“Snow Mountain Ranch was the best venue for our wedding. We reserved a family reunion cabin for our family to stay on-site all weekend, while our friends booked rooms at the lodges, and everyone was able to participate in summer camp activities. A highlight was the tubing hill and the waterfall hike! We also reserved the Mountain Air Cookout Shelter for the reception, and we were able to choose our own caterers. We opted for a pizza truck and a paella chef, and they were a big hit! The shelter was perfectly rustic and had a mountain vibe with excellent views, and SMR provided lawn games outside during our cocktail hour. We were also happy that we could bring our dogs to the reception, and they had a fun time too. There was also a fire pit at the reception site, so we lit a campfire when it got cold after dark. SMR also put us in touch with a local bartender and DJ, Marcie, who knew the venue well and kept the drinks flowing and the dance floor packed all night. The event coordinator, Stephanie, was very communicative throughout the planning process, and I think that everything went perfectly!”

“Our wedding at Granby Ranch was a dream come true. The venue is simply gorgeous with its picturesque mountain views and quaint, nature-filled setting. Jennifer and her team were so responsive, thoughtful, and quick in all of our communications leading up to the big day. We felt they really listened to what we envisioned for our wedding and worked hard to make it happen. Jennifer hosted a private tasting for us to sample catering options, which was above and beyond. We collaborated to create a custom bar package that gave our guests plenty of drink varieties to enjoy. On the wedding day, Jennifer and staff flawlessly executed everything we had planned together. From the ceremony overlooking the mountains to the reception in the beautiful lodge, it was magical. If you want a wedding with nature at the very center of the day, look no further than Granby Ranch. Their team and venue are top notch.”

“We are from out of state, so we chose Echo Mountain sight unseen September of last year. We watched a very helpful video tour, but we visited for the first time this past April before our wedding. Mountain views and good food were our main priorities, and they sure delivered on both of them. We communicated with three event coordinators, but Rachel was our main point of contact and our coordinator for the day of our wedding. I cannot emphasize enough how friendly, helpful, organized and just incredible to work with she was. She was so helpful with timeline management for the day because we didn’t hire an outside coordinator. She made sure our guests knew where to go, made sure my husband and I had food (didn’t realize how important this was with how busy the day gets), and was so helpful coordinating with our DJ and photographers. We had our tasting at our April visit, and we loved the food Chef Hayden prepared. We chose to have our catering by Echo (they do have an option to allow outside catering), and we had so many guests compliment the food, both the appetizers and the dinner. Our ceremony site was outside with sweeping mountain views, and our reception dinner and dancing was inside the primary lodge. They also have a large white tent as a backup if needed for weather. We cannot say enough good things about Echo, the venue itself and the staff, and we are so happy we chose it for our wedding.”

“We were so lucky to book this venue for our wedding on 08/30/25 — it truly made our dream come true. You can immediately tell that this is a well-run, professional, and caring venue. During our initial tour at WBL, Codi was incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel so comfortable. We fell in love with the venue right away. Here’s a breakdown of the highlights we think you’ll love when considering this venue: View: The view is what sealed the deal for us. The outdoor ceremony space is absolutely breathtaking. They even have “alcoholic llamas” (our nickname for them!) that carry beverages on their backs. We had them during our cocktail hour, and our guests LOVED it. Cost: The venue includes catering and several beverage package options. The pricing is reasonable and not overly expensive for this area, especially considering everything that’s included. Food: Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food — it was delicious! We even had them incorporate local wild mushrooms into our menu, which was such a special touch. Location: Our guests stayed in Estes Park, and we arranged a shuttle service to and from the lodge. It made transportation easy and convenient for everyone. Amenities: The venue recently underwent renovations, and everything looks beautiful. My hair and makeup artists, photographer, and videographer all commented on how stunning the bridal suite was. There are two adjoining rooms — one with plenty of vanity mirrors and another with private curtained sections for changing. Coordinator: Now for the best part — the coordination team! Lauren was our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely AMAZING. She stayed on top of every detail throughout the planning process and took such great care of us on our wedding day. She always responded promptly to my (many!) emails and was incredibly helpful and kind. On the big day, Lauren handled everything — setting up décor, keeping the timeline on track, coordinating with vendors, checking in with our families, and even making sure we were fed whenever possible. I have no idea how she managed it all while still smiling the entire time! The entire WBL team was fantastic — well-coordinated, attentive, and professional. Because of them, we were able to truly relax and enjoy our day without any stress. We are so thankful to WBL for giving us such a seamless, magical wedding experience. It was truly the most beautiful day of our lives. With love, Kearny and Ryan”

“Flagstaff House was incredible! They were such a great venue. Annie was our event planner, and she was perfect - professional, friendly, and so helpful helping everything run smoothly day of. The venue itself was beautiful and did a great job helping us plan for any weather scenario. The food was INCREDIBLE - each of the dishes were delicious and the cake was just as beautiful as it was delicious. It ended up being a surprisingly budget friendly option as well - although the price for food is higher than most places, the fact that the restaurant provided everything needed for the lunch including custom menus, the cake, and all of the linens/chairs/tables/table numbers/etc. meant that the total price ended up being a great value.”

