to receive our pictures so quickly. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving the entire day, moment by moment. He captured the vibe and essence of our wedding perfectly. I especially appreciated his ideas and direction, and his artistic eye genuinely blew us away. He noticed angles, lighting, and emotional moments, capturing everything from the big highlights to the smallest in-between moments. The pictures he took of us, our families, and our venue were stunning—so much so that multiple friends texted us saying the photos looked like they belonged in Vogue. That is entirely to Richard’s credit. Choosing Richard as our wedding photographer was, without question, one of the best decisions I made in the entire wedding process. I am endlessly grateful to have these photos to cherish forever. Choose Rich as your wedding photographer - you will not regret it!!!!

Matthew Rigby Photography
Rating: 5.0 (22 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Andes, NY

I'm Matthew, a wedding photographer based in Garrison, NY. With a decade as a wedding photographer and 15 years as an educator, I bring two things to every wedding: the ability to document moments as they happen, and the calm to handle whatever the day brings. I prepare carefully, communicate beforehand, and stay present when it's busy. My style is mostly documentary. I blend into the wedding, observing and documenting moments as they happen rather than staging them. Feedback I hear most often is that couples weren't aware of me, but that I got everything. I work with all couples and celebrate every kind of love, and every kind of marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved working with Matthew. I'm going to break this review down into a few areas that I think were particularly meaningful to my experience working with Matthew: Photo Style I think Matthew's portfolio speaks for itself, but I just appreciate so much how his style blends dreamy romantic shots with a photojournalistic approach. My wedding photos really feel like they captured not only the memories of the day, but the feelings we had. Pre and Post Wedding Communication From our initial booking, Matthew was extremely easy to talk to, and made it easy to understand and talk through the details of our contract and what we could expect. I think for people who are planning a wedding for the first time don't realize how much having a vendor who is patient, detail-oriented, and willing to hold your hand and guide you through the process of booking, understanding your goals, and planning for your special day matters, and Matthew could teach a masterclass in this. The pre-work Matthew did of planning, researching the venue, coordinating, and communicating effectively and efficiently was next-level professionalism, and really sets the bar for what it means to book a wedding photographer. I also think it's important to note that all of the post wedding communication has been top-notch – I think it would be understandable to call the job done after the check is paid, but quality of our communication has been consistently amazing. Day-Of Logistics / Shot Direction Matthew and his second photographer followed the plan we had set pre-wedding to a T. They were actively leading the coordinating and making sure we had all of the necessary people ready to keep to our timeline. When it was time to do different set shots (family, bridal party, ceremony, sunset), Matthew had locations in mind and was able to give guidance that made us feel comfortable and natural while getting so so many amazing shots (in very constrained timeframes). Personality I think Matthew has a very high emotional intelligence, and he was so good at genuinely making everyone feel comfortable in subtle ways. My family and my husband are all very camera shy, and notoriously hate getting their photos taken. There were so many little interactions and things that Matthew did and said that made each person feel comfortable in their own way. A few examples that come to mind: - At one point, my mom was leaning against a staircase, and Matthew took a portrait of her and told her she was a natural at posing – up until that point, she had been feeling and looking nervous, and after that she really opened up and looked so happy and comfortable. - My dad is extremely camera shy, hates being on camera and typically looks terrified and self conscious in photos. Matthew said a few things while he was taking our photos that I think really made my dad focus on how excited he was for me and my wedding, and you can just see how happy and loving he is in the photos.

