“Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing. It felt like he'd known for years, always hitting the right classic hit, the right remix, the right memory moments. He was such a kind and lovely man too. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!”

From the very first meeting, he was an absolute pleasure to work with: professional, easygoing, and genuinely passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. The dance party was one of the parts of our wedding I was most looking forward to (besides actually getting married, of course), and Chris completely delivered. We built out our song preferences for each part of the night using the Vibo app, which made the process fun and incredibly easy. Chris has just about every song imaginable in his library. And if he doesn’t, he’ll find it. He was even able to edit songs to fit perfectly for our parent dances, which was such a thoughtful touch. He also handled the ceremony sound setup for a small additional (and very fair) charge, and everything sounded flawless from start to finish. Chris gave us the freedom to express ourselves through our music and MC preferences, but when it came time to keep the energy flowing, he took charge and executed our vision perfectly. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). All around an amazing job and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun DJ who isn’t afraid to lend a hand and help get the job done, even if it’s a bit out of his job description. Thank you!”

“My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! Thank you to all of you for making our wedding day so memorable and fun!!”

The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it.
