“Ashley drove all the way up from Philadelphia to photograph our wedding in the Boston area. Her prices were quite reasonable, including the travel costs. She was a very pleasant and relaxed photographer, flexible in the face of uncertainty and complexity, and able to marshall children and adults effectively. Her street photography background lended itself perfectly for candid, intimate, dynamic images, which we were hoping to capture for our guests.
Our wedding was on November 3rd, 2024. We received 1100 online photographs on March 29th, 2025, and a USB of all photographs around April 15th, 2025. So it took 20 weeks, 6 days for the full set of photographs. Ashley was able to get us several photographs on November 9th, 2024, which was a pleasant experience after the wedding. My wife was concerned that we might not get the photos from Ashley, as time went by and we could not contact her. During the winter my wife was contacted by another recent customer of Ashley's to ask if we had gotten hold of her and received photos, as the other customer had not yet and had been unable to contact her. The effort of calling, texting, or emailing her every few weeks with no or infrequent responses did become a bit of a chore for us.
We're giving Ashley 4 out of 5 stars because the quality of her photos and her quality as a member of the wedding day does not deserve a lower rating. We just wanted you to know of the delay and lack of contact we experienced after the event. It might have been a temporary setback for Ashley, we can't tell from her communication with us.
