Dylan Michael Cosmetics was created in honor of owner Cindy Singer's sons, Dylan and Brandon. Dylan lost his battle with familial dysautonomia (FD) at just 19 years old. His strength and spirit continue to be the inspiration for everything they do in the wedding industry. In Dylan’s memory, a portion of the net proceeds is donated to Pixie Dust Wishes, a nonprofit that creates unforgettable Disney experiences for individuals with disabilities and their families. To date, more than 30 children and their loved ones have experienced the magic of Disney.

Dylan Michael Cosmetics offer complimentary trials, collaborating with the bride and her bridal party so everyone feels like the most confident, most beautiful version of themselves on the big day. With over 20 years in the industry, they are dedicated to providing exceptional service—consistently following up and even in today’s tech-driven world they are always happy to connect via a good old-fashioned phone call so your experience with them is as personal and seamless as it is professional. Yes. Bridal trials are free of charge. We allow for an hour for a bridal trial but it often only takes 45 minutes. This is where the bride will receive a consultation and full makeup application. During the trial session all details are reviewed: your dress, hair, flowers, color of bridesmaids dresses, etc. All products, application techniques and special instructions will be recorded on file. There is no obligation to commit for makeup services at the time of the trial. This is your test-run to preview your makeup look and collaborate with the artist. This also allows for feedback so we can make any necessary “tweaks” on the wedding day.
It takes about 30 minutes for each makeup application (45 MINUTES FOR THE BRIDE). We also build in additional 30 minute “buffers” on the front and back ends to allow for some “wiggle room”. Once your services are officially booked a timeline will be created to have everyone ready in time for pictures/1st look/ceremony.
A non-refundable “save the date” fee of $25 and signed contract is required to secure your wedding date and book services. All bookings come on a first come, first serve basis. We do not hold the date without the “save the date fee and/or contract. Most brides lock in the date and save the trial for a day closer to the wedding, however some do prefer to have the trial before securing the date. In that case we schedule the trial sooner rather than later so you don't risk losing the date to another bride. No, we pride ourselves on accommodating everyone regardless of wedding party size
Yes. We use a water-based Airbrush foundation that is specially formulated to be “sprayed” or “painted” on to the face through an air "gun" or “brush” that looks a bit like a fountain pen that deposits small micro “dots” of makeup on to the face to give the skin a natural semi-matte finish as well as provide a flawless look to the skin. It is not for all skin types such as mature, very dry or sun damaged skin. We do individual lashes so that we can customize them to your desired length and thickness.

    Truly exceptional!

    Cindy was so friendly and professional, over email, at my trial, and before my wedding. She did a beautiful job on makeup for the whole bridal party, and even inspired my mom to wear makeup again! I highly recommend her.

    Amazing!

    From my first email exchange with Cindy at Dylan Michael Cosmetics, I knew we were in good hands. We worked specially with Sam and Nina, who were super organized, which made the whole planning process stress-free. On the day of the wedding, they did an incredible job on my makeup and my bridesmaids' looks—we all felt beautiful while still looking like ourselves. What really stood out was how fun and relaxed they were to be around, which helped calm our nerves before walking down the aisle. Dylan Michael Cosmetics is exactly who you want on your wedding day.

    Non-makeup wearer put at ease

    I used DMC for my June wedding and everything could not have come out better. I did do two trials to help alleviate any stress morning of and this was no problem at all for DMC. They made every effort to make sure I would be confident and comfortable in my makeup look. As a bride you may worry to be a bridezilla in order to achieve what you want be rest assured that DMC is ready to listen and make your vision a reality. Can’t thank you guys enough!

    LOVED my makeup!

    My makeup was perfect, and all of the women who I paid for also loved their makeup! I specifically had Kelly and Jennifer come out for our makeup. They were so easy to work with, very competitively priced, and very talented. My makeup lasted beautifully from application at 9:30am until coming back from our after party at 2am. No regrets and worth every penny. Now my best friend is looking into them for her wedding! Would recommend over and over.

    Wonderful!

    Working with Dylan Michael Cosmetics was such a smooth experience from start to finish. Cindy responded to my questions quickly and was detail oriented. Casey was wonderful to work with on the wedding day and provided a calming presence. Their soft glam style looked natural on my skin, not heavy or overdone, and it stayed put all day long. I'd absolutely recommend them to any bride looking for a makeup artist!