From quality coffee and handcrafted cocktails to our duck pond and the peaceful flow of the Big Thompson River, everything we do is rooted in one simple belief: people deserve a space that helps them slow down, connect, and celebrate the moments that matter. Our story began in 2007 with Coffee on the Rocks. We wanted to build a cozy spot where locals and visitors could enjoy a warm drink, watch the wildlife wander by, and take in the beauty of Estes Park. Coffee on the Rocks became a gathering place and a reminder of how special it is to enjoy the mountains with loved ones. People kept asking if they could host events here to celebrate life’s biggest moments. In 2022, we made it happen. Venue on the Rocks was born to celebrate with warmth, ease, and natural beauty that turns celebrations into unforgettable memories. No matter what you’re celebrating with us, we look forward to helping you feel calm, cared for, and completely ready to enjoy your day.

Why you'll love this venue

“Venue on the Rocks was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding day. The team provided detailed information and took time to explain everything during the planning process, which made us feel confident and prepared. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous and worth the investment. However, we noticed the communication shifted on the day of the event—the staff seemed less patient and engaged than they had been before, which caught us off guard. We're grateful we hired our own day-of coordinator to help manage logistics, as that support was essential. Overall, we'd recommend the venue for its stunning setting, though couples should consider bringing in extra coordination help to ensure the experience stays smooth from start to finish.”

Planning: GBI team was incredibly detailed and caring about the nuances of planning our event. We received endless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony site, cocktail hour location, and dining room were. You really feel like you're in a magical oasis. Food & Drink: The food is a highlight of this venue since they are a fine dining restaurant! The appetizers were a hit, especially the mini beef wellingtons. People loved the cupcakes, even though I didn't get the chance to try it! About wedding venues in Tabernash, CO

What Makes Colorado's Wedding Venues Unique?

Colorado's wedding venues offer something truly special, blending architectural diversity with stunning natural scenery. You'll find sophisticated urban elegance at the Grand Hyatt Denver right alongside the rustic charm of Spruce Mountain Ranch. Every window at the Flagstaff House Restaurant frames breathtaking mountain vistas while Tapestry House By Wedgewood Weddings pairs Victorian beauty with meticulously maintained gardens. Mountain View Ranch takes indoor-outdoor flow to the next level with retractable walls that let you seamlessly connect with nature while keeping guests comfortable. When it comes to costs you'll be pleasantly surprised - Colorado venues typically run between $6,000 and $6,800, which falls on the lower end of what you'd pay nationally where prices range from $6,500 to $12,000.

How Much Does a Colorado Mountain Wedding Cost?

Planning a Colorado mountain wedding for 150 guests? You're looking at around $46,999 total. Here's how that breaks down across your key vendors: - Florists: 16% ($7,466) - Venues: 14% ($6,399) - Catering: 11% ($5,119) - Photography: 10% ($4,622) - Videography: 9% ($4,124) - Wedding Planning: 9% ($4,124) - Bar Services: 9% ($4,095) - Bands and DJs: 3% ($1,500) - Cake and Desserts: 2% ($801) - Hair and Makeup: 1% ($670)

When Should You Book Colorado Wedding Services?

Timing is everything when planning your Colorado wedding. Start with your venue 13 months out - that's 390 days before your big day. Your photographer and wedding planner should be next on the list about 10 months ahead. Most other vendors including your florist caterer and videographer need about 9 months' notice while hair and makeup artists typically want 8 months' heads up. Planning a fall wedding? Book even earlier since September sees the highest demand.

Which Colorado Mountain Regions Offer the Best Wedding Settings?

You'll find perfect settings year-round in Colorado's mountains. The Grange shows off spectacular fall colors with its aspen groves while Della Terra lets you host cozy outdoor ceremonies with snowy peaks as your backdrop. Spring brings wildflower meadows at Wild Basin Lodge and summer celebrations shine under Balistreri Vineyards' pergola-covered patio. September proves most popular combining perfect temperatures with reliable weather.

How Do Denver Wedding Venues Compare to Mountain Locations?

Whether you're drawn to city sophistication or mountain majesty Colorado's got you covered. Craftwood Peak puts you face-to-face with Pikes Peak while The Simon offers industrial-chic style with Denver skyline views. You can celebrate in the historic Kirk Of Highland or surrounded by Garden of the Gods' stunning red rocks. City venues like Rooftop1630 deliver urban views while mountain locations connect you directly with nature.

What Weather Contingencies Do Colorado Venues Provide?

Colorado venues know how to handle whatever weather comes your way. Mount Vernon Canyon Club keeps you connected to the views through its glass-enclosed reception space while Church Ranch Event Center offers multiple indoor ceremony spots with mountain vistas through massive windows. Want a winter ceremony? Ashley Ridge has heated outdoor pavilions and Meadow Creek Lodge keeps everyone comfortable with covered walkways between venues.

Where Can You Find All-Inclusive Colorado Wedding Packages?

Looking to simplify your planning? Wedgewood Weddings properties across Colorado including Tapestry House and Mountain View Ranch handle everything from catering to coordination. The Grand Hyatt Denver includes room blocks with their packages while Balistreri Vineyards wraps up wine service catering and coordination in one easy contract. These venues make planning easier with dedicated coordinators managing timelines and vendor teams.
