I cannot say enough good things about Blooming Hill Farm! From the stunning location, to the amazing staff, the incredible food, and the overall energy – everything was beyond what we could have dreamed of. We instantly fell in love with the beautifully curated, elegant farm setting. From the back field ceremony locations to the gorgeous white canvas, wooden-beam tent (and everything in between!), it was pure magic. We actually said yes to BHF without even trying the food first—and wow, we are still getting compliments on it from guests almost a year later! The fresh, farm-to-table dishes were absolutely unforgettable. The Staff: We were so lucky to work with Kate as our point person. Wow—she was outstanding. Having worked in the wedding industry myself, I know how rare it is to find someone like her. The attention, care, and professionalism she brought before, during, and even after our wedding was such a relief. From countless emails and planning meetings to the weekend-of setup, Kate and her team handled everything with ease. She made our day so smooth and peaceful—I truly couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. As a very DIY bride, I came in with lots of personal touches—guest book, memorial table, reception centerpieces, and more. Kate didn’t miss a beat. She and her team set everything up beautifully and brought my vision to life with so much care and thoughtfulness. I knew once I handed everything over, it was in the best possible hands. Our day was perfect. I know so many people say that, but I wholeheartedly believe Kate and the BHF team played a huge role in making it so. I cannot recommend Blooming Hill Farm, the team, and especially Kate enough!

Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the planning process and I can confidently say, choosing Swan Lake Caterers was the best decision we made. I’m so excited to write this review so other couples can have a similarly incredible experience! I looked everywhere around the tri-state area from Jersey, to Connecticut, all the boroughs (including Staten Island!!) to all over Long Island. Swan Lake Caterers was actually the first venue I visited, and I fell in love instantly. But, like many brides, I was indecisive. I kept searching, trying to be sure… and after every other tour, I kept coming back to Swan Lake in my heart, I had a feeling it was the one! And it absolutely was. The entire day was seamless, magical, and full of joy. One of the most touching things someone said to me was from my sister. She told me, “So many brides can’t enjoy their wedding day because there’s so much going on but we could see in your face how carefree and happy you were. You were truly having fun” This was in large part due to Swan Lake Caterers allowing me to focus on my husband, family and friends. They gave us peace of mind, beautiful surroundings, and the freedom to be fully present in every moment. The food was out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! Sophia and Charlie really catered to what we wanted and to our guests’ dietary needs! Including three of our vegan family members. The venue itself was picture perfect. It was elegant, romantic, and timeless! One of my guests said it looked like it was out of a Disney movie. Elena, our maitre-d worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the decor and vibe was everything we wanted. She knocked it out of the park! Even though it was a little chilly, and started to drizzle, Sophia was in contact with us in the week leading up to it, to make sure everyone was comfortable temperature wise. They were so unimaginably attentive to us! The day of, Elena made sure that even without a rehearsal everything went off without a hitch. Speaking of attentiveness, Jill, my bridal attendant, was simply amazing. She made sure we had drinks in our hand, food on our plates, helped me fix the train on my dress a million and one times. I’m pretty sure they helped one of my guests fix a ripped dress? Seriously. People said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you're thinking about getting married here, stop thinking and just say YES. I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am to Swan Lake Caterers and would love it for every other couple (and their guests) to have a similar experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Deity for our wedding. They were very organized, had great recommendations for the handful of external vendors we used, and were professional throughout our interaction. The space worked great for our 80 person wedding. There was plenty of space for our guests and we heard raving reviews about the food & cocktails. Additionally, with my mother being in a wheelchair, they were extremely accommodating and had the necessary facilities to help her navigate the event without any issues. Overall, guests loved the intimate feeling of the space, great food, great dj, great bar, everything. Would recommend if you're considering a wedding in Brooklyn!

