Black Mountain Lodge is a mountainside wedding venue located in Dillon, CO. Sitting at an impressive 11,500 feet above ground level, this stunning event center is the perfect place to begin married life. You and your guests can access the lodge by chairlift, taking in the majestic views and spectacular scenery along the way.

The beautiful deck of our Black Mountain Lodge is our main wedding venue and is located at mid-mountain, accessed primarily by chairlift. The building is surrounded by the towering, 13,000-foot peaks of the Continental Divide and overlooks large fields of wildflowers.

Black Mountain Lodge accommodates up to 200 guests. This romantic wedding venue is adorned with vaulted ceilings, timber and stone design elements, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Our lodge provides convenient spaces for your ceremony and reception, eliminating the stress of switching venues during your day. You also have the ability to transform the open floor plan to your specifications—leave space for dancing or create a special space to cut the cake.

AMAZING
Abasin was truly the most wonderful venue! Louise and the team were so easy to work with, and made the wedding planning process simple and enjoyable. The food was amazing, the staff at the wedding were wonderful, and the whole day went seamlessly. The outdoor ceremony is truly breathtaking, and the chairlift rides made the wedding extra special. I definitely recommend abasin for a unique, meaningful, and beautiful venue. Our guests had the best time and the wedding itself was really beyond our expectations.

Amazing Day with help from a Great Venue
We could not have imagined a better wedding day and A-Basin/Louise made that possible. From the initial quote and tour, through the whole process, to day of. They were so helpful and upfront with cost and what to expect from a wedding there. They were so organized and helped plan the schedule, even making sure we set aside time for sunset pictures. The food was amazing, we thought so, and got many comments from guests as well in shock of how good "ski resort" food could be. I wish I could plan another event here because it was truly amazing.

Our wedding day at A-Basin was absolutely perfect, and we could not be more grateful to the entire team. Lindsay and Louise were incredible throughout the entire planning process. They were communicative, responsive, and so helpful every step of the way. We loved how customizable everything was, allowing us to create a wedding day that felt uniquely ours. The food was outstanding and received countless compliments from our guests. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an exceptional experience, from serving plenty of delicious food to offering thoughtful, attentive service throughout the day. Even the little details, like batching our signature cocktails to keep bar lines short, made a huge difference and allowed guests to spend more time celebrating. A-Basin is truly one of the most beautiful and unique wedding venues in Colorado. Our guests loved riding the chairlift, and the mountain scenery made for breathtaking photos that we will cherish forever. The venue perfectly captures the magic of a Colorado mountain wedding. We are so thankful to the entire A-Basin team for making our day seamless, memorable, and everything we dreamed it would be. We would recommend A-Basin to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding experience.

Arapahoe Basin was the perfect Colorado ski wedding venue for our special day. The team's communication was excellent - they were thorough, detailed, and experienced in coordinating all the logistics. They provided a detailed timeline to ensure everything went smoothly, and were invested in making sure our day was amazing. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with the beautiful mountain backdrop. One suggestion would be to have an option for food or snacks at the base while guests are waiting to be transported up to the venue. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better location and team to host our wedding. We highly recommend Arapahoe Basin to any couples looking for a unique and memorable Colorado wedding experience for you and your guest.
