About Heather Fowler Photography
Heather Fowler Photography
I am a photographer that looks for the extraordinary and artistic angles in each portrait session or wedding. I make artwork for your home while documenting authentic moments. I am inspired by emotions, intimate moments and the way the light captures a feeling. I stop and observe in my life and am in tune with my spiritual side. I hope this shows in my work as I enjoy making others feel comfortable and good about them selves. I enjoy capturing connection, love, and happiness in each wedding.
Tyler School of Art was where I became obsessed with photography and years later I still consider myself an artist who makes a living doing what I love! I learned photography in the darkroom and consider myself a hybrid film and digital photographer. I spent a semester in Italy observing and documenting in black and white film on the streets. I am a yoga lover who incorporates breath work into my photo sessions to help my subjects relax and show their true self. I come to each wedding with a positive and excited mindset to create for you!

Book Heather!!
We chose Heather off of her portfolio and because she was a recommended vendor from our venue. We could not have made a better choice. Not only are the photos so gorgeous, she went above and beyond and photographed longer than she had been booked so that my grandmother could have photos of some of our Pakistani wedding traditions (like the shoe stealing and my henna). All of our guests raved about her, and her candid shots were such a hit that I had people texting me for the link to buy off her website. Heather is truly a master of her craft and a wonderful and kind person to work with.

Heather is great! She took photos for our engagement session and our wedding. Heather is super professional but also kind. She helped make us feel comfortable during both photo sessions. For the wedding she created a wedding photographer timeline with us which helped a lot and also listened to our requests before and during the big day. During the wedding she helped gather people for photos. Family members said that she was very professional, in that she helped direct them, but also lovely to work with. She was also always on time and dressed appropriately. Our photos arrived on time in which she told us and were exactly what we could have dreamed of. Thank you so much for everything Heather! We would definitely recommend her and hire her again for any occasion.

Heather is Amazing
As a wedding videographer, I get the opportunity to work with tons of photographers on a monthly basis. Without of doubt, Heather is one of the best that I've had a chance to work with. She's super communicative and brings an incredibly calming presence to the day. The wedding we worked together was incredibly packed with a number of events which ultimately led to us running slightly behind. Heather was such a trooper and able to make sure the couple got all of the shots that they wanted without missing much of cocktail hour. I'd highly recommend Heather if you're looking for a photographer.
