About this venue
Freight is situated in the shadow of Mt. Elbert, Colorado’s highest fourteener. A passenger train still puffs by the window every afternoon. The gorgeous, fully restored depot holds over 200 people, making it a perfect event venue, conference center, or wedding venue in Leadville, Colorado. Along with the barn-like depot, the property includes an elegant courtyard, retrofitted whisky lime lounge in a historic shed, and conference room for workshops and intimate family gatherings.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have an ADA compliant cabin for overnight guests.

Yes! Our parking is conveniently located just steps outside of the Depot!
We love furry friends and encourage you to bring them alone for the wedding and any overnight trips.
Included in the rental fee is all tables and chairs, linens, glassware, event staff, and our in-house day of coordinator.
