My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.

Mountainville made our wedding absolutely AMAZING! Lauren, James, and their team were incredible from start to finish - always so helpful, organized, knew what they were doing, filled in our gaps, and just made the whole thing so easy. We didn't hire a wedding planner, and it was totally doable to plan our wedding ourselves with Lauren on our team acting as Day-of-Coordinator. Their packages were great and SUCH a good deal for what we got. We received numerous comments stating that our wedding was great (some even called it the "best wedding ever!"), and Mountainville is definitely the reason why - the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the staff was attentive and helpful throughout the night, and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Not to mention that the food was absolutely amazing, and there was plenty of it! I wholeheartedly recommend Mountainville Manor to any couple planning their wedding!

Our wedding at Deity Brooklyn in June 2024 was absolutely magical! I would 100% recommend Deity to anyone looking for a unique, all-inclusive wedding venue in NYC. From the up-front pricing information, to the first tour with Caio, to securing our date, coming in for a menu tasting and having our planning meeting with Anna and Kat - every step of the way reinforced my confidence that choosing Deity as our wedding venue was the right choice! The space is a beautiful historic building that's been converted to a four story (plus rooftop!) party venue. I loved that Deity provides all the dinnerware, linens and candles, it really limited the decisions we had to make so we could focus on personal touches for our day. We wanted our wedding to feel like an amazing house party, which Deity perfectly delivered. Anna was an incredible coordinator, so on top of everything and thoughtful. The day-of team ran everything so smoothly - I honestly wasn't stressed for a moment, because everyone was organized, calm and clearly loves what they do. The chef and DJ (part of the all-inclusive pricing!) were also amazing. Our guests are still raving about the delicious family-style dinner from the mind of Chef James; and how DJ BenHaMeen read the room and kept us dancing and singing until the wee hours of the morning. We absolutely loved our wedding at The Sanctuary! We initially worked with Amelia and then with Arthur and Kat towards the end of our planning process. Every contact at The Sanctuary was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the space, especially having multiple different areas for guests to enjoy (the chapel for dancing/desserts, the tent for dinner/conversation, and the outdoor patio for smores!) and the beautiful NYC skyline in the background. The bridal suite where we all got ready was spacious and comfortable. I was a little nervous about the temperature in the tent during a November wedding, but it was very comfortable! We will always be grateful to The Sanctuary for our beautiful wedding!

The Gallagher is even more beautiful in person. Jenna and her team were so extremely helpful. They not only set up all the decorations to your exact vision, but also take them down at the end of the night which makes it so nice for friends and family to just be able to enjoy the evening and not worry about cleanup. Brooklyn Winery was the first venue that we looked at and we immediately knew that it was the perfect fit for us. The space is absolutely beautiful and has the perfect layout for a wedding. The greenery wall was the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony. We also loved the skylights and all of the fun lighting fixtures throughout the space, which made for such a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We also had wonderful interactions with every single person that we worked with at Brooklyn Winery. Our first conversation and venue tour with Tatiana was extremely informative and helped to answer all of the questions that we had. This made us feel comfortable in our decision to choose Brooklyn Winery for our wedding. We got to meet more of the venue staff during our tasting and all of them were so kind to us. Everyone came over to introduce themselves and get to know us. We had dinner at the restaurant after our final walkthrough and were able to see some of the venue staff from the tasting, who remembered us and happily accommodated our dietary restrictions. And most importantly, we absolutely LOVED working with our Event Manager, Marissa Allain! Marissa was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, providing quick responses to all of our questions. She kept us organized and thought through every little detail so that everything would run smoothly on the day of the wedding. Marissa helped us feel at ease throughout the whole process of wedding planning. She was so warm, genuine, and thoughtful and we feel so lucky to have had her as our event manager. We don’t know how we could have done it without her. The food was also a highlight of having a wedding at Brooklyn Winery. We had several guests with food allergies / dietary restrictions including dairy free, gluten free, pescatarian, vegetarian, and more. Brooklyn Winery was able to help us modify the dishes that selected to accommodate all of these dietary restrictions and make sure that there would be something for everybody to enjoy. And the food was delicious! We were blown away at how good it was and received countless compliments from friends and family. Thank you to the Brooklyn Winery team for helping us have a beautiful wedding that we will remember for the rest of our lives :)!

