Hi. My name is Eva, great to meet you! Thinking of trusting me with planning your event? Here is a little about me. I am a Vashon Island native, former Chicago dweller and currently live with my husband and two wild boys in West Seattle. I have 10 years of experience of planning + managing gatherings for as little as 20 and as many as 500. From intimate benefactor dinners to elegant fundraisers to festive and modern weddings, I have been involved in just about every aspect of an event that you can think of.
Gather + Cheer? What kind of name is that? It comes from the idea that a great event should involve a gathering of old and new friends, family, co-workers, neighbors or just about anyone! In addition to this, you should be able to focus on the cheer among your guests and not worry about the details. I would love to work alongside you to plan your best party yet, fabulous fundraising event, an unforgettable wedding or another type of gathering!

| Description | Are you busy with your career, family, traveling or just don’t feel like planning a wedding? I’m totally here for you! Kickback, relax and let Gather + Cheer plan your best day ever! | You’ve planned your wedding, you know what you want it to look like and you need someone to execute it so that you can enjoy the day to it’s absolute fullest? Don’t let your family worry about fixing the flowers or counting the chairs. I’ll do the worrying for you! | Do you have some vendors booked, solid ideas and plans in place but need a little more help tying up loose ends and designing the rest of your day? You’ve come to the right place! | This process takes place and ends in a 2-4 month time period. Ideally right when you book your planner and venue. It cover sourcing, negotiating and booking key design elements including rentals, linens, specialty rentals, floral and invitations. Also, we create up to three design boards and color palette in the beginning of the process. We finish up with a compilation email of all of your rentals and where we are at! |

She’s a necessity for your wedding
Eva was an absolute joy to work with. We had the most amazing experience at our wedding and it’s thanks to her and her team. We opted for her mid tier plan where she took over three months before the wedding. She coordinated with our vendors and made our day run smoothly. Everything was seamless and detail oriented. She crafted a gorgeous layout— bringing our dream of a forest floor/dark academia inspired wedding to life. She did our layouts, met with vendors, helped us choose our plate settings, and kept us on track when booking vendors throughout the year. We cannot express how “worth it” it is to have a wedding planner like Eva.
Vashon Wedding
Eva was my planner for a my wedding on Vashon this summer. She knows everything about Vashon so I highly recommend her if that's where your wedding is! I appreciated her attention to detail, answering all my questions, and her communication with vendors. I was able to enjoy the process instead of being dragged down by all the things that needed to be done. We had monthly checkins so by the last month or two before the wedding there was very little to take care of. Eva's communication was great and the day-of she and her team set up my wedding just as I dreamed off. I highly recommend Eva for your wedding!
Best Planner Coordinator Ever!
I chose Gather Cheer after a suggestion from our venue and then in reading her reviews I literally teared up at the way clients described how her services made their dreams come true. And here I am on the other side of Eva’s amazing service, still feeling emotional every time I think of how much care she put into our day and how perfect it all turned out, thanks to her. From the moment we met her and handed over my vision for my wedding (which I had specifically in my mind but was bad at communicating and was nervous I wouldn’t be able to give up control and have a “stranger” deliver) she made me feel seen and understood and completely at ease. She feels like an old friend while being patient, calm, kind and understanding. If you’re worried about being able to hand over control of your vision and taste, or having to work so closely with a stranger, or if you worry about how your big day will feel - do yourself a favor and choose Gather Cheer. She executed my vision perfectly, made me feel at ease through the entire process, and delivered on the day of my dreams I never thought possible. I can’t say enough about how truly impressed and grateful I am for Eva and the service she provided to us. My day would not have been the dream-come-true that it was without her. I can’t recommend her enough and can only imagine that anyone who chooses her for planning important events will come away feeling the same.
Above Beyond
We are at almost at a loss for words as we write this review for Gather Cheer. Hiring Eva is what took our wedding to the next level. She was always available for questions, concerns, and follow-up. She handled a number of administrative items like organizing transportation, walkthroughs, and other details with our vendors. She also offered irreplaceable suggestions to make the day smoother or to make us and our guests more comfortable. There was so much behind-the-scenes work she did for us, that we're sure we're not aware of most of it. Not only is Eva organized, she is also so kind and relatable which was what we needed through this process. We walked into (and out of!) our wedding day absolutely blown away, and really that is because of Eva. We cannot thank her enough and would recommend her for any planning needs.
