Every success story has its humble beginnings, and mine was no different. My entry into wedding planning kicked off in a hospitality business management class, where an offer from my professor led me to the world of wedding catering and bartending. This experience sparked a passion for event design, starting with small events and naturally progressing to weddings, where I found my true calling in creating unforgettable celebrations. What started as a one-woman show has blossomed into a badass team, dedicated to ditching the conventional and embracing, well, everything that you stand for as a couple.

Tosha helped bring our perfect wedding day to life, and we couldn’t be more grateful! When Daniel and I started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted something that felt timeless, elegant, and, most importantly, uniquely us. For some things, we had a vision for what we wanted our day to feel like, but translating that vision into a beautiful, cohesive celebration was an entirely different undertaking. And, for other things, we had absolutely no idea where to start. That’s where Tosha came in. From the thoughtfully curated design boards to the smallest details of our ceremony and reception, Tosha helped turn our ideas into something truly extraordinary. Our wedding was filled with beautiful florals, personal touches, and an atmosphere that perfectly balanced the grandeur of the venue with the warmth and intimacy we wanted our guests to experience. What began as inspiration and conversations became the setting for some of the most meaningful moments of our lives. And, all beautifully designed with Tosha’s help. But beyond the beautiful design, what makes a professional like Tosha so valuable is everything that happens behind the scenes. There are countless moving pieces involved in bringing a wedding together, and having someone dedicated to the details, the coordination, and the overall experience makes such a difference. After the big day, we heard countless stories from friends and family of how Tosha was somehow everywhere all at once, mitigating potential mishaps before they popped up. And, in every interaction with us, she was calm, collected, and joyful - we would’ve never known one of the deliveries was running late Our wedding day was more than a beautiful event. It was a celebration of our relationship, our families, and the people we love most. Tosha played the most important role in helping create the setting for those memories, and that is something we will always appreciate. Thank you, Tosha, for helping us create the most perfect day. I would use Tosha a million times over!
Working with Elevated Events By Tosha was a game-changer for our daughter's wedding day. From our first conversation, Tosha's communication was timely and thorough—she kept us informed every step of the way and answered our questions without delay. She took our Pinterest ideas and turned them into a fairytale celebration that felt high-class and elegant. On the day of the wedding, we had zero worries because Tosha had handled every single detail with such precision that we could just show up and experience the magic. Every vision we shared with her came to life, and honestly, the event looked like we'd spent twice what we actually did. Tosha is extremely professional, personable, and truly knows her craft—she made our daughter's and son-in-law's dreams come true, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Tosha is amazing!
We first connected with Tosha after the original wedding planner we hired fell through. The previous planner had recommended Tosha to us as a resource to take over full-service planning for our wedding. We are so glad that we chose Tosha to work with! From the very beginning, we felt very confident in Tosha’s ability to execute our vision. She was very communicative and open with us about what were realistic goals for our big day. The most important item for us was guest experience and Tosha nailed it! The whole day went according to timeline and we didn’t need to worry about anything - Tosha took care of it all and checked in with us throughout the night to see how we were doing. Throughout the planning process, Tosha connected us with amazing vendors and we were beyond satisfied with each vendor we selected. Our wedding was perfect and it wouldn’t have been possible without Tosha’s expertise. We highly recommend planning your wedding with Elevated Events by Tosha!

Not LGBTQ friendly in our experience
As a gay couple, we trusted Tosha with our wedding, believing her to be LGBTQ-friendly. Over time, we noticed growing tension and resentment toward us, and by the end we were walking on eggshells. It really all came to a head after the wedding regarding our photos. For LGBTQ couples, sharing photos online can feel especially vulnerable. When I asked her to post from a selection of photos I was more comfortable with sharing, she refused, insisted she would post whatever and however she wanted, and then blocked me on social media. This not only felt violating but also terrifying, as we’re not publicly out to the world, and we’re just more private in general. (Yes, our contract with Tosha states that she can use our photos, but the language feels predatory when we signed the contract 1.5 years before the wedding and it was not something we were thinking about on this level, and we assumed in good faith that she would respect our wishes for more privacy that we made very clear throughout the entire planning process). We were initially not going to leave a review but after this situation we felt it was necessary to share with others. We want to move on, and just hope that Tosha finds it within her heart to respect our wishes. (I’d like to note that our photographer has been such a blessing and has been so understanding with us navigating this.)

Your wedding day — and everything leading up to it — should feel joyful, affirming, and safe, and I regret that you left the process feeling otherwise. When I received your message after the wedding saying, “Everything was perfect, we had an incredible time. We can’t thank you enough for everything!” — I understood that the planning process and the day itself had met your expectations. That made your later feedback especially important for me to hear. As someone who genuinely values creating an inclusive and respectful space for all couples, especially within the LGBTQ+ community, I take your words to heart. I always strive to lead with kindness and professionalism, and I’m truly sorry if my actions caused any discomfort or distress. After the wedding, I honored your request not to feature your partner’s face in any social media posts, and I have continued to respect that request. When an additional request was made several months later — asking for pre-approval of any photos shared, without a clear timeline — I explained that I was unable to accommodate it, as it fell outside the scope of our original agreement. I followed up with an email including a copy of our contract and an offer to discuss further. When I received a reply asking that I not reach out, and was later blocked on social media, I took that as a sign that you did not wish to continue communication. I respected that. While I regret that we weren’t able to find more mutual understanding in the end, I appreciate the time we spent working together and the trust you placed in me.