Our wedding weekend at Black Walnut Farm was nothing short of extraordinary. I had always dreamed of more than just a single day or a few hours of celebration. I imagined a full weekend surrounded by our favorite people, celebrating a love I had hoped for my entire life. Black Walnut Farm made that dream a reality in the most magical way. My fiancé and I got engaged in June 2024 and waited until August to begin planning so we could savor being engaged. Black Walnut Farm was our first venue visit. During their open house, we explored the property while enjoying signature cocktails and bites, and we immediately felt at home meeting Jim. His warmth, charisma, and genuine spirit set the tone for everything that followed. The estate is breathtaking. Acres of beauty, an enchanting forest, whimsical gardens, and a farmhouse filled with stunning, eclectic antiques. Within minutes, we knew our search was over. As we left, Jim smiled, saying he could tell we had found “the one.” The planning process was seamless and stress-free. As someone who goes with the flow, I was amazed by how organized and supportive the team was. Timelines, documents, and communication were clear and thoughtful. Sarah, co-owner and Jim’s partner, made the experience effortless. While the venue is largely a la carte, Sarah provides a curated list of trusted vendors so you never feel lost. Together, Sarah and Jim are an unmatched team. We chose the weekend package, allowing us and six guests to stay in the farmhouse from Thursday through Monday. Walking in felt like stepping into a dream. We were greeted with a handwritten card, a charcuterie board, and champagne. Fresh banana bread, muffins, and cookies were displayed, the refrigerator stocked with snacks, drinks, and s’mores essentials, and a bar cart held homemade old fashioneds. Every room included robes and fresh water by the bedside, and fireplaces were ready with stacked firewood. Our honeymoon suite was spacious and cozy, with its own fireplace, sitting area, and clawfoot tub. Black Walnut Farm even created a custom flag with our names and named a tree in our honor, a meaningful and unforgettable touch. On Friday evening, we hosted our rehearsal dinner for fifty-five guests in the barn, which perfectly blends rustic elegance with antique details and warmth. The staff’s pride and attention to detail were evident, and Jim, Sarah, or Lindsey were always nearby to ensure everything ran smoothly. After dinner, my bridesmaids and I returned to the farmhouse for a cozy night by the fire watching Father of the Bride. Our wedding day was pure magic. We got ready together in a sun-filled room, sharing laughter and happy tears. We exchanged vows in the forest, a fairytale setting. The celebration continued in the barn with cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and dessert. Guests loved the barn loft, complete with a photo booth and a phone for leaving messages. Although the weather prevented our planned bonfire hour, Sarah and Jim graciously extended our time in the barn, ensuring the night remained just as special. This weekend was the best experience of our lives. Our friends and family still talk about how incredible it was. We are endlessly grateful to Sarah, Jim, Miss Lily, and the entire Black Walnut Farm team for creating a wedding weekend we will cherish forever.

Our experience with Farm to People was nothing short of perfect. The very beginning of our NYC venue search was somewhat disappointing; we had a unique, sorta non-traditional vision for our wedding and had trouble finding a venue that could help us properly execute on that vision. Our wedding day exceeded our expectations! Everyone raved about the food, both at cocktail hour and dinner, as well as the service provided. Everyone was extremely professional and attentive to detail. Any special requests we had were met during our reception. Drinks were great and the dessert parade was beyond! From the outside, starting on the golf course, landscaping, the patio outside of the ballroom, to the building itself, there are so many different backdrops to choose from for photos. We wish we could go back in time and have our wedding all over again. We hope to be guests at The Village Club at Lake Success one day. 10/10 would recommend!

