Jared not only took the time to get to know my now husband and I but he curated our whole wedding to fit our likes, dislikes, personality, and vibes. When I tell you I still have people talking about our DJ weeks after the wedding, you’d be shocked at how many people are still making comments about how incredible Jared was. I will never forget my older brother coming up to me while I was dancing the night away at our wedding and saying “You seriously hit the jackpot with this DJ, the way he has put everything together is insane.” And the reason I will remember that moment forever is because I was thinking the same thing the about entire night. Jared made sure all the guests knew what was going on, he communicated so well so no one was out of the loop on what to do next. I told Jared all the things that were really important to me in our meetings prior to the wedding and not only did he make those moments amazing, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make them absolutely perfect. His whole set up was so good. It’s hard to say when it comes to sound, music, and microphones that there were no hiccups or mishaps but with Jared at my wedding there truly was nothing that could’ve gone better than it did. “We hired DJ Skrubb, Musician (Rodney) for our wedding and could not have been happier. Rodney was very communicative throughout the planning process, which put us at ease. The songs we chose for our wedding and his style of music was exactly what we wanted to make our special day perfect. We gave Rodney a long list of must-play songs for the reception and he expertly wove them into his existing playlist. Our venue required three different speaker set-ups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and our DJ, Richard, was very adaptable in doing so. “Fun Squad DJs were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was great - when we forgot to update them on a time change, they fixed the problem for us effortlessly. The quality of their work and value was wonderful, and we truly appreciated all they did. It was a 100 degrees on our wedding day, so the lights we had paid for would have been useless, but Lane was sweet enough to set up an amazing audio guestbook instead that was a huge hit. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