We absolutely loved our wedding at The Sanctuary! We initially worked with Amelia and then with Arthur and Kat towards the end of our planning process. Every contact at The Sanctuary was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the space, especially having multiple different areas for guests to enjoy (the chapel for dancing/desserts, the tent for dinner/conversation, and the outdoor patio for smores!) and the beautiful NYC skyline in the background. The bridal suite where we all got ready was spacious and comfortable. I was a little nervous about the temperature in the tent during a November wedding, but it was very comfortable! We will always be grateful to The Sanctuary for our beautiful wedding!

If anyone were to ask me what my favorite part of my wedding was I’d have to say “Black Walnut Farm!” What a remarkable experience it has been to work with Sarah, Jim, Lish, Lindsey, and of course, Miss Lilly! My partner and I didn’t even bother viewing another venue because we could instantly feel how special the BWF property was — we called 30 minutes after our tour and said we were ready for the contract and deposit. Even still Black Walnut Farm far exceeded our expectations! Everything about this venue is so thoughtfully curated and managed. There is just so much care and consideration that has gone into every inch of this very special place! My partner and I decided to have a “honeymoon” week during the week of the wedding; we chose to have the extended package where we stayed on the property just the two of us. Unwinding in front of the fireplace while playing chess and drinking wine was such a lovely way to relax the night before. The sunroom is the perfect place for getting ready the morning of the wedding! After our wedding (in lieu of an after party) we just asked to have the hot tub ready for us, which was the best move ever! Most importantly, the BWF team were so kind and patient, cool and collected. In the face of some extreme family drama and chaotic spring weather they always rolled with the punches. I felt that I could trust them fully and always felt safe and cared for. I was not afraid to defer to their expertise in the midst of the chaos, and I do not regret any of those decisions! In fact, the backup rain plan ended up being better than the original plan! Thank you again, Black Walnut Farm. You have created something so very, very special and we will be eternally grateful!

We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at Brooklyn Winery, and I can’t rave enough about how perfect everything was! From the moment we stepped into the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our big day. The ambiance at Brooklyn Winery is absolutely stunning—charming, intimate, and full of character, with its rustic yet elegant vibe that made our wedding feel truly special. The space itself is beautiful, and we received countless compliments from our guests on how unique and unforgettable the venue was. It set the most perfect tone for the celebration. A huge shout-out to Miranda, our event manager, who was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire planning process. From our first meeting to the wedding day itself, Miranda was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. She was there every step of the way, taking care of all the little things and answering all our questions with patience and professionalism. She made sure our vision came to life seamlessly, and we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. The food was another highlight that our guests cannot stop talking about. Brooklyn Winery's culinary team knocked it out of the park, and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and truly elevated the overall experience. The pairing of food and wine was just perfect, and it felt so fitting for the venue itself. One of the things that truly sets Brooklyn Winery apart is how they take care of every detail—big and small. They made the entire planning process easy and stress-free, from the initial consultation to the final execution. Miranda and the team ensured that everything was coordinated perfectly, so we could focus on enjoying our day rather than worrying about logistics. We honestly can’t recommend Brooklyn Winery enough! Where to even begin! First off, my wife and I had a fairly large wedding for NYC, roughly 200 people, so when we started to look at venues, we were so nervous about what we would find. Rule of Thids was actually the first venue we saw, and we were blown away by the space. If you’re renting out the full venue, you get access to the entire restaurant, plus the event space, as well as the outdoor area. It makes the flow of the wedding so nice, so everyone wasn’t crammed into one space as they were trying to flip it for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We were also able to rent out the photo studio attached to the sake shop to get ready in, so we were on-site all day, which was AMAZING. We could easily discuss things with our day-of coordinator, florist, etc., and the space was so large and had impeccable light (our makeup artist and hair stylist were super happy with it!). We chose to use the venue coordinator, Julie, as our day of coordinator, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly responsive, super organized, and comes from the wedding industry, so she brought up things that we didn’t even think to consider for the day of that were so helpful. Beyond that, she was so pleasant to work with and just had an amazing, chill vibe that everyone wants from their coordinator on the wedding day. It was also amazing that she works at the venue, so she knew all the ins and outs of the space and could easily coordinate with our other vendors. She helped ensure the bridal party was in the right places at the right time, moved people from room to room when needed, and helped us stay on track with the flow of the wedding, which was perfect and so seamless. She and the ROT team set up the entire space exactly as we envisioned, and everything looked beautiful! The venue is honestly perfect for a wedding. We were able to use private dining spaces in the venue for a photobooth and coat closet, plenty of bathrooms (not something you think about until you go to a wedding with too few!), an amazing outdoor space for guests to cool down/get away from the noise, a huge dance floor area, spacious dining room, and so many bars for our guests to go to. The staff were all amazing, endlessly refilling drinks and food, and everyone was incredibly nice. Even after all of the amazing things above, the best part about Rule of Thirds is the food. From the cocktail hour to the dessert, this food is amazing and well beyond typical wedding standards. We had so many guests tell us how good everything was, and we were told this was the first wedding at the venue where every single canape and raw bar item was eaten, so our guests were very happy! (if you can, splurge on the raw bar because it was so good!!) After the ceremony, they set up a spot for us to sample all the canapes and raw bar items, which we were super thankful for since we would never have eaten anything otherwise. We also had a very specific request for a mazeman noodle dish we had eaten when we toured the space a year prior, and the chef and team made it happen for us, which was AMAZING and so incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a wedding venue and considering Rule of Thirds, DO IT! We wish we could relive the day all over again because it was so amazing, and we will forever be hoping someone else we know gets married here so we can experience something similar again.