A good friend of mine has said that my brand is to care. She isn’t wrong-my brand is one of caring because my being is one of caring. I’ve been a wedding photog for 14+ yrs. I find that being a wedding photog is a gift - I barely have the words to describe how special it feels to be invited into clients’ most momentous & intimate wedding moments over & over again. I’m a champion for the weird & whimsical, the fun & funky - even & especially on wedding days. Plan your day the way you want to, trends be damned. Let your wedding day reflect your joy. That’s what we’re all there to celebrate, anyway. ✨

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Sweet Alice Photography enough!!!! If you are getting married in the Hudson Valley area, you won’t find a more professional, personable or talented photographer than Erica! When we decided to spend our lives together, we knew we wanted a wedding that was an authentic presentation of who we were; a celebration of two families coming together that was filled with color and nature. We called upon family and close friends to help us with their talents for many elements of our wedding, but knew we needed a professional behind the lens to capture our big day. Erica at Sweet Alice Photography seemed like the perfect fit for us. Her honest and candid photos tell a story that feels real without excessive filtering. We felt so comfortable working with Erica. She was cheerful, communicative and accommodating through every step of the process. Regular email updates and words of encouragement arrived in our inboxes unprompted, and even when we had to make a last minute venue change she was so incredibly supportive. She really felt like part of the family! We loved the preview shots she sent us within days of the ceremony and couldn’t wait to share them with all our guests. We were surprised to receive all our images so quickly and in an adorable gift box with the coolest flash drive!!!

We were so lucky to have found Kathryn for our wedding. As a photographer, Kathryn is an artist. She has incredible talent, creative ideas, and delivers stunning results. As a person, Kathryn is simply a joy. She is warm, easygoing, and fun. She made the process so easy from start to finish and we actually miss getting to chat with her! We are a same-sex, interfaith couple, and came to the table with family drama, a crazy dog, and a mashing of cultures. Kathryn didn't bat an eyelash. She has a true inclusive spirit, and that continues to mean a lot to us. If you want to be able to relive your special day with profound joy for years to come, just choose Kathryn! We’re Hudson Valley and Catskills wedding photographers who specialize in intimate celebrations filled with connection and emotion. Our focus is on real moments, beautiful light, and photos that feel like you. Whether you’re planning a cozy backyard wedding or an adventurous elopement in the mountains, we’ll capture it with care and creativity.

I had stumbled upon Megan and Kenneth’s work and immediately fell in love with their style. I reached out to them as we were still on our way home from our venue tour after finalizing our date. I didn’t imagine that they could literally be better than the pictures, but they are. Megan and Kenneth were not only our photographers, they TRULY became our friends. They are hilarious people that have mastered the art of making you feel confident, at ease, and completely yourself. They take such care in their work, and even more care in making sure they understand their couple and capture their essence perfectly. I really can’t have imagined our wedding day without them. Apart from how incredible they are, they are extremely reasonable in price for the top tier quality of their work, and they are insanely responsive and quick in their return times! I would recommend Megan and Kenneth a bajillion times over. They not only will capture your day beautifully, but they will make your day better.

If I have a camera in my hands, then I am most definitely smiling. Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager and I love bringing that passion to weddings. I strive to capture all the intimate details that make a wedding truly personal. Don't be surprised if you see me crying during the parent dances, it's one of my favorite moments :)

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah is firstly a gifted artist and photographer. As you can see she understands space and color in a way that my wife and I clearly do not but more importantly she understands what makes a moment feel special. We asked Sarah to deliver a documentary style wedding experience and she did not fail. When my wife and I chose Sarah, she immediately got to work helping us to plan our wedding day in a way that you might not necessarily expect from a wedding photographer. Sarah was so personal and friendly on the day of our wedding, it felt more like we had a friend taking our pictures as a favor. However, the finished products speak for themselves: our friends and family celebrating, iconic moments of the day, and our love clearly shown throughout. Sarah delivered organization, artistry, and value in a comprehensive package that can’t be beat.

Since 2014, I have been working as a professional photographer, from dance competitions, to headshots, press events, engagements, weddings, corporate, and picture day in NYC public schools. But no matter where my career has taken me, my favorite moments have always been about capturing love, connection, and togetherness. As your wedding photographer, I promise a relaxed, fun, and creative atmosphere, making sure you feel confident and at ease in front of the camera. My goal is to deliver stunning visuals that will exceed your expectations.

