We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. We had an absolutely perfect day at Cricket Creek. We hosted our ceremony up in the pasture and our cocktail hour down and around the barn. The possibilities were endless and we were able to shape the space and use it exactly how we wanted. Working with Jessi made that easy because she was always there to give us advice and make sure all our bases were covered and we weren’t missing anything important. We decided to go to an indoor location for our reception because we knew it would get cold at night in late October, but if we were there at a warmer time, the Barn would also be an amazing spot for a reception. Our guests could not get over the views and the cows! Thank you, Cricket Creek!

This was my first and only venue I toured and I fell in love. We were looking for something very modern and our style and this was exactly that! I was so in love with the large floor to ceiling windows and at night it was absolutely stunning! The outside patio with the fire pits were such a beautiful touch and everyone was loving them all night! The food & drinks were delicious and I have to mention how amazing the staff was to us.. truly wouldn’t have gotten through the night without them! Highly recommend!!

I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.

From beginning to end, our experience at Farm Road Estate was absolute perfection. Even the planning process was enjoyable thanks to Kelly and her incredible team, who went above and beyond every step of the way. From setting up Guitar Hero in the speakeasy for our welcome party, to making sure our grandmas walked down the aisle smoothly, to making sure we were always fed during every little gap of the day—the attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The venue itself is breathtaking, and every guest couldn’t stop raving about how comfortable the rooms and bedding were. And the food… wow. I had friends telling me they literally licked their plates (politely, of course). Everything was phenomenal. It truly felt like we had all our loved ones together for the most beautiful sleepaway weekend, eating, drinking, laughing, and celebrating. We wish we could go back and relive it all over again. Hearing people talk about our wedding gives us the chance to do just that, and it fills our hearts every single time. To Kelly, Mike (the Guitar Hero master), Lauren, Giselle, Chef Joe, Theresa, Steven, Meg, and every single staff member who worked tirelessly to make our weekend so special. We had a wonderful weekend at Bellavista estate! The house is very comfortable and well stocked. Laurie does a good job tailoring the set up to your needs. My kids had a blast exploring the huge yard and loved the playground and playroom. It’s very close to amazing restaurants and multiple town main streets. We also had a rehearsal brunch in the barn which was beautiful! It was a pleasure to work with everyone to create a special day. I highly recommend the property for large groups!

From an officiant's perspective, I was thoroughly pleased with the experience at The Grand Summit Hotel. I always pay attention to how their staff works together and from start to finish the team demonstrated professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone's experience was good (from vendors to guests and everyone in between). All the thoughtful extra touches stood out. Small unseen gestures speak volumes about the team's attentiveness and commitment to making the day feel effortless. Their interactions were intentional and supportive and I left wishing I had another wedding lined up! I would highly recommend Vail Resorts for your wedding/event needs.

My husband and I were married at TurnPark in what I would consider a dream setting. The towering artwork, the gorgeous water filled quarry, and the amphitheater made out of local marble made a gorgeous backdrop for our big day. The folks at TurnPark made it super easy and beautiful, helping out with the sound system, seating, and many other details that made it so perfect. We would highly recommend TurnPark as a wedding venue (and a fabulous place to visit in general).

We feel so lucky to have found the West Mountain Inn for our wedding. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. Birch Hill is phenomenal!! From the very beginning of the process, Serena was by our side, always answering any questions we had, making sure everything was clear, and making sure we had everything OUR way. The day of, she exceeded my expectations; she was AMAZING - literally running around to make sure our day went smoothly (which it did). Literally nothing went wrong other than running 15-20 minutes behind schedule which wasn’t their fault! Food was amazing, and everyone thought so, we heard the bartender was awesome as well as the drinks he made, and the venue itself is just beautiful. We had our ceremony at the pond pergola and our reception in the Colombia Ballroom - both absolutely stunning and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day, thanks to Birch Hill & Serena and even Kelsey who helped Serena the day of! We can’t thank Birch Hill enough for everything they did for us and our big day and we are so glad we trusted them; would recommend them 1000 times over!