The owner of the restaurant, Bruno, gave us our first tour, the wedding and event coordinator Meryl helped us to plan every detail of an all-inclusive wedding and we were beyond satisfied every step of the way. Likewise, Meryl and her staff were responsive, kind, understanding, and patient with our persistent communication and innumerable questions. Holding to French tradition - they offered incomparable food and drink options, including options for vegan guests, and offered a variety of ways to reach the food and beverage minimum, like additional desserts and wine pairings. On our wedding day, Meryl and her team were at our sides when we needed them and taking care of everything else such as setting up our unconventional guest book, and ensuring that we kept on pace with our wedding day schedule so we didn’t worry about it. Bacchus Bistro offers unparalleled value, incredible familial service, and a neighborhood or backyard ambiance that made it an easy choice for my wife and I. Their food and drinks are truly incredible, change seasonally, and will always leave you dreaming for the next time you can return. We have a special place in our hearts for Bacchus. So much so that when we returned a year later to celebrate our anniversary, Meryl and Francois greeted us by name, wished us a happy anniversary, and helped us to celebrate even while they were hosting another wedding.

The Garrison itself is absolutely stunning - even more beautiful in person - and the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. We were juggling unpredictable weather, miscommunications, and a whole lot of last-minute uncertainty, and she handled it all with such calm, measured grace. She kept things on track and gave us the gift of peace of mind - we truly couldn’t have done it without her. Fatima, my bridal assistant, was my right hand from the moment I arrived. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask - always three steps ahead, always composed, always kind. I felt fully taken care of, which is exactly what every bride hopes for. Where to even begin! First off, my wife and I had a fairly large wedding for NYC, roughly 200 people, so when we started to look at venues, we were so nervous about what we would find. Rule of Thids was actually the first venue we saw, and we were blown away by the space. If you’re renting out the full venue, you get access to the entire restaurant, plus the event space, as well as the outdoor area. It makes the flow of the wedding so nice, so everyone wasn’t crammed into one space as they were trying to flip it for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We were also able to rent out the photo studio attached to the sake shop to get ready in, so we were on-site all day, which was AMAZING. We could easily discuss things with our day-of coordinator, florist, etc., and the space was so large and had impeccable light (our makeup artist and hair stylist were super happy with it!). We chose to use the venue coordinator, Julie, as our day of coordinator, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly responsive, super organized, and comes from the wedding industry, so she brought up things that we didn’t even think to consider for the day of that were so helpful. Beyond that, she was so pleasant to work with and just had an amazing, chill vibe that everyone wants from their coordinator on the wedding day. It was also amazing that she works at the venue, so she knew all the ins and outs of the space and could easily coordinate with our other vendors. She helped ensure the bridal party was in the right places at the right time, moved people from room to room when needed, and helped us stay on track with the flow of the wedding, which was perfect and so seamless. She and the ROT team set up the entire space exactly as we envisioned, and everything looked beautiful! The venue is honestly perfect for a wedding. We were able to use private dining spaces in the venue for a photobooth and coat closet, plenty of bathrooms (not something you think about until you go to a wedding with too few!), an amazing outdoor space for guests to cool down/get away from the noise, a huge dance floor area, spacious dining room, and so many bars for our guests to go to. The staff were all amazing, endlessly refilling drinks and food, and everyone was incredibly nice. Even after all of the amazing things above, the best part about Rule of Thirds is the food. From the cocktail hour to the dessert, this food is amazing and well beyond typical wedding standards. We had so many guests tell us how good everything was, and we were told this was the first wedding at the venue where every single canape and raw bar item was eaten, so our guests were very happy! (if you can, splurge on the raw bar because it was so good!!) After the ceremony, they set up a spot for us to sample all the canapes and raw bar items, which we were super thankful for since we would never have eaten anything otherwise. We also had a very specific request for a mazeman noodle dish we had eaten when we toured the space a year prior, and the chef and team made it happen for us, which was AMAZING and so incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a wedding venue and considering Rule of Thirds, DO IT! We wish we could relive the day all over again because it was so amazing, and we will forever be hoping someone else we know gets married here so we can experience something similar again.

