I started as a full-time nightclub DJ and after a decade transitioned to weddings. To date I've entertained 1000+ weddings to prepare for your celebration. Many of my past clients have described me as "the most un-wedding DJ, wedding DJ there is." I don’t conform to the typical stereotypes that may lurk in your nightmares after you attended bad weddings. This includes an exaggerated voice, a bunch of inflatable props, and I do not impose line dances and tacky clichés. I focus on ensuring that your plan for the day is solid and that you are confident I understand what is expected of me. I am your DJ, your MC, and your quality control planner.

It is not lost on me that there is abundant entertainment to choose from when choosing the right company for one of the biggest days of your life. So, how do you find the right DJ for you? That comes down to one word. VALUE. What do you value the most? We should talk if you value the highest quality for your dollar and the reputation of the person you're hiring. I don't want to be a disc jockey sent to your wedding just to play songs, and whatever happens, happens. I see this more as a collaboration. You feed me the details of your vision, and I will use my experience and expertise to bring them to fruition.

So Much More Than "Just a DJ"!

Where to start... Michael Kane was so much more than we expected, and we couldn't be happier. I was very picky about all of our vendors, and I'll admit I was nervous about our DJ as well. Would he understand our unique music taste? Would he make sure our guests could hear our vows during the ceremony? Would he be able to read the vibe of the room and maintain a good flow of music to keep all of our guests happy? Well, he went above and beyond in every respect. While my wife and I were nervous wrecks for the entire day, he was there as a kind and supporting presence to make sure we had nothing to worry about. Before the ceremony even started, he gave our rookie Officiant some sage advice that helped calm her nerves. For the ceremony he brought his own (personal) pro speaker system that made sure every guest could hear every word from our officiant and us. He understood our music taste so perfectly that I don't think my wife left the dance floor once. When we found out (mid-reception!) that we could play music beyond the original ending time, he worked with us to extend his schedule to give us the perfect ending to the night. He did ALL THAT while still finding time to take some awesome candid shots of us (that's me, clearly enjoying the song, in the attached picture). Ultimately, DJ Michael Kane handled his job perfectly with professionalism, charisma, kindness, and swagger. I've honestly never been happier to write a review.

DJ Michael Kane was an absolute professional who helped make our wedding day truly special. From the very first time we spoke, he was incredibly easy to reach and always responsive to our needs. His charisma and knowledge of music allowed him to expertly set the tone throughout the evening - he knew just the right songs to play during dinner that had all our guests commenting on how much they loved the accompaniment. And when it was time to dance, there wasn't a single person left in their seat! If you're looking for an experienced DJ who can get the party going, I highly recommend hiring DJ Michael Kane. Michael Kane did a phenomenal job at our wedding! We gave Michael a series of challenging assignments - specific processional songs for each person, music in 3 locations, a complicated first 3 dances with introductions mid-dance - and Michael nailed each one with swiss-watch precision. We were so happy with Michael's performance - he kept the energy high, played our requested songs (mostly oldies) but sprinked in modern dance tunes to keep energy high, and he was there all the way through the end. Highly recommended! Great job, Michael!