We had our wedding at the Lucy Brate Barn, and it was an incredibly beautiful, charming, and seamless event. The venue (and our photos) looked amazing, and we got so many compliments from our guests. The Mead Family Farm is so scenic, with the barn looking out over a small valley where you may catch a glimpse of the cows grazing in green fields between the rolling hills. The barn is impressively huge, easily fitting our 100 guests with plenty of room to spare. It has such an old-timey charm, made even cozier by the lights, flowers, and decorations. The large doors were wide open, letting in the breezy summer night air, and our guests were also enjoying the outdoor spaces, especially the beautiful patio out back, lined with flowers and greenery and decked with hanging lights. The farm was such a gorgeous place to get married! The Mead-Neff family is so hardworking, helpful, and accommodating — and incredibly calm and collected under the pressure of such a large event. They made the planning process easy and smooth, and they were there for us every step of the way. They really went above and beyond for us, and we are so grateful to them for making our wedding such a special and beautiful event! Thank you!!! The venue itself was simply stunning - Lincoln Hall is a wonderful addition that provided an unforgettable backdrop for our special day, even when we had to move the ceremony indoors due to rain. Carmine was our rock through the planning process, and his professionalism allowed us to forgo a planner or coordinator, as we knew he had everything covered. The team pivoted flawlessly when we had to move the event inside, ensuring our wedding day was nothing short of beautiful and memorable.

This venue is beautiful and it’s great that you can do the ceremony and reception at this location. The event coordinator was very quick to respond to my emails and was very gracious and made a few accommodations for us. It can be pricey to get married here because they will charge you for all of the little add ons. There was miscommunication when it came to booking rooms at the hotel but they are quick to try to make things right!

As a wedding photographer I have been to an incredible number of venues and Locust Hill Barn is a complete stand out. The barn is a bright airy space, with beautiful grounds. Everything you need is right there with little effort. You have a ceremony site, woodlands, farmland, pond, and space outside for guests to roam around. The cocktail hour outside is beautiful, I especially love the lounge area under the tree shade. It also helps that this barn can house large weddings. I would highly recommend!

When we first moved to Brattleboro back in 2023, the Retreat Farm was one of the first places we visited. Not only is the mission of nonprofit phenomenal, the organization hosts events that bring community together and folks closer to nature. When deciding on our wedding venue a year later, the Retreat Farm was one of our top choices. At the time, the North Barn was being renovated and had not yet been finished, but even then we saw the vision. I also think it is important to mention, as a queer couple, we received nothing but respect throughout the entire process. From the beginning, everyone we worked with from signing the contracts to planning the actual wedding, we received enthusiasm for our less than traditional wedding (Gothic Victorian/Halloween themed). Retreat Farm from the beginning was exceptional! I cannot reiterate enough how kind everyone was to work with. Working with Samantha as the venue coordinator was a breeze. She was accommodating, fun, and well organized. She answered every question, no matter how little. Planning a wedding is no easy task, but every step of the way, Samantha and the Retreat Farm staff were there. Franklin and the staff day of were also all so accommodating and there to help address any last minute hiccup! Everyone was also so fun and inviting to all of our guests dressed up in their costumes. We had an outdoor ceremony on Outlook Meadow and I know the work that would've gone into hauling the arbor, chairs, and sound system up that hill, but they did what they could to make our day PERFECT! We had our reception in the North Barn and even with spending time in the space before, I could not have imagined how perfect it was with all of our decor! The wood beams, tables, and lights balanced perfectly with our elegant Victorian and silly Halloween decor! No matter what style wedding you're looking for, the Retreat Farm will help you make it happen in the most beautiful spaces! If I could give more than five stars, I would!