If you want to have an upscale barn wedding that is a highly memorable affair this is absolutely the venue for you! The food is amazing, the staff is on top of everything (shoutout to Rosie!), and the setting is gorgeous. Booking with The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm is the best thing my husband and I have ever done. We were looking to have a small intimate wedding, but every venue tour we did still had a 75-100 person minimum and required a large cost requirement for catering. Then I happened upon The Wedding Foundry when researching micro weddings. We had one phone call with Billiam and immediately signed the contract, without even viewing the venue first. As a bride, the fact that they were including the venue, the officiant, photography, florals and catering was the best thing ever. It took so much stress off of me while planning this wedding, as I did not have to run around to different vendors. Billiam and Erica were extremely communicative and really took the time to learn what we were looking for. Day of, Billiam and his day of coordinator Cathy made sure the day ran perfectly. We were absolutely blown away from how beautiful our venue was. The florals they created made our wedding look like a fairy tale. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Erica was an absolute pro with photography, really taking her time with my husband and I for our portraits. Throughout the night she made sure to capture every moment. Erica sent teasers to us within a week of our wedding and the photos are beautiful. The officiant, Michele, was amazing. She created the most personalized and beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. We loved how she included a hand-fasting ceremony as well. Multiple guests approached us to let us know that there was not a single dry eye during our ceremony. The Wedding Foundry truly created our perfect day. We are so happy with our intimate wedding, we had 46 of our closest friends and family and everyone truly enjoyed the day. I highly recommend booking The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm for your intimate wedding.

Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the planning process and I can confidently say, choosing Swan Lake Caterers was the best decision we made. I’m so excited to write this review so other couples can have a similarly incredible experience! I looked everywhere around the tri-state area from Jersey, to Connecticut, all the boroughs (including Staten Island!!) to all over Long Island. Swan Lake Caterers was actually the first venue I visited, and I fell in love instantly. But, like many brides, I was indecisive. I kept searching, trying to be sure… and after every other tour, I kept coming back to Swan Lake in my heart, I had a feeling it was the one! And it absolutely was. The entire day was seamless, magical, and full of joy. One of the most touching things someone said to me was from my sister. She told me, “So many brides can’t enjoy their wedding day because there’s so much going on but we could see in your face how carefree and happy you were. You were truly having fun” This was in large part due to Swan Lake Caterers allowing me to focus on my husband, family and friends. They gave us peace of mind, beautiful surroundings, and the freedom to be fully present in every moment. The food was out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! Sophia and Charlie really catered to what we wanted and to our guests’ dietary needs! Including three of our vegan family members. The venue itself was picture perfect. It was elegant, romantic, and timeless! One of my guests said it looked like it was out of a Disney movie. Elena, our maitre-d worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the decor and vibe was everything we wanted. She knocked it out of the park! Even though it was a little chilly, and started to drizzle, Sophia was in contact with us in the week leading up to it, to make sure everyone was comfortable temperature wise. They were so unimaginably attentive to us! The day of, Elena made sure that even without a rehearsal everything went off without a hitch. Speaking of attentiveness, Jill, my bridal attendant, was simply amazing. She made sure we had drinks in our hand, food on our plates, helped me fix the train on my dress a million and one times. I’m pretty sure they helped one of my guests fix a ripped dress? Seriously. People said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you're thinking about getting married here, stop thinking and just say YES. I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am to Swan Lake Caterers and would love it for every other couple (and their guests) to have a similar experience!

Once me and my then fiancé now husband, saw this venue for the first time we knew we didn't need to look any further!! Everything from the farmhouse, the barn, to the ceremony sight is absolute perfection! Not to mention the wonderful staff!!! You can feel how much everyone genuinely cares about making sure your special day goes off with out a hitch! Threes Brewing turned out to be the perfect venue for our under-45k wedding! If you’re looking to support a local business, look no further. Threes was so much more all-inclusive than we could have dreamed. Their Gowanus courtyard of flourishing vines and hops blooms is practically ready to go, especially since tables, linens, dishes, cutlery, and chairs are included. Grand Army is the on- site culinary vendor. You literally can’t go wrong picking dishes; our guests all went back for second helpings. Angie Hansen and Dave May (Threes’ event specialists and coordinators) were supportive and affirming at every turn. On the day of, I didn’t have to think about our schedule or logistics one bit. Angie and the Threes staff took care of everything flawlessly. My wife, our families, our friends, and I had so much fun.

