About this venue

Where the Wild Things Wed: Immerse in nature with rivers, ponds, trails, and cozy cabins. A century-old guest ranch that has been transformed into a creative art retreat, our land is nestled deep in the Rocky Mountain wilderness near Aspen, Colorado. A magical long weekend with family and friends, creating unforgettable memories in a beautiful, intimate setting. We specialize in 2-3 night buyouts of our whole venue where your loved ones can spend quality time together, explore our trails and art installations and relax in our onsen with sauna, cold plunge and hot tub. On weekdays, sundays + low season (nov-may) you can come to us for just 1 night, or even just your ceremony, reception or elopement. High season weekends are reserved for full property buyouts with a 50 person minimum staying onsite 2-3 nights. Farm to table organic catering, customizable bar offerings, and a long table reception dinner in the aspens are all a part of our offering.

Beyul is a wonderful place! In many ways it is like a step back in time. Everyone is friendly and unhurried. The absence of WiFi and TV in the cabins is an absolute plus! Please do not change that. The limited lighting is more than adequate and allows guests to actually see the stars, clouds and moon. The lodge is quaint and has connectivity if one must “connect”. Being away from chaos, electronic devices, noise and light is much of the draw of Beyul. We plan to come back, possibly at a time when meals are available as we have heard how tasty, healthy and special they are.

Beyul Retreat offers a fantastic opportunity to step away from your day-to-day and be one with nature and your inner self. The staff onsite are beyond accommodating and remarkably kind. One of our team members was feeling the effects of the altitude and Gwen/Jeremiah took personal care of her well into the night, and ensured she was comfortable as could be. The meals were top notch! and this comes from a city girl! I was extremely impressed by the variety and quality of the food.

I recently had the pleasure of attending Beyul retreat and I was blown away. The food was INCREDIBLE, service and staff so friendly, and the location and experience was a core part of the value of the retreat. 10/10 recommend.

I would have given the location 100 stars if I could. Was the most beautiful place I have ever been. I stayed in one of the smaller cabins and it was very comfortable. I was there for my sister's wedding and the staff was awesome making sure everything went well. The meals were all tasty and plentiful. Would go back in a minute if I got the chance.

No. Per our liquor license, all alcohol consumed on property must be purchased and served through Beyul Retreat. Beyul does not accommodate custom alcohol orders. Our team works closely with distributors to provide house-selected liquors and local Colorado beers. Please note that our liquor, wine, and beer selections may vary slightly based on distributor availability, but we always strive to provide comparable, high-quality alternatives.

Beyul Retreat offers a 50% discount on up to 10 vendor meals. Any additional vendor meals beyond 10 will be charged at full price. Please refer to your vendor contracts to determine which vendors you, as the host, are responsible for providing meals for. Beyul Retreat is not responsible for providing complimentary meals to vendors. For any meals served buffet style, vendors will go through the line after all guests have made themselves a plate. For any meals served in an alternative location, vendor meals will be boxed to be set aside in the main lodge for later consumption.
The event tent is 32' wide x 52' long, 1,664 sq ft, 19' peak height, 7' 6" eave height. There is a stage for presentations and bands. The stage is 20' x 8' (can be extended to 20' x 12'). Walls can be rolled up in the summer or closed and heated in the winter. To ensure safety and compliance, all draping within the tent must be approved in advance and meet applicable fire code requirements, including Roaring Fork Fire standards and IFC 3104.2 flame propagation criteria.
The dining patio located outside the main lodge is 20x40 feet, 800 sq feet. It is covered by a shade canopy. This is the standard location for all meals. The buffet will be located inside the main lodge. This location can fit up to 96 people in 3 long tables. Additional configurations are available.

Beyul is responsible for all setup, takedown, and movement of our furniture as needed throughout the event. If you bring in any additional decor including flowers and table settings, you are responsible for setting up and taking down your own additions. If Beyul decor is requested to be removed from spaces, an additional fee will be incurred.