My husband and I got married at the Northampton Country Club in the fall of 2023. We had 110 people and everyone loved the crisp clean atmosphere of the venue. People had plenty of space to move about and we had a good size dance floor as well! My mother in-law was the one who made the suggestion to get married here as she had attended a wedding the previous year and loved it. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the hill in front of the gazebo and the setting was perfect. The trees had almost fully turned and the backdrop looked amazing in our photos. I loved that I could choose from a list of vendors and not be pressured into a preferred caterer. There was a shuttle from our hotel, which made this location very accessible for out of town guests. I highly recommend this location, you get so much value for what they offer. The bar staff was very accommodating and made the night fun for our guests!

My husband and I visited Scott Farm on two occasions before our June 2025 wedding and will continue to treasure it as a destination. The staff, especially Suzanne Tessitore, are absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to help us produce the (slightly alternative) wedding of our dreams. Our 80 guests could comfortably gather in the Apple Barn, by the brook, and at Naulakha for our send-off brunch the morning after. The natural beauty and calm of Dummerston combined with the beautiful, quirky features of the property like the stone walls and cafe bar really made the whole event feel like an escape from reality. We were able to rent all the houses on the property for ourselves and our immediate families, which was a great way to spend lots of time together (and have help close by on set-up day!). It was personally meaningful to me as a native Vermonter to share this state with our people, especially at a venue that encapsulates so many of the values and features that I love about it. I could go on and on! Some more key points: - We were a very (very) DIY couple and appreciated the control we were given for space usage, setup, and flow of the day -- we did not need a lot of hand-holding and we never felt like we were being "managed" - I have a family member who uses a wheelchair and he was able to get around the Apple Barn and surrounding grounds just fine - We ordered apple cider doughnuts from the farm as part of our wedding dessert and they were A - The vendors that Scott Farm suggested to us were all great, and as someone easily overwhelmed by decision fatigue I appreciated that in this relatively remote area there weren't too many options - Many of our guests were LGBTQIA and (not surprisingly for Vermont) were very comfortable - My father in law wanted to bake sourdough bread for our welcome dinner and Suzanne brought us her personal dutch oven for him to use!?! I would recommend Scott Farm as a venue for anyone looking for a naturally beautiful, simple venue highlighting the Vermont landscape and local food economy. We will treasure these memories forever.

The venue is exclusively catered and owned by Seasons Catering where they are excited to begin hosting events. This venue holds the history from when Thomas Edison came to Schenectady to start up Edison Machine Works and when he combined it into the Edison General Electric company in 1889. After - the building transformed into the Schenectady Gazette headquarters. Weddings can be incredibly stressful and sometimes not go as you planned, but I can guarantee The Edison Downtown staff will make your special day the best wedding or event you’ve ever had. Jena, our wedding coordinator and Bylinda, the owner, truly went above and beyond any of my expectations for my wedding day. The attention to care to not only myself but all family members and party members was impeccable. The organization and leadership day of from Jena highly attributes to the perfection and smoothness of our wedding. She was there late the night before and there bright and early the day of to make sure everything we wanted was done correctly and done timely. She made sure to keep to our schedule and even if there were any bumps in our timeline, she handed it for us. She paid incredible attention to detail to both our wedding and after party, as we had a completely different themed event also at the venue slightly after our wedding ended. I’m sure this made it more difficult than usual for the staff, but Jena handled the organization of all of our decor and organization of the staff and people involved like a seasoned professional. The food from Season’s Catering was divine and some of the best food we can recall having at a wedding or other event in a very, very long time. Our guests cannot stop talking about how absolutely delicious all of the food was, how gorgeous and unique the venue was, and how it was one of the best weddings they have attended. From the bartender to the servers, everyone was so sweet and seemed so excited to be working our wedding day. I didn’t know exactly what to expect planning my first wedding, but was so thankful for having Bylinda and having Jena from the venue to handle everything. Any event at The Edison Downtown is worth every penny. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the effort they put into our special day.