My daughter chose Valentine’s weekend for her wedding event to memorialize my husband and my epic snowstorm some 40 odd years ago- luckily for her the evening of our meet the family at Radio Star Glasserie was just a dusting of white- just enough for her fairy tale story to start- the lighting was warm and inviting and Emily had answered all of our questions beforehand. The staff when we arrived all snowflaked was well prepared and accommodating for our gift table and family of 50. The food was plentiful and very delicious and the flow of service to event timing was just perfect- everyone enjoyed their visit and I can’t say enough about how good we all felt about it when it was time to say good night. Sheer happiness and glow from the evening and they were all there to provide that.

Where to begin...from the first time we met with Angie (the events director) all the way to our wedding day, she and the rest of the staff blew right past any expectations we could ever have and literally delivered our dream wedding. Our guests raved about how much fun they had and it cannot be overstated how much of that is due to the incredible atmosphere of the venue and the amazing people working there. They just made everything so easy. It goes without saying that Threes has top-notch beers, wine and cocktails that kept us and our guests very happy, but we have to give a special shoutout to THE FOOD. We opted for the Gotham Smash Burger (with an option for an Impossible patty for vegetarian/vegan guests) as our entree and I had multiple people tell me it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, the best kale caesar salad they'd ever had period, and one of the vegetarian guests told me it was the best veggie burger she'd ever had in her life. Threes at Franklin Kent could not have been a more perfect place for our wedding. If you are looking for a laid-back yet elevated and romantic Brooklyn brewery vibe for your special day, look no further. They will take superb care of you!

We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!

Osmica at Spring Trail Farm was the most magical venue for our wedding weekend. Allie and Kurt are so kind, thoughtful, welcoming, and skilled, and worked with us to make our wedding day, and the whole weekend, so special. Being able to stay on site the whole weekend allowed us to have so much quality time with our friends and family from the rehearsal dinner to farewell breakfast, and times by the fire at night. The farmhouse breakfast was delicious, and thoughtfully planned to accommodate our wide range of dietary restrictions. Allie did an unbelievably beautiful job with the flowers and we are still getting compliments on them! She made every single arrangement with us in mind and they came out absolutely gorgeous. Allie and Kurt were both super helpful in coordinating with vendors as they arrived which made everything so easy. In addition to the wedding ceremony and reception, we hosted a rehearsal dinner and a farewell breakfast on site and Allie and Kurt helped everything run so smoothly. We ended up with absolutely perfect weather the whole weekend, but Allie was great about talking through different options with us in case it was cold or rainy. We did rent a tent heater for the barn since it was late October, which was great for peace of mind and easy to turn on or off if we needed. We love how focused on sustainability the venue is, and that we could really plan a wedding that reflected our values and our love of the area and of nature, and that was unique to us. There is so much room to make it your own. Allie worked with us throughout the planning process, answering questions, offering ideas, and sharing excellent vendor recommendations. She made sure to set up multiple check in times, but was also available to answer our random emails as things came up. Again, I wholeheartedly recommend Osmica, the venue is so special and Allie and skirt are truly such kind, warm, wonderful people. Thank you, Allie and Kurt for a dream weekend. We feel so lucky to have gotten to know you both, to enjoy the farm for the weekend (and through your flowers and produce anytime we visited), and to have had the most magical day for our wedding. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the place where we wanted to celebrate our special day. I have to be honest, it did not start off with the best communication from the original person in charge of my wedding at the venue. I’m not sure if she didn’t know what she was doing or just didn’t care. Thankfully it was transferred into someone else’s care. Once Colleen and Kim took over the communication and planning, the staff at City Winery Hudson Valley were nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the final send-off. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail from these two women and their team made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We truly felt like royalty on our special day! The reception space was elegantly decorated, with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. Our guests loved the unique layout and how everything felt both intimate and grand at the same time.
