“Lisa was hands down one of my top vendors for my September 2024 wedding. Ultimately when booking vendors we had two non- negotiables- affordability and character. I met with several photographers before her and either their pricing was not within our range or I didn’t feel any “connection” with them. When I met Lisa over FaceTime I was in Target with my two toddlers because I had my schedule mixed up. She laughed about it and we were able to have a productive meeting despite the mix up. I hired Lisa not long after and I am so glad I did. Besides from being a phenomenal photographer, her personality is what put the cherry on top. She is detail oriented and assertive - like myself- and had a very efficient way of photographing our bridal party where we were even able to enjoy our cocktail hour without having a first look. She was excellent and extremely patient with our two kids. Our family loved her as did we! We were even able to get her out on the dance floor for a bit! We wish we didn’t live so far away otherwise we would be using her as our photographer a whole lot. We spoke multiple times before our wedding day so that she could capture exactly what we wanted. We developed a timeline of when we'd take different photos throughout the day, and she was able to adjust accordingly. Originally we planned to take sunset photos around 8 PM. However, my husband and I were having so much fun on the dance floor that we forgot entirely. “Choosing Nina as our photographer was one of the best choices we made. From the onset she was warm, friendly, and professional. She was very responsive and available to answer all of our questions. We booked an engagement shoot before the wedding and Nina even suggested the perfect location for us to shoot. I would not consider myself to be photogenic but Nina made us feel comfortable. On our wedding day, Nina took control and made sure the day moved as we needed it to. I would not have made it through the day without her. There were some minor mishaps throughout the day and Nina quickly pivoted and found solutions. Our photos came out stunning. I asked her to avoid certain angles that I felt didn't flatter me, and she made sure to remember that on our wedding day.
