I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! We had Christina do our month-of/day-of coordination for our wedding and she truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! It's been a few weeks and I'm still in awe with what she did with my mess of decorations that I threw at her!!! I work in a creative field myself, so I got down and dirty with the D.I.Y. for our big day. I, kid you not, had 300 colorful bud vases, 200 colorful candle holders/votives, and a massive amount of other silly decorations for her to set up for us. I did my best to stay organized for her sanity - but let me tell you - IT WAS A HUGE COMPLICATED JOB and she did it with such ease. I kept apologizing for the amount of work I was giving her, I felt like I was being a little insane with it all LOL... but she was incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring with me through the whole process and kept telling me to stop apologizing LOL!! She is so super knowledgable about everything and has such good instincts about event planning. I added on a 30 minute planning session a few months before she started her coordinating for me - and it was incredibly helpful. Aside from her eye for decorations and impeccable creativity, she was also so so so amazing in coordinating the event in general. I had multiple people from the wedding party ask "wait so that's your coordinator?" and then follow with something along the lines of "she's awesome she just told me where to go and what to do so fast - and I was like YES M'AM" All of the party loved working with her, from my parents to my in-laws. I cannot stress enough how much of an amazing person she is through and through - and if you're lucky enough to get in her books for your wedding, you won't regret it!!

All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly. I have worked my way up the ladder and decided that it was time to branch out on my own. My years of experience in wedding and event planning have required me to have a sharp eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills and work in fast paced environments to make planning fun and events less stressful!

I will preface this by saying that I am not very good at event planning/emails/phone calls and was somewhat dreading wedding planning. I hired Utano Events/Beth for my day of coordinator (and later added on serving staff) at the strong recommendation from my venue. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that my wedding would not have happened without Beth! She caught so many things that I had missed during the planning process. She walked me through rental order estimates, contacted and verified details with all vendors so I didn't have to, made my decor ideas into reality...the list goes on. She has relationships with tons of vendors in the area, and if she didn't work with them before they were sure to let me know how much they enjoyed having her coordinate the wedding. If you are planning a wedding, I would highly recommend hiring Utano Events, and if you are using a more "DIY" venue that doesn't offer many services on site I would VERY highly recommend hiring them!! Worth every penny!

We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. When looking for a wedding planner I needed all the help I could get! I did some research of Philly wedding planners and Musa appeared immediately! I did some vetting for other coordinators as no well as Andi and something that stuck out to me the most was how often Andi checked in. All of the other planners were too busy for my business or thought that having more than one wedding in one day was doable for them making it seem like we would get equal attention which would definitely not be the case. But Andi made me feel so comfortable every. Single. Step. From start to finish she and her team were amazing in every way and I could not have asked for a better team. They gave so many options for vendors that fit our vision who were so amazing and such talented people. Any issues with contracts or timing Andi and her team were on it in a second. I was never unsure or wavered in how I felt about Musa and the work they did! We started planning 2 years ago and she and her team are family now and we love them! We had a saga of a wedding day, which included 250 guests and spanned 3 venues in downtown Manhattan, NYC. We began working with Kris on a weekly basis starting three months before our wedding. With so much left to be done, we were in desperate need of her professional guidance! Kris assisted us in securing last-minute venue/vendor details and navigated us through all the easily-over looked logistics of the wedding day. She gave honest feedback on how our ideas could be realistically executed, and presented us with reasonable alternatives when needed. Because of her professional guidance and get-s***-done attitude, we knew we were in solid hands. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything went as smoothly as possible (aka wrangling decor, vendors, and guests to keep us on schedule). Brooke is an absolute gem and I feel so lucky that we were referred to her. I told her early on that I did not expect to personally have any fun on my wedding day, and all because of Brooke, I had without a doubt, the best day of my entire life. What a phenomenal way to kick of our marriage. We went back and forth on getting a planner, but finally decided that having a day-of coordinator would probably alleviate a lot of stress. Brooke went above and beyond what we expected from a day-of, always offering to take on tasks that seemed too overwhelming for us (finding shuttles, hotel blocks). She was responsive and routinely checked in on us formally and informally. Imagine our shock when we learned she was giving us so much attention and professionalism while she was in the middle of planning her OWN wedding just months before our date! If she was stressed by that, she never showed it, and she even offered us some advice based on her own personal experiences. I had never been in a wedding so I was not at all privy to what goes into planning. Brooke was totally on board with shirking some traditions while prioritizing what we valued most (sentimentality, personalization, guest experience). She made suggestions, but never made us feel pressured to do anything. I wanted full control over several aspects of the wedding and she never made me feel like I was not capable or stupid for, say, wanting to do my own flowers. During our meetings, she was organized and efficient and I always felt better after speaking with her. She made an effort to get in contact with all of our vendors and important people so that everyone could be on the same page for the weekend. She had never done a wedding at our venue (the Ithaca Farmers Market) and made an effort to acquaint herself with the space and (very thorough) procedures beforehand. Brooke is not only professional, flexible, and organized, She is also exactly the person you want with you on your wedding day. I have 2 ways of responding to stress – being a goof and being a snappy, rude b**** and Brooke responded to both with total grace and kindness. She gave me the space to crack jokes during the rehearsal, certainly dragging out the process, which made me feel like it was still OUR wedding and not someone else’s idea of a wedding. If something wasn’t going exactly the way I wanted (e.g. my dad forgot something important at the hotel), I would often take out my frustration on Brooke who would receive it, speak kindly to me, and smile (when what I really deserved sometimes was a slap). She has a way of making you feel seen, heard, and safe, which is exactly what you need when everyone’s eyes are on you. And it was not just me, everyone totally adored her and appreciated her presence. What was really important to me, is that to the extent there were any mistakes/miscommunications (inevitable!) Brooke always took accountability and never tried to redirect blame (even if it was not hers to accept). I really respect this in a person and did not find a ton of it in the wedding planning industry otherwise. Overall, Brooke listens, works super hard, treats you like a dear friend, lets you be yourself.

Elizabeth at E&A Events was the PERFECT solution! I engaged her right away and used her Day of Coordination package which was honestly SO affordable and SO MUCH help to me and to the bride. She worked with us in preparing for the wedding, solved all of our concerns and unknowns as she is so familiar with weddings and how things “should go” and what pitfalls to be aware of.  She was very flexible and all about working with my daughter’s vision for the wedding day, including helping with updates to timelines etc. On the day of, even though the venue provided a “coordinator”, it was so necessary to have someone there who was all about me as the mother of the bride and all about the bride and her day.  Elizabeth was all over the venue throughout the ceremony and reception, making sure things were being handled and staying on track with our wishes;  if there was any issue, she was on it and this allowed me to relax and enjoy the day! Hands down - the best part of the entire support that Elizabeth provided was offered AFTER the event ended;  she stayed long after and made sure that all the centerpieces were broken down and all of the decor was stashed away in one place so we could easily go pick it up the following day.  And this was packing up centerpieces with 28 floating candles on two separate floors — I was having nightmares of having to empty all those vases, but Elizabeth made it so easy! She is friendly, organized and persistent — there is no reason whatsoever to not invest in her support for your wedding or any event — but especially a wedding … this one day can be so expensive - she ensures that nothing goes wrong and you can just enjoy your special day.  HIGHLY recommend her!
