“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “I’d like to start by stating that I am bad with music. I don’t know song names and I mumble every song… Luke asked me about the crowd, the theme, and targeted music genres. I answered 2 out of the 3 questions... In regards to the music question, all I gave him was my idea of the set list… Literally my description was “Something that you had on your iPod long ago that you can still sing today and isn’t super niche”…. Shortly after he had a small list of songs that we went through. We kept some and removed some, but the songs we removed he asked why and thought of replacements. On the day of the event he brought his high quality equipment and began his craft, that is providing a great party experience. Every single person in there sang and danced from 730 to 10. Everyone also asked who he was and how the he kept nailing song after song with beautiful transitions in between. I respect many lines of work/professions, but I really appreciate and respect those who are passionate and hard working within their line of work. Luke is definitely someone who works hard and goes above and beyond to make sure the party is of high spirits, good energy, and inclusive!”

Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

It really says something when other vendors only have great things to say! He did such a wonderful job on our wedding day and really kepted everything flowing smoothly with no hiccups. Our ceremony sounds was absolutely perfect and the microphones were sooo easy to use and captured all the sound perfectly. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took! From the moment we met Jon, he was just so easy to talk to and knew exactly what we wanted for the day when we shared our vision. Jon is so professional, supportive, and positive, and I can't imagine having someone else on our special day. He is definitely worth the money and I would hire him again without a doubt for any event!”

“Crow DJ was easy for work with. Their Photo Booth was EXCELLENT - great quality printing and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint, not really a big deal, but our guests were leaving by 9PM and our agenda was not following it. By 9PM, the dance floor was quite empty and lots of songs were not played ( last song for example). We also had to pointed out to Mike that our favorite band - The Smiths were not played during the night. We had a huge Spotify playlist, but we were hoping that at least one song of each band/ group would be played. Otherwise they were great.”

“I found MixMasters Entertainment through my wedding venue, and I am so grateful that I did! From the beginning they were very professional, and their planning portal was very easy to navigate to share our wedding/timeline information along with conveying our music tastes. Additionally, Chris is very quick to respond to questions and provide thorough answers, which made planning that much easier! Closer to the wedding we had a call with DJ Nick, and he was both professional and personable-- we had a great conversation with him and clicked instantly! We went over all of the little details in our call that way the wedding day went smoothly. It was also a great opportunity to talk about music choices and vibes for dancing, which were executed perfectly at the reception! And due to specific circumstances, he was able to offer us a great deal on uplighting and I'm so happy we went for it! It really transformed the venue for dancing and brought so much energy. On the wedding day DJ Nick knew exactly what to do without having to ask us questions and made sure everything ran smoothly on his end from set up to wedding party introductions to toasts to dancing and clean up. I also want to note that him and his wife Erin were very sweet to let my nephew (who's 5) "help" them with sound checks which I know he had a blast with. They/my sister had the idea of my nephew introducing my husband and I for the reception, and I thought it was such a sweet idea! And DJ Nick checked with me personally to make sure I wanted this change rather than relying on secondhand confirmation, which I really appreciated! And the dancing! We really did dance the night away in the best way possible. The song choices were great as well as the transitions, and again the uplighting really did bring an extra energy to the space which was fantastic. DJ Nick was able to read the crowd in order to change up song vibes and keep the energy up the whole night. I felt like I couldn't step away from the dance floor! And towards the end of the night when it was all the 20 somethings left on the dance floor the microphone came out and it was so much fun!! Again, everything that happened really fit the vibe and I could tell everyone was having so much fun. Nick also went above and beyond for us: a few days after our wedding he sent us a Spotify playlist of all the songs played at our wedding and a Google Photos album of all the pictures/videos he took at the wedding! It was a really kind and thoughtful thing to do. In summary: Chris and Nick are very professional in their work, are fantastic at their jobs, can pick up a vibe and immediately run with it, and in general are just very kind people. I will be recommending MixMasters any chance I get!”
