Steven Parker, llc is a published, award-winning, creative photography studio in the beautiful Hudson Valley, located in between Westchester and the Catskill Mountains, along the shores of the scenic Hudson River in upstate NY. Our photographers have been inside the White House, photographed presidential candidates, senators, and more than 700 weddings.

As for our style, we don’t take things too seriously. We prefer smaller, more intimate affairs. We prefer outdoor weddings, tented weddings, beach weddings and barn weddings over ballrooms. We prefer using natural light versus off camera flash. We prefer candid photography and prompting versus classical portraiture.

We used StevenParker for a wedding this past July and the work they performed was outstanding. Amazing communication. Amazing attention to detail and an absolute blast to work with. We made the right choice. Proof is in the photos and my mother-in-laws reaction. Jessica and I are very happy. Definitely recommended.

Definitely not. Images chosen for wall art and albums will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. We also offer retouching services like blemish removal, teeth whitening and loose hair removal for an additional charge. However, you should be realistic - we generally take between 3-6 thousand images at each event and we cannot edit all of them without an additional charge. It's worth noting that the vast majority of our images will be camera ready, meaning we fix things before we take the photo, like a professional should.

In my 20 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking and never missed a wedding. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, pray for me because it means I'm on my death bed, in the hospital or worse. God forbid something happens, the second photographer would have to cover the event by themselves.

Yes. Absolutely. I meet every couple before signing contracts. You're going to interview me and I'm going to do the same. If either of us get a bad vibe, it's better to know now and got our separate ways (LOL).