We got married at Saratoga National Golf Club on April 12th, and it was truly the most incredible experience from start to finish. If you’re considering this venue—book it. You will be in the absolute best hands. Saratoga National partners with Mazzone Hospitality (or vice versa!), and their team is second to none. Our sales coordinator, Ellie, was a total gem. She was responsive, supportive, and never nickel-and-dimed us on small changes or additions. Planning from out of town can be stressful, but she made everything easy and even helped us find smart ways to cut costs without sacrificing the experience. The day before the wedding, our event manager, J’Leen, carefully set up all of our candles and décor exactly as we envisioned. She was professional, incredibly hardworking, and so thoughtful. I can’t say enough about what a great manager she is—she truly has everything down to a science. On the day of the wedding, the team executed everything flawlessly. They were kind to our guests, cleared plates quickly, and remained accessible throughout the event. After the celebration, they packed up all our items with care so we could easily pick them up the next morning. Now, let’s talk about the food—our guests are STILL raving about it! Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. As someone who works in Human Resources and plans corporate events multiple times a year, I’ve worked with many venues—and I can confidently say this team is the best I’ve ever encountered. Welcome! We are so glad you are considering the Montague Retreat Center for hosting your wedding! Our team wishes to help personalize your experience in our extraordinary place. Our lush Ceremony Circle, nestled up to the apple orchard, sits beneath one of the oldest maple groves in Massachusetts, with a stunning view across the valley. Our Stone Patio features a permanent 40’ x 50’ reception tent and a 75’ long retaining wall/bench. Our elegant, rustic Great Hall barn has chestnut beams, bamboo floors, lots of glass and geothermal cooling. Visit our website to learn more about our rich history! Our amenities include 10 on-site accommodations that sleep between 24-32, our yurt, an ADA-compliant lift, and accessible restrooms. Two streams run through the property and the Robert Frost Trail is within walking distance. We would also love to put you in touch with our preferred caterer, Wheelhouse.

My wife & I had the privilege to get married surrounded by our friends & family at the beautiful Montague Retreat Center in June of 2024. There’s a seemingly endless list of what drew us to MRC, but some key features to highlight: - Incredibly beautiful indoor & outdoor spaces - Comfortable, spacious, and accessible on-site lodging options - Flexible weekend buyout, enabling us to bring all of our ideas to life without much restriction or hurdles - Wheelhouse Catering: some of the best wedding food we’ve ever tasted in our lives - All of Montague staff, especially Jason Jason deserves his own dedicated review, but from the planning stages all the way through until the end of our weekend, Jason made himself available and ready to help. Jason referred several our vendors that made our day go off without a hitch, all of whom brought creative and personal touches that made our day so special. He consistently went above and beyond day of as well, from catching decorations that needed to be put out, to being hands-on assisting guests that needed extra help, and facilitating vendors to ensure everything was in its right place. His knowledge and general presence brought a calming energy that really helped us feel at home at MRC. For our wedding weekend (170 guests), we really took advantage of all we could at MRC. We observed first hand and heard from guests after our wedding that they felt they had plenty of space to enjoy themselves comfortably through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. With the full weekend rented, we used every square inch that the venue offered: - Friday: Portable Brick Oven Pizza in front of the Great Hall - Saturday AM: family provided breakfast buffet near the dining tent - Ceremony: Outdoor up on the ceremony ring - Cocktail Hour: Custom Poetry and plenty of activities all around the barn - Reception: Live band with stage lighting & sound; DJ later in the evening - Saturday Night: Late night fire pit & snacks for the wedding party - Sunday AM: Bagel sandwiches from Tandem Bagel in the lower level of the barn We can’t stress enough how perfect our weekend was at MRC. Montague Retreat Center will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it left a lasting impact on not only us, but our friends and family as well. At the end of our wedding weekend, many of our family members suggested that we rent out the space for a night every few years for a recurring big family bash. We may have to do just that!