My partner booked Lisa to take photos of our proposal, and we could not be happier with the whole experience!! Not only did she brave a cold night on the brooklyn bridge, but the photos came out absolutely magical. She captured the moment perfectly, and even little side moments with family and friends. She captured every organic moment from tears to laughter, in a beautiful and truthful way. We are so happy with our photos and can’t wait to look back on them for the many years ahead.

Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras, flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. I have used writing, art, and photo to document my life and it is an incredibly special thing to be able to share that with my clients.

Awarded Best of Zola
Short story long. We got married in September 2025 on a bright and somewhat cloudy day in a Historic Lodge in Hudson Valley. Nina was our ONLY photographer that day. I don't know too much about photography, but I do know that on our wedding day the lighting in the building and the grounds was varied and difficult to navigate. I highlight this because the photos that Nina captured and edited were BEYOND SPECTACULAR. Aside from being extremely talented, she was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the day. She provided us structure prior to the day, but made everything seem seamless and effortless the day of the Wedding. I highly recommend Nina for literally every occasion. I guarantee she will be documenting every life event of ours for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much Nina!

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Andes, NY

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected, their communication style was friendly, responsive, and clear. They took the time to understand our vision and made sure we felt at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is truly exceptional - their photos have a nostalgic, natural, and emotional quality that perfectly captured the spirit of our special day. Cappy's skill and creativity shone through, even in the challenging backgrounds of our intimate venue in Greenport. They beautifully documented every moment, from the getting ready shots to the ceremony and reception. The final images are timeless, memorable, and absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Cappy Hotchkiss Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photographer.

I like to find beauty in the balance between the shadows and the light. They are rarely inseparable. They are complex and totally opposite and yet they can not live without the other. Just like real connection. What is real is beautiful. Only love is real. Your wedding day is important. To you. To your families. To me. And I don’t take it lightly. I understand that you’ve never done this before and you may not even know where to start! Don’t worry- I got you!

From the moment we first spoke with Sam, we knew immediately we found our wedding photographer. Booking her was the first and best decision we made in our entire planning process. She also shot our engagement session, which was a fantastic way to get comfortable in front of her camera and got us even more excited for her to photograph our wedding day. Sam's vivacious energy is truly infectious; she is the coolest person in the room and someone you instantly want to be friends with. This warmth and enthusiasm translate into her ability to make anyone feel comfortable and authentic behind the lens. She has an innate talent for capturing the very essence of every moment without making anything seem forced or posed. Beyond her incredible photography skill, she is a master of organization and execution. She was an incredible director when it came to herding family and friends for group shots, keeping everyone on track without ever losing her magnetic cheerfulness, and she had my dress bustled in under 60 seconds! She was always ready to do whatever it took to make sure we got the best shots. The photo album we recieved absolutely blew us away. She got every shot we wanted and then some and truly captured every beautiful moment of the day. We will without a doubt cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. We wholeheartedly recommend Sam to any couple looking for a photographer who is both a master of her craft and an absolute joy to be around!

This is such a special time and I’m so excited for you! 🤗💍 If you’re still looking for a wedding photographer, I’d love to connect! I’m Erin Braden, and I specialize in capturing real, emotional, joy-filled wedding days across the Hudson Valley and beyond. I work closely with every couple to learn your story, your style, and your vision—then turn that into a wedding gallery that feels personal, powerful, and authentically you. Whether your vibe is romantic, wild, classy, or totally laid-back, I’ll make sure your photos reflect it all.

Erin's photos are like no other. She did an amazing job with our engagement photos and a fabulous job with our wedding photos! Her photos speak for themselves but she also went above and beyond for us. After the ceremony, we greeted each guest as they entered the venue. While I was hugging everyone, she took off my removable sleeves and bustled my dress, while also managing to get beautiful pictures of us hugging friends and family. She heard me say before the ceremony that I would be taking the sleeves off and bustling the dress right away and she took action. Throughout the entire wedding day she was moving, climbing on top of things and laying out the ground to get the perfect shots. And she sure did!! She also posted our sneak peak photos the very next morning. We received 7 beautifully edited pictures before we even left the hotel the next day. Later that day she sent us a link to about 5,000 pictures she took at our wedding. They are not yet edited, so we can't post all of them yet. From talking to friends and reading things in Facebook groups, I know it is not normal to be able to see all of the photos so fast. It was such a gift to look through the photos so soon, instead of waiting for months. She works hard, she works quickly, and she produces photos beyond what we imagined we would get from our wedding day.

