She immediately went into action mode, pivoted seamlessly, and helped us secure a new plan without missing a beat. What could have been a disaster turned into just another hurdle she expertly handled. We were based in San Francisco, and she is based in the greater Seattle area — and distance was never an issue. She scheduled calls whenever we needed, reached out to vendors, and followed up consistently to keep everyone aligned. She even flew down to SF twice during the planning process and then arrived early the week of the wedding to make sure everything was perfectly in place. That level of dedication meant the world to us. She reminded us about payments and deadlines and caught so many little things we absolutely would have forgotten. I truly think that level of flexibility and support is rare. On the wedding day, she struck the perfect balance of being flexible while still keeping us right on schedule. Any issue that came up was handled calmly and professionally — we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. All vendors were well-informed, coordinated, and prepared. She even created and printed a detailed binder with everything from schedules and song lists to seating charts — the level of preparation was incredible. We are beyond grateful for her. She is not only an amazing planner but an even better person. Her calm presence, organization, and genuine care made all the difference. I truly cannot sing her praises enough. “All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Ashley also had the unique ability to navigate and balance our very different planning styles — my Type A tendencies and my husband’s more last-minute approach — with so much grace, humor, and patience. We often joked that we wished we could keep her in our lives forever to make all our daily decisions, because she made everything feel lighter and easier. There were a couple moments when certain vendors didn’t follow through according to their contracts, and Ashley stepped in immediately, handled everything professionally, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. “Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. “Philly, the owner of Prologue Events, is exactly the wedding planner/coordinator/florist/friend you need in your life. She does it all, which is very convenient so you don't have to communicate with a bunch of different vendors. For us, she worked on our Chinese/Tea Ceremony day and Western Ceremony day. She has lots of experience working with cultural weddings and is familiar with many traditional customs. Early on, she created a mood board for floral arrangements and tablescape, which made it easy to trust and align with her. From beginning to end, she made the 1 year we spent wedding planning sane and somewhat enjoyable. She broke down tasks for us, allowing us to focus on one task at a time, and gave us lots of vendor suggestions to choose from. Philly REALLY shined on our wedding weekend, which was 3 days. She constantly checked in on us, made sure we had breaks, set up every detail of the venue, patiently worked with our large hectic families, and packed up all of our belongings for us at the end of the night. “I started planning my wedding about six months in advance, but it wasn’t until a month and a half before the big day that I found Maggie—and that’s when everything suddenly became so much easier. Although she was technically hired as a “day-of coordinator,” what she did went far beyond that. “Working with Abby at Made with Love Events was such a great experience. She has this easy, friendly way of talking that made me feel like I was planning with a friend instead of a vendor. Even though I'm pretty organized, Abby caught details I would have completely missed and kept everything running smoothly on the actual day.
