My name is Amber Helverson, and I have been in this industry for twelve years. My absolute passion is doing makeup, and making my clients feel their most beautiful. As a little kid I was always playing with my friends hair, and makeup, and just always wanted people to feel good about themselves. Being apart of someone’s big day is always such an honor because they’re trusting you to make them look, and feel their best, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted! Please note, we only offer makeup services, but can send referrals for hair stylists!

I think what sets me apart most, is that by the end of working together, we both walk away feeling like we both made a new friend. I have always prided myself on how I can make friends, with just about anyone, and that's followed me into my professional work now. My team is also hand selected to have the same attitude, and I feel like it's hard to come by people like that in the beauty community.

Travel is $1.00 per mile starting from Malvern PA.

Yes! Makeup charges are a full face, with lashes.

We do! We offer airbrush, as well as traditional application. It is our brides choice, and artist’s recommendations at the trial what we will use the day of!

We have a minimum of five services plus the bride in order for our team to come on location. In special cases we will accommodate a smaller party!

Yes! You must pay your retainer to secure your date. This will come off your day of cost!

Our company ONLY provides makeup. We work closely with a lot of hair stylists so can send referrals once booked with our team.

I found Amber on Zola about a year ago when looking for a makeup artist for my wedding. From the very beginning, she was super friendly, organized, and helpful! I looked through so many different makeup artists before finding Amber. It was very hard to find a makeup artist who could do a really good natural makeup look until I found Amber! I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis, so I wanted to make sure I looked like myself on my wedding day. During my makeup trial, Amber gave me lots of suggestions and knew exactly what to do to give me the perfect natural look! Amber arrived early on my wedding day ready to go and did all of my bridesmaids and mother’s makeup. Everyone loved the makeup Amber did and felt so confident! On my wedding day, my makeup look came out better than I could’ve ever imagined! I would highly recommend Amber to any bride looking for a makeup artist for their wedding day! I can’t say enough great things about her!!

Amber Helverson is truly one of the best in the business. I met Amber at another wedding that I was a bridesmaid for. As somebody that was newly engaged, I knew that I wanted to work with her for my own wedding the moment I met her. The communication throughout the process was clear and very informative. Amber is one of the kindest souls and makes you feel immensely comfortable while in her chair. She has the greatest eye for her craft and truly the work she produces makes you feel so beautiful and confident. She loves to hear your vision and makes it come to life and is open to change when the day comes if you want! My makeup lasted the entire day, and did not even feel like I was wearing a full face of makeup, which was very comforting as I do not usually wear a lot of makeup throughout the week and it was fairly warm out. In addition, my bridesmaids loved the way they looked and each of them could not stop talking about Amber and Sandi bringing all the positive vibes. I could not recommend Amber more!

Makeup with Amber Helverson was a fantastic choice for our wedding day beauty needs. From the start, Amber was easy to reach, had a quick response time, and was very easy to talk to about my vision. On the day of, she arrived on time and used great products that made my makeup last all night long. I felt comfortable and beautiful, but still like myself. Amber listened closely to what I had asked for and delivered exactly that. She even stayed to touch up my makeup right before we went out, ensuring I looked my absolute best. I highly recommend Makeup with Amber Helverson for any wedding or special event - they made me feel confident and gorgeous all night long.
