Hal is messy and disrespectful. My friends and I decided to stop by after seeing the 4.8 star rating, curious to see what all the hype was about. When we arrived, we were the only customers in the bar, yet he seemed in no hurry to attend to us. After finally serving us, he continued making negative comments about us to other customers. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful. Customers should feel welcomed and comfortable, not ignored and then talked about in front of your face. The high rating made us want to give this place a chance, but our experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, the service and attitude we encountered did not live up to the expectations set by the reviews.

Richard, the night manager, was awesome from the minute we pulled up. He opened the car door, welcomed us in, and then somehow went straight from doing that to hopping behind the desk and checking us in. He was personable, funny, and just genuinely nice. He also introduced us to Steven, the concierge, who gave us some great recommendations and was really helpful. The next day we saw Richard over at the Gambit Bar helping out there too. Honestly, the guy seemed to be everywhere. It was actually really nice to see the hotel manager so involved and present throughout the property. You can tell he cares about what’s going on and his team. The only hiccup was that we had some water temperature issues in our room. We called down, and Richard moved us to another room right away with no hassle, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The people really made the experience for us. We’ll be back!