My clients describe me as caring, passionate about my work, and trustworthy. I am honored to feel like an extended member of the family when I'm photographing weddings! When I’m not working with amazing people, you'll find me hiking in the Hudson Valley, brunching with my girlfriends, or planning my next vacation (mostly likely on a beach somewhere). I'm obsessed with warm weather, family gatherings, and sunsets. When it's chilly out, you'll find me with a hot cocoa in hand. If there's music on, it's likely country or throwback 80s jams. ALL people and love stories are welcome here!

We love Debbie! Debbie has been such a pleasure to work with through our wedding process. Since our first meeting with her, Debbie made us feel super comfortable and at home, feeling more like a family friend more than just our photographer. She has a great knack for getting the best shots and captures authentic feeling in her photos. She was so good at helping us relax in our photos (which was great for me as a notorious camera-shy guy). Debbie will be our first call for any professional photography in the future and we 110% recommend her!

They were extremely organized regarding pre-planning of what photos to take but also were responsive to the environment and any day of ideas. We would work with them again without hesitation.

After being around weddings for years, I've found my place in specializing in intimate weddings, where I aim to encapsulate the distinct essence of every couple's love story through my lens. From the quiet glances to the joyous tears, having had the privilege to witness and immortalize numerous heartfelt moments, I'm dedicated to ensuring that your wedding day is documented in a way that resonates profoundly with your unique journey together.

Dayna is so great! She has such an incredible eye for photos and has a really beautiful way of catching moments. She also has a personality/demeanor that is so easy to get along with, and I really vibed with her. We got our wedding photos back in 5 weeks, and they are all absolutely GORGEOUS. She listened to what we wanted and what we were nervous for (and repeated it back to us to make sure she understood). I am so happy we booked Dayna and I wholeheartedly recommend her to other couples planning their wedding!

Clean Plate Pictures began when Erica Beckman left her fancy Photo Editor job at The Wall Street Journal to photograph happy couples full-time - guess what? Weddings are way more fun. Erica earned her degree in photography and uses her twenty years of experience in the industry to bring exacting editorial standards and creative excellence to all her work. Her documentary style captures genuine emotions and artfully records events as they unfold organically.

From the moment we booked Clean Plate Pictures, we were impressed with their communication and responsiveness. Erica was always open to our suggestions and worked closely with us to ensure they captured our day perfectly. Her impeccable attention to detail and great eye for the perfect shot were evident in every photo. She was able to herd our many relatives to make the family shoot less stressful, and even made the slightly janky Hyatt Place look elegant in the getting-ready photos. Erica was so friendly and had a strong expertise on the best shots for our venue. We were thrilled that Erica was willing to travel to New York City to shoot our engagement photos as well. We absolutely loved working with Erica (and Elle the second shoot, a dream!) and would highly recommend Clean Plate Pictures to any couple looking for professional, talented, and personable wedding photographers.

Rebecca has been working as a professional photographer for over 10 years. She began with a small film camera, taking photos at her favorite concerts. As she grew, so did her unique style and her passion. She attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco, Ca. and obtained a BA in Advertising Photography. Over the past 10 years she has had the opportunity to photograph events in places such as Portland, Or., San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Monterey, Ca., Washington DC, Florida and now New York City. She frequently travels for her photography and loves every moment.

