YPB was simply the single-best decision we could have made for our wedding. Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. Our guests LOVED (1) the decor, (2) the food, and (3) how organized and thoughtful each event was. Throughout the entire wedding journey, Katelyn remained extremely receptive to changes, incredibly attentive to detail, and our biggest friend and advocate. Hiring Ashley at Rose Event Co as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. I thought I was going to be able to manage planning our entire wedding myself, but as the day crept closer and closer, I realized that I was definitely going to need a hand. We spoke with a dozen different coordinators, and Ashley just stood out SO strongly amongst the rest. To put it as simply as possible, she saw our vision, she understood it, she stood in and shared in it with us. She knew exactly how to support us in making it happen, and she was easily able to make us feel that. We initially had concerns about her being located so far away from us (we're in Oakland, CA), but she put those concerns to rest so quickly! Throughout my months of planning after hiring Ashley, she was always there to answer my questions, and provide support and reassurance in all of the little things that I just wasn't sure how to handle myself, and she did so with such grace, patience, and an air of calm that was so extremely helpful and reassuring. When the month of our wedding arrived, Ashley quickly got to work on communicating with and organizing all of our vendors and laying out the structure for the day. She traveled to Monte Rio to be with us the day before our big day, walked us through the ceremony, went over all of the details, and left us so confident and comfortable in her extremely capable hands. The day of the wedding, Ashley handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE with such care and tranquility. All of our wedding vendors absolutely loved her, and we never stopped hearing about how great she was to work with! Ashley is an absolute BOSS in all of the best ways that you can imagine! She is supportive, encouraging, communicative, active, helpful, caring, the list just goes on and on. She wants you to succeed, and you can FEEL it. She remembered and double checked on all of the little details, before, during, and after our wedding, and words simply cannot express our gratitude. She did so many things automatically, that I hadn't even thought to discuss with her, but was so grateful that we had her there to do. Thank you Ashley!! She did so many little things that I didn't even realize until I started looking through all of our photos, and noticed that they had all been done. On top of all of that, she basically packed up the entirety of our decor with the assistance of her extremely helpful husband, which was such a huge relief for us and for our wedding party who had put so much into the day. We were all able to completely disconnect and just enjoy the evening, which was so unbelievably priceless. There are so many things that make Ashley stand out from other coordinators. So many coordinators that we had talked to before Ashley had a big list of things that they would NOT do, but not Ashley. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that our wedding day went perfectly, and it did, thanks to her!! HUGE bonus, she brought along her Super 8 camera, and we CANNOT WAIT to see the footage!! If you're looking for someone who has your back, and can handle ALL of the things with a level of calm that oozes into everyone around her, HIRE ASHLEY! You absolutely will not regret it. All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly. Her communication style was clear, concise, and proactive, with a calm, easy-going demeanor that put us at ease throughout the planning process. Sarah was the key to making our dream wedding a reality. She was the first wedding planner I met, and I instantly felt a connection with her—I knew she was the one for the job. From the very beginning, she became someone I could rely on throughout the entire process. Whether it was brainstorming creative ideas and vendors, coordinating rentals and drop-offs, or calming my nerves when I felt overwhelmed, she was there every step of the way. The quality of her work was truly exceptional—Sarah was thoughtful, mindful, and incredibly detail-oriented. For example, when I was running late on the wedding day, she already had a plan in place and was getting everything set up so I could focus on getting ready. She also went above and beyond by picking up our furniture rental, ensuring we had a beautiful vintage lounge in the garden. Sarah custom-styled every table with the decorations we gathered, and completely transformed the gazebo with family photos and pictures of us. She even managed to get the venue to drill in a disco ball, which I had always dreamed of having. And that’s just a glimpse of all the amazing things she did! She asked insightful questions, offered suggestions that made the entire experience better than I could have imagined, and truly made the wedding process seamless. Hiring Victoria was the best decision we could have made for the success of our wedding! VEVENTS was our venue's preferred day-of coordinator, and we understood why after our first meeting. Victoria is organized, capable, approachable, and really knows her stuff. She's also just plain fun! Every meeting felt like a discussion with a (very efficient) friend. She offered ways we could bring our wedding vision to life, recommended vendors that fit our needs and values, and gave us real talk about how to prioritize and allocate our budget. We opted for a mini planning package in addition to day-of coordination, and I'm so glad we did. I'm very particular about details, and Victoria was the right person to handle much of the coordination leading up to the wedding. I felt comfortable and confident knowing Victoria was our main point of contact for our vendors in advance and on the day of the wedding. Everything seemed to run smoothly the whole evening, and I was so happy Victoria was there to make sure we were on schedule and where we needed to be at the right time.

Rattan Events made our special day absolutely perfect. From the beginning, Miranda’s communication was consistently encouraging and honest, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. When a calamity broke out in the kitchen, she and her assistant made sure it didn't ruin our enjoyment of the reception. Saige, Hannah and Caiti did an excellent job as our wedding planning team, both helping us find and book all the vendors we needed for our event, but also bringing all of the logistics together on the day of our wedding. Our event was interrupted by bad weather (any couple’s worst wedding nightmare), and Saige’s team was able to pivot our entire event indoors flawlessly, while maintaining our vision of the ceremony. Moreover, Hannah made our day easy by keeping pressure off of us so we could enjoy the event, but also checking in to make sure everything was going the way we wanted. Saige also has a great inventory of rental items, and went even further to custom make some items to help deliver on our event décor and vision.