My partner & I had looked high & low for a wedding venue that met (usually) contradictory criteria: in/around New York, affordable, communicative, chill, really really good at food, flexible, and able to coordinate the millions of tiny & large wedding details that would overwhelm me if I had to figure out myself. We figured we'd get a couple of these in some combination if were lucky. And then the clouds suddenly parted, and there was Farm to People - in short, they did it all, they checked every box, they made our wedding a dream! They made it so easy & fun to plan, they worked with our budget, and the day of was smooth and perfect and magical. We had a mostly vegan/totally vegetarian wedding, and our many skeptical guests couldn't stop talking about how incredible a meal it was; it was easily the best meal we've ever had at a wedding. I truly can't recommend Farm to People enough. 3

The Garrison itself is absolutely stunning - even more beautiful in person - and the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. Our guests are still raving about the food, and the entire space came together perfectly for both the ceremony and reception. What really made the day seamless, though, was the team that supported us. Annie, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute godsend. We were juggling unpredictable weather, miscommunications, and a whole lot of last-minute uncertainty, and she handled it all with such calm, measured grace. She kept things on track and gave us the gift of peace of mind - we truly couldn’t have done it without her. Fatima, my bridal assistant, was my right hand from the moment I arrived. My guests came up to me all night raving about the food and saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. After our tasting, we knew we made the right decision choosing the village club for our special day! The village club itself has had some new renovations which we were lucky enough to have for our wedding. The ballroom is completely updated and refinished, the building repainted, the room for cocktail hour has new carpet and refinished chairs to match, and the patio overlooking the golf course has a new permanent pergola structure that opens and closes for shade with fans to keep your guests cool! The renovations to the village club are incredible and give the venue a fresh new look! Barry and Amy really run such a smooth operation the day of the wedding. From the moment we arrived, Amy told us where to go, what to do and where we had to be. Barry and Amy provided us with drinks for the bridal suite and made sure everyone was taken care of! They both kept checking on us throughout the night to make sure we were eating, drinking and having the best night ever. If you are trying to decide where to get married, please go see Barry and Amy at the Village Club at Lake Success and book your wedding with them. I promise you it will be the best night of your life and you will get the chance to work with great people who want to do everything in their power to make your day the most special day ever! Barry and Amy are really the MVPs of the wedding! We love you both and can’t wait to follow along to see all the wonderful weddings you guys will have at the Village Club!

