Candid, timeless wedding photography based in Vacaville, serving Sacramento, the Bay Area, and Napa Valley. ✨ Hi! I'm Katja, pronounced like Kuh-TEE-uh, which is where kuhteeuh imagery comes from. I'm a wedding photographer for couples who want both the real, unscripted moments and the beautiful portraits. My style is natural and timeless with a fine art feel. I love golden hour light, genuine emotion, and all the little in between moments you'll want to remember forever. I'm based in Vacaville and photograph weddings all over Northern California, including the Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento. I love to travel and shoot destination weddings, too.

I photograph weddings in a candid, documentary style, so your day feels like your day, not a photo shoot. I will guide you into poses that feel natural, then step back and catch the real moments in between. I do not hijack your timeline, I deliver on time, and you get sneak peek photos within 48 hours and a hand-edited gallery in 1 to 2 weeks.     Such an amazing person to work. So creative and pays attention to the little details. Like your hair in the face or your collar is messed up, she notices those little things and adjusts right before taking the pic. Made me so comfortable to work with her.

The first step is to initiate a conversation by filling out the inquiry form.
A signed agreement and a retainer are required to officially archive your date on my calendar.
To maintain the integrity of the artistry, I do not release the unedited RAW files. You will receive a fully finished, high-resolution digital gallery.
I prioritize a curated gallery of your most special moments, while showing the whole story. Typically, this results in around 20-30 curated frames per hour of coverage. I capture all the details I see (e.g., the big moments, the centerpieces, the shoes, bridesmaids laughing, grandma crying) as well as any must-have shots on your list.
Yes! Ask me about adding video content creation or any other video to your package!
Yes! I can help you pose as well as capture all the candid moments in between.
