“Jenna the dj kept the party hopping all night! She literally was so great in ensuring the guests were kept in the loop the entire night. The couple loved x files and she was made aware and went out of her way to play the x files theme song as a surprise for them. Also, there was an inside joke with a cardboard cutout of Danny Devito. When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.”

“Hiring DJ Benni as our wedding DJ was the best decision we made for our wedding! Benni was a game-changer for our special day! From the first consultation to monthly check-in’s, it was clear we were in expert hands. We shared our vision and DJ Benni shared his thoughts based on the weddings he has DJ for, and he saved us on making some big mistakes as we are new to this. His professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable. Benni let us customize as much or as little as we wanted and would constantly encourage us to do what we want and not cave to “wedding norms”. We ended up having a classical version of Lord of the Rings as the processional and Top Gun Theme song as the recessional, our dog was our flower girl, and DJ Benni rocked every step of the way! We had a tool to help us build out the timeline/flow of our wedding from start to finish. This allowed our DJ to know exactly what to do, and when. And in the case of an emergency if our DJ couldn’t make it, a sub could step in and execute. Which allowed me (bride) and the groom to enjoy the evening and not think about logistics. DJ Benni was also very flexible and easily adjusted on the fly for a few things too. The dance floor was always full, and DJ Benni played banger after banger! He asked us to create and share a playlist with songs we wanted played, the more the merrier, and to note our top ten “must play” songs. From there, he was able to understand the vibe we wanted, and he found songs that we didn’t think of that were major hits! My shy 10-year-old cousin was dancing and having the time of his life, and DJ Benni gave him his contact info and told him to call if he ever wanted to DJ. My cousin was over the moon and had the time of his life. DJ Benni also skillfully read the room, adjusting the music to keep the energy high throughout the night. The sound quality was top-notch, and the equipment setup was sleek and unobtrusive. They also provided excellent MC services, making smooth transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and dancing. His enthusiasm and charisma added an extra layer of excitement, making our wedding reception unforgettable. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the fantastic music and vibrant atmosphere. If you want a memorable wedding celebration, hiring DJ Benni is a must!”

He not only listened to our ideas but he actually helped us make them better. When we weren't sure about our grand entrance and had asked his thoughts, he knew exactly what to do. He also helped with our father/daughter dance and made the song the perfect length. One thing that stood out was when I recorded a tribute to my mom instead of doing a speech, and Conner mixed it into a song that played perfectly during the ceremony. He didn't stop there either. During the reception, he surprised us by weaving part of my sister's MOH speech into Promiscuous Girl, and honestly, it was one of the coolest moments of the night. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it. The dance floor stayed packed the entire time, with people telling us afterward that they literally never left it. “The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!”

“We worked with Kevin Maldonado for our 11.17 ceremony and reception at the Granite Rose in Hampstead NH. Main Event was the recommended DJ service from our venue, and the matching process to put us with the rigth DJ was so easy. Once we met with Kevin, we had high hopes for our big day, and I am not exaggerating when I say that Kevin blew our hopes out of the water. Kevin helped with audio for our ceremony, before doing music and speeches at our cocktail hour and reception. We requested a high energy dancefloor, with classics from all decades to get everyone on their feet, and wanted to have an insane dance party with our friends and family. He killed it. The energy on the dancefloor was impeccable, and Kevin delivered our vision PERFECTLY. He was so professional, but fun, and everything went very smoothly, no hiccups, no complaints.