We had our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm, and it was truly magical and everything we could have hoped for — and more. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make our weekend unforgettable. The staff — from owners Min and Morten, to managers Lawrence and Maria, to the entire day-of team — were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so professional, kind, and genuinely caring. They weren’t just focused on the wedding details (which were executed perfectly) — they made sure we personally felt taken care of and completely at ease throughout the entire weekend. The food was exceptional — every dish was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. We received so many compliments about not just the food, but the entire staff and experience. We also loved the onsite housing and nearby accommodations, which made the day-of experience so easy and enjoyable. Having comfortable, beautiful spaces for our wedding party to stay and get ready, and in one place, created a peaceful, intimate atmosphere that made the weekend feel truly special. The property itself is stunning — from the rolling hills and serene lake views to the rustic elegance of the barn, every part of Blenheim feels magical. We can’t thank the Blenheim Hill Farm team enough for making our wedding weekend so seamless and memorable. It’s an extraordinary venue run by extraordinary people, and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a breathtaking, stress-free wedding experience!

Booking with The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm is the best thing my husband and I have ever done. We were looking to have a small intimate wedding, but every venue tour we did still had a 75-100 person minimum and required a large cost requirement for catering. Then I happened upon The Wedding Foundry when researching micro weddings. We had one phone call with Billiam and immediately signed the contract, without even viewing the venue first. As a bride, the fact that they were including the venue, the officiant, photography, florals and catering was the best thing ever. It took so much stress off of me while planning this wedding, as I did not have to run around to different vendors. Billiam and Erica were extremely communicative and really took the time to learn what we were looking for. Day of, Billiam and his day of coordinator Cathy made sure the day ran perfectly. We were absolutely blown away from how beautiful our venue was. The florals they created made our wedding look like a fairy tale. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Erica was an absolute pro with photography, really taking her time with my husband and I for our portraits. Throughout the night she made sure to capture every moment. Erica sent teasers to us within a week of our wedding and the photos are beautiful. The officiant, Michele, was amazing. She created the most personalized and beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. We loved how she included a hand-fasting ceremony as well. Multiple guests approached us to let us know that there was not a single dry eye during our ceremony. The Wedding Foundry truly created our perfect day. We are so happy with our intimate wedding, we had 46 of our closest friends and family and everyone truly enjoyed the day. I highly recommend booking The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm for your intimate wedding.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Threes Brewing in Gowanus. From the very beginning, Angie and Dave, the coordinators, were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and proactive, thinking of every detail so we didn't have to (Angie even kept an eye on the Doppler for us!). They likened themselves to built in Planner, and they delivered! On the night of the wedding, the amazing staff, including Fletcher, Sarah, and countless others, made sure we were fed and taken care of far beyond closing time. They were not only professional but also genuinely fun, leaning into our theme and even dancing along with us. The space itself was exactly what we envisioned. The backyard was a beautiful, intimate setting for our ceremony with its gorgeous greenery, while the main bar provided a perfect, open yet cozy aesthetic for our welcome drinks and dancing. The flow between the two spaces felt seamless and comfortable for all our guests. And the food! Our guests are still raving about the delicious meal from Grand Army. The mac and cheese, chicken, and mapo tofu were all incredible, and they easily accommodated every dietary need we had. If you're looking for a unique, all-inclusive, and genuinely fun wedding venue in Brooklyn with an expert team, look no further than Threes Brewing. We highly recommend them!

It’s perfect for engagement parties, small wedding receptions, welcome parties, and after-parties.

Where to begin...from the first time we met with Angie (the events director) all the way to our wedding day, she and the rest of the staff blew right past any expectations we could ever have and literally delivered our dream wedding. Our guests raved about how much fun they had and it cannot be overstated how much of that is due to the incredible atmosphere of the venue and the amazing people working there. They just made everything so easy. It goes without saying that Threes has top-notch beers, wine and cocktails that kept us and our guests very happy, but we have to give a special shoutout to THE FOOD. We opted for the Gotham Smash Burger (with an option for an Impossible patty for vegetarian/vegan guests) as our entree and I had multiple people tell me it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, the best kale caesar salad they'd ever had period, and one of the vegetarian guests told me it was the best veggie burger she'd ever had in her life. Threes at Franklin Kent could not have been a more perfect place for our wedding. If you are looking for a laid-back yet elevated and romantic Brooklyn brewery vibe for your special day, look no further. They will take superb care of you!

