About this venue
The Village Club at Lake Success sits on the edge of the pristine Lake Success with breathtaking views of tranquil waters and lush foliage. We invite you to celebrate your wedding against a backdrop of Spanish-deco architecture and impeccably manicured property. From the outdoor patios overlooking the golf course to the terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows just yards away from the lake, the views are stunning no matter the season. Indulge in an exclusive country club atmosphere that is also conveniently located less than 20 miles from New York City and easily accessible to all points on Long Island.

The Terraces
The epitome of an indoor/outdoor venue, the Village Club at Lake Success features two spacious terraces. The large terrace just outside the cocktail hour space shows off our state-of-the-art golf course and invites your guests to enjoy their delicious cocktail hour fare while taking in the views. Our second terrace, located directly off the ballroom, is a favorite amongst our couples. With both lakeside and golf course views, it is the ideal location for a beautiful ceremony or al fresco dining.
The Ballroom
Dark wood flooring, suede wall coverings, a faux exposed brick wall and floor-ceiling-windows, you will be transported from a country club to a Manhattan loft in the blink of an eye. With a capacity of over 300, you can host your nearest and dearest (and then some!) in our beautiful luxurious event space.

The Grill Room
Restaurant by day, sleek event space by night! Recently renovated, the grill room is the perfect setting for an intimate gathering, dinner party or corporate event. Our wedding day exceeded our expectations! Everyone raved about the food, both at cocktail hour and dinner, as well as the service provided. Everyone was extremely professional and attentive to detail. Any special requests we had were met during our reception. Drinks were great and the dessert parade was beyond! From the outside, starting on the golf course, landscaping, the patio outside of the ballroom, to the building itself, there are so many different backdrops to choose from for photos. We wish we could go back in time and have our wedding all over again. We hope to be guests at The Village Club at Lake Success one day. 10/10 would recommend!
Unbelieveable night
The Village Club At Lake Success was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the planning stages to the day-of details, Barry and Amy were hands-on, sensitive to our needs, and highly responsive. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from bustling the gown to packing up our items at the end of the night. The quality of their work was exceptional - the sushi upgrade and skirt steak dinner choice were exceptionally delicious, the outdoor ceremony overlooking the beautiful sunset was breathtaking, and the brick wall inside provided a chic, country club-meets-Manhattan vibe. The signature cocktails and bridge photos were also wonderful personal touches that made our day truly special. We are so grateful to the entire team at The Village Club At Lake Success for helping to make our wedding day perfect. Highly recommend!!!
My Dream Wedding at the VCLS — 9/6/25
From the moment I walked into VCLS, I knew this was the place where I wanted to have my wedding. The ballroom and grounds are absolutely stunning, and there was more than enough room for our 200 guests. Even though it rained, there were gorgeous indoor photo opportunities — we can’t wait to see the professional shots! Most of our vendors had worked here before and were excited to be back. Communication with Barry and Amy was seamless. They reassured me when I had questions, answered emails quickly, and even made my heart-shaped challah dream a reality. It’s the little touches that matter! Barry made this part of wedding planning stress free and he sure knows how to run a venue. Not to mention, he is very flexible and accommodating. Guests are still raving about the food and drinks. We had amazing options like the foodtini station, tacos, passed tomato soup & grilled cheese, and exit stations which included popcorn, cookies, and pretzels. It was a hard decision on what to choose for the food since there were so many options and we saw this first hand at the food tasting! The entire VCLS staff was incredible, making sure every guest felt taken care of all night. A special thank you to Amy, who was by my side from 3 PM until midnight and who fixed my dress just an hour into the reception when the bustle broke (she fixed it in half a second!). The next day, she also sent me 300 photos so we could revisit before we got the professional photos back. Amy had everything under control from the minute we stepped foot into the venue the day of the wedding and she was also there for my bridesmaids if they needed anything. I HIGHLY recommend VCLS!!! I’m sad my wedding day is over but I am so happy I chose this venue. 1000000/10!!
Perfect for a large summer wedding
Barry and Amy Rosenthal and their team at the Village Club of Lake Success were incredible to work with. They’re deeply knowledgeable and run their operation like a well-oiled machine. My husband and I held a 290-person multi-cultural wedding — Chinese, Filipino, and American, which came with many considerations. Barry and Amy were flexible and worked with us on specific requests: curating the menu to appeal to our guests’ tastes (more seafood and fruit), family-style dinner approach, ensuring our menu-placecards were placed exactly as we intended, etc. They even understood last-minute changes to the guest-count (like the day before!). We didn’t hold the Tea Ceremony at the venue, but that was an option. Misc. tips and callouts: - Ask about exclusive vendors and budget for those required (lighting and valet) - Hold a rehearsal meeting WITH Barry & Amy so they know how the day should go (important especially as they handle vendor coordination on your behalf) - Guests are not allowed on the lawn as it’s a private golf course so communicate that ahead of time or else they’ll get reminded the day-of, which didn’t create the most positive guest experience who were just looking to take beautiful photos Overall, the Village Club was beautiful, spacious, well-air conditioned (our wedding was in July), food and drinks were great according to our guests; we’d recommend this venue to anyone!
