WE ARE EASY TO WORK WITH We staff dedicated to all the administrative work we will get you answers to your questions quickly so you can keep moving and are not waiting around on us. Planning and coordinating a lot of moving pieces is difficult, but hair and make will be easy. WE HELP YOU AVOID DELAYS Hair and makeup typically start off the day. We know a small delay will have ripple effects. So, we require our artist to be on-site 30 minutes early so they are ready to go on time. WE GOT YOUR BACK. Things happen. We have back plans. We a large community of artist we can seamless replace them when life get in the way.

In short, YES! Our infection control protocols are our top priority. We always use fresh, clean brushes and disposable materials on each member of the bridal party. We wash our hands regularly, use sanitizer between clients, and keep our metal tools clean with alcohol spray. We never double-dip powder products, and we wipe down all surfaces after each use. Your safety is our main concern, and we have even stricter protocols in place since the outbreak of Covid-19.
Yes! Ask our artist(s) about our lipgloss options when you meet with us for your trial, or send us an email.
Your hairstylist and makeup artist will arrive fully prepared with everything you could possibly need for your hair and makeup services. The only thing we will need is access to an electrical outlet, a table, and a chair. (Bonus points if the table and chair are near a window, we love natural lighting!) Yes, our makeup artists are trained to work with all skin tones and textures! All of our makeup artists' kits include a wide variety of foundation shades so they can always find the perfect match for you. Our hairstylists are also trained to work with a variety of hair textures. Rest assured, you and your party will be in the most experienced hands!

We typically start seeing dates begin booking 12 to 18 months out. Popular dates can book up many months in advance. We recommend booking your hair and makeup services at least 9 months in advance, especially if you have a specific date or artist in mind. This will give us enough time to discuss your vision and make sure we are available on your chosen date. If you're booking last minute, don't worry - we will always try our best to accommodate your needs!
Our team of experienced professionals have over 20 years of wedding experience and have completed over (X) weddings. We are dedicated to making sure you are happy with our service and will never cancel on you or take your money without delivering the promised service. We also place an emphasis on safety and are licensed in each state our artists operate in. We take scheduling very seriously. All of our artists constantly check their calendars and emails. They receive your wedding day schedule a week prior to your big day so they are fully prepared. We also always have a manager on-call and require our artists to check-in with said manager, this way, we know everyone is where they need to be!
Yes, our team offers hair and makeup services for rehearsal dinners. We understand that this is a very important event leading up to your big day. Contact us as early as possible to reserve this service, as we may have other weddings on the date of your rehearsal.
Yes, we do! Keep in mind that Saturday appointments are usually not available during our busiest season because we're already booked up with on-location wedding services. Let us know what your schedule looks like and we'll do our best to work with you.
Yes, we do have a package specifically for brides. Even if you can't find enough people to meet the minimum requirements, we still may be able to accommodate you. In this case, you would just need to pay a slightly higher fee. If you're having trouble finding enough friends or family to fill the spots, try asking a special guest!
Of course! We work with a lot of brides from outside of our service areas. Many brides are traveling home or heading to a destination for their nuptials. Everything can easily be done via email, phone, Zoom, and FaceTime. We do recommend scheduling a trial prior to the wedding day, which would require an in-person trip to the area.
Don't worry, we got you covered! (literally). We will be able to take out the redness and discoloration, but keep in mind that if any blemishes are raised, the texture might still be a little noticeable up close.
Airbrush Makeup comes in the form of a very thin, liquid-like foundation. Airbrush foundation is a special foundation that is highly colorized and pigmented and is sprayed directly onto your skin using an airbrush pen and compressor. It is key to hire a professional makeup artist to apply it for you; someone who really knows the product and has had the training that's needed for a perfect application. When done correctly, it looks like a second skin that will last the entirety of your wedding day and night. Yes! Our travel fee is based on location and distance.

No, trials are not required however, we do highly recommend them! A trial is an opportunity for you to meet your selected hair and makeup artist, and to try out different looks to find one that you love for your wedding day. If you're not sure what kind of look you want yet, it's a good time to discuss styles that you like and don't like. This way, your artist can get an idea of your taste and what you might be looking for on your big day.
Some brides like to schedule their trial before booking with us so they can get a feel for their artists first. Others book their hair and makeup with us first and then schedule their trial; the choice is yours! We suggest booking your trial as soon as possible.
Yes! The artist(s) you meet with for your trial will be the artists servicing your bridal party for your wedding day. In the case of an emergency where your selected artist(s) are not able to attend your wedding day, our on-call artist(s) will take their place. We fully document each experience with our brides so if we do need to replace your original artist(s), your replacement artist(s) will be fully informed and ready to rock your wedding day glam.
Yes, you are not required to submit your deposit before meeting with our artists for your trial. You can book your trial and pay the deposit after you've fallen in love with your artists, but please keep in mind your wedding date is not reserved until your deposit is paid and your contract is signed.

    Professional, friendly, and great at what they do

    Updos For I Dos made getting ready for our wedding day so easy. The team arrived right on time and knew exactly what they were doing with our hair and makeup. They were patient with us as we decided what tweaks we wanted, and didn't rush through any adjustments. Their communication was direct and clear from our first conversation all the way through the day, which meant there were no surprises. Our artists were friendly and professional and made the getting ready process fun. They are priced a little higher than some other companies but this is a case where you get what you pay for. We would absolutely recommend them.

    Amazing Team!!

    We had the absolute best experience with Updos for I Dos, especially Brandi and Nichole! From start to finish, they were such an amazing part of our wedding day and made everyone feel so beautiful, confident, and taken care of. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they also brought such a calming, fun, and positive energy to the morning of the wedding. They listened so carefully to everyone’s preferences and absolutely nailed every single look. Our hair and makeup stayed flawless all day and night, even through happy tears, dancing, and everything in between! Brandi and Nichole truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone felt their best. They helped create such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere while somehow keeping us perfectly on schedule.     The team at Updos For I Dos was a pleasure to work with on my wedding day. They were receptive to all of our hair requests, friendly, and arrived right on time to get my bridesmaids and I ready.     Highly Recommend Updos for I Dos

    I had a wonderful experience working with Updos for I Dos! I communicated a lot with the team leading up to my trial and wedding day, and they were incredibly helpful and willing to answer any and all of my questions. It was great to meet my hair and makeup artists during my trial and work with them to talk through what I envisioned. My hair is fine so my hairstyle didn't exactly match the photo inspirations, but my artist did a style that was in the same realm. For my makeup, I said I wanted to look like myself but elevated, and she hit the nail on the head. On wedding day, they delivered. They worked with our tight and early timeline with a lot of women (10 total) having their hair and makeup done, and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. My only small bit of disappointment was that my hair started to fall by cocktail hour, so my bridesmaids had to spend a little bit of time re-pinning and hairspraying to get it back in place, which took a little bit of time away from enjoying the reception. But overall, I definitely recommend Updos for I Dos for your special events.

    No-Stress Wedding Hair & Makeup!

    I chose Updos For I Dos because I wanted a "no-stress" experience: meaning, I wanted someone I could trust! They were very professional, listened to what everyone wanted, and made the process very smooth. We had one hair stylist and one makeup artist for about 7 people (including bride), and they finished right on time! I appreciated that my curls lasted throughout the whole event. Also, they pinned my hair perfectly for us to clip in the veil and for it not to make my hair fall out. Great job!