My daughter chose Valentine’s weekend for her wedding event to memorialize my husband and my epic snowstorm some 40 odd years ago- luckily for her the evening of our meet the family at Radio Star Glasserie was just a dusting of white- just enough for her fairy tale story to start- the lighting was warm and inviting and Emily had answered all of our questions beforehand. The staff when we arrived all snowflaked was well prepared and accommodating for our gift table and family of 50. The food was plentiful and very delicious and the flow of service to event timing was just perfect- everyone enjoyed their visit and I can’t say enough about how good we all felt about it when it was time to say good night. Sheer happiness and glow from the evening and they were all there to provide that.

I had my wedding reception at Hamilton Loft and I am happy to say that this venue is perfect and we loved every minute of our wedding! The owner, Steve, is kind and attentive, ready to answer any questions and was willing to show us around the space multiple times. I had some details that I really wanted and sent Steve a neurotically long email about them and he graciously took care of everything I asked— all was perfect day of. Hamilton Loft has beautiful lounge furniture that was perfect for our cocktail hour, and a chic main space with room for dinner and dancing, as well as buffet tables. The drinks packages include some incredible cocktails and bartenders— everyone loved our bar and was very impressed by our options. There is also a manned coat room and lounges for the married couple, which was nice to take a break from the festivities when needed. All in all we had a stellar experience in this beautiful space. I would recommend Hamilton Loft as an event space for anyone!

We cannot express enough how much we absolutely loved our experience at this venue. From the moment we first walked in, we knew it was the perfect fit for us—not just as a couple, but for our entire family. It felt like “us” in every way, and that feeling carried through our entire wedding day. A huge part of our relief and confidence came from working with Tricia and Marty. From day one, they made everything feel effortless. Tricia, especially, was like having a built-in, experienced professional right by our side—part planner, part partner, and part friend. Her advice, suggestions, and calming presence were invaluable. We always felt supported, understood, and in the best hands possible. Our guests are still raving about the venue, the experience and the bonfire! We received so many compliments on the atmosphere, the beauty of the space, and the seamless flow of the day. Everywhere we turned, someone was telling us how magical everything felt—and we couldn’t agree more. The entire experience was everything we hoped for and so much more. We will forever look back with gratitude and the fondest memories of a day that was truly perfect. This venue, and the people who run it, gave us the best start to our married life, and we couldn’t be more thankful!

Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! We are so grateful for the beautiful wedding that Allie and Kurt helped us to plan and host at Osmica at Spring Trail Farm! Throughout the planning process, Allie was incredibly communicative, organized, and attentive to our vision. She is extremely creative and helped us to bring all of our ideas to life! Allie also has many relationships and experience with local vendors, and was able to make recommendations and introductions to folks. Allie also helpfully reminded us about key tasks over time to keep us on track, which we greatly appreciated! The venue itself is incredibly beautiful – there are walking paths through wildflowers, an impressive garden that supplied our floral arrangements and a lovely breakfast on our wedding day (both of which Allie and Kurt made for us), a beautiful farmhouse where we stayed the nights before and after and got ready in (which made logistics much easier), and scenic views. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’re even grateful to have been rained out of the outdoor ceremony that we planned – the hayloft is gorgeous and made for a dramatic backdrop. We would get married at Osmica and hire Allie again in a heartbeat. We can’t wait to visit again in the years to come :) Huge thanks to Kelsey Travis for these photos: https://www.facebook.com/kelseytravisphoto/ https://www.instagram.com/kelseytravisphoto/