Where do I begin... When I first started looking for a photographer I had a certain vision in mind. I didn't want the typical posed pictures for engagement/wedding pictures. I wanted someone whose work stood out and was unique. I emailed Becca as soon as I came across her work hoping she had our wedding date opened. She did! I think after like two emails back and forth I booked her, I knew she was the photographer for us, super chill and laid back. When we first met for our engagement pictures I was super nervous, my husband and I aren't photogenic at all, and personally I feel like pictures are awkward. Becca is a natural, I felt like I was hanging out with a long lost friend and she made us both feel beyond comfortable. She got our pictures back to us within a week and we were OBSESSED! Fast forward to our wedding day... Becca and her assistant Raven went above and beyond... No words can explain how happy we are with our albums. I can't wait for our future photo sessions together!

I'm a visual storyteller with a passion for capturing love in its purest form. With 10 years in the photography world and 9 years of experience in weddings, I've had the privilege of documenting countless love stories. My style is all about authenticity and emotion. I strive to freeze those genuine, fleeting moments — the laughter, the tears, the stolen glances — in a visual symphony that tells the unique tale of your love. I've always been a cheesy "lover of love." I feel lucky to document such vulnerable emotions, life-changing experiences, and really awesome parties!

Alex is AMAZING. Her photos left us in awe — I was so impressed by how she listened to my vision and adapted her style accordingly. Most of all, though, Alex excels in all things related to running a business — she’s prompt in email responses, professional with her contracts and payment process, and goes above and beyond to connect you with resources for a successful day (a last minute coordinator, in my case). This is what really sets her apart from other vendors in my opinion. Run, don’t walk, to hire Alex for your wedding!

If there is anything I'd love for you to know the most about me, it's this: I will show up for you with compassion, courage and patience (and a little unconventional when inspired). My superhero strength is to see things that you don't; capturing significant moments or your 'perfect side.' I will transform your misconceptions about how you look on camera. It's empowering. I want to do that for you. I received my BFA in fine-arts from Pratt Institute and shot my first wedding in 1992. Photomuse was founded in 2002 and has gone on to become an award-winning photography studio.

Kristin was the perfect photographer for our wedding day. From our very first interaction, Kristin was prompt, kind, clear, fun, and incredibly helpful in understanding our vision. The quality of her work is truly incredible - the photos she captured are so unique, dreamy, and magical, allowing us to relive our special day over and over. Kristin was extremely attentive and took special care to make sure we got every shot we wanted. As a non-traditional couple, we couldn't have been happier with Kristin. She is the best photographer you could ever choose for your wedding day.

My approach is rooted in a documentary style that focuses on capturing genuine, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold. Whether it's the quiet emotion of an intimate vow exchange or the energy of a packed dance floor, I’m there to observe and preserve it all with honesty and intention. From small elopements to full-scale celebrations, I pay close attention to both the subtle details and the powerful, unforgettable scenes—because every wedding has its own unique story, and my goal is to tell it truthfully through my lens

Gjagji photography was truly one of the best decisions we made for our November 2025 wedding. From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also trustworthy, honest, and genuinely fun to be around—which made such a difference on a day that can feel overwhelming. She blended seamlessly into our day, capturing the most beautiful, natural moments while also being outgoing and engaging with our guests and bridal party. Everyone loved her energy! She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and somehow managed to get every shot we had hoped for—and more. What truly stood out was her dedication. She stayed later than expected just to make sure she didn’t miss a single special moment, and her attention to detail is unmatched. You can tell she takes so much pride in her work—every single photo was thoughtfully edited to perfection. Looking back at our photos feels like reliving the entire day. She perfectly captured not just how everything looked, but how it felt. We are beyond grateful and cannot recommend her enough! I have 3 sisters and all 3 sisters can not wait to use gjagji photography for their big days!!

Vero is an absolute gem! Not only has she been a dear friend for years, but she went above and beyond to capture our wedding, even traveling to be with us in the mountains of Colorado on our special day. Her warmth, professionalism, and creative eye made everyone feel at ease, and the photos are simply breathtaking—each one tells a story and brings the day back to life. Vero has an unmatched talent for capturing both the big moments and the little, candid ones, creating timeless treasures my family and I will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a photographer who pours her heart into her work, Vero is the one!
