In addition, Stephanie also took the time to write a timeline out for the bridal party that way they knew when they needed to be onsite by for services and kept the day stress free on that end of things, so appreciative of that! “I just absolutely adored both Regina and Makeup By Kerstin. They are separate hair and make up, but are best friends IRL and create the most fun trial & wedding morning when they work together! Regina absolutely aced my hair, I wanted long wavy curls, with a slicked back style and she DELIVERED. My hair lasted all day, my veil stayed tight & *the veil came out clean, no hair came undone/or any fly aways* for the reception, which I feel like is a really really import thing that gets over looked. When I told regina I was worried about this at the trial, she said “girl I got it don’t worry!”, and she most definitely did. Everything about my hair and my girls’ hair was perfect! I actually found Regina from one of her instagram posts and fell in love with the way she styles curls. She was easy to book, easy to communicate with, always active on IG (it’s nice to follow along after you’ve booked, but before your wedding), and just the kindest most beautiful upbeat soul. “My experience working with Katherine was AMAZING! She did hair for me and my bridal party (total 6 people), and everyone’s hair was absolute perfection! My wedding was in central Jersey, and I looked long and hard for a hair stylist that fit my vision. The moment I saw Katherine’s work, I knew it was perfect and I was willing to pay a travel fee to book her services. From day 1, Katherine was incredibly easy to work with and so friendly! For my bridal preview appointment, I was torn between wearing my hair up vs down. Katherine was so incredibly patient and worked with me on four different preview hairstyles to figure out what worked best and fit with my vision. Between the trial and the wedding, she was always available to answer any questions I had (which was many) and followed up multiple times to confirm the details of the wedding day and the bridal party. She also went out of her way to coordinate with my makeup artist to make sure everyone was on the same page about the getting ready timeline. On the day of the wedding, Katherine was an absolute joy to work with! She has such a calming yet fun presence, and working with her made getting ready in the morning all the better. Each of us had different hair textures and very specific/unique requests (ear coverage, more volume, less volume), but she worked her magic and managed to execute everyone’s vision flawlessly! Everyone’s hair looked SO good, better than any of us could’ve imagined. We finished getting ready ahead of schedule, and everyone’s hair stayed perfectly in place through the entire night. As the bride, it was so helpful being able to trust that my hair would not budge, despite a long veil and a night of dancing.
