My approach is a more natural and laid-back journalistic style. I am fun, down-to-earth, and creative. My easy-going personality helps create an environment where you can relax and be yourselves - and have fun! I excel at capturing the scenery and feel of your location while still showcasing you and your personalities. I bring over 21 years of wedding experience into my work so I have the skills needed to do an amazing job in any location. I am very keen to provide outstanding service during the whole process and to make my contribution to your wedding day a memorable one.

Besides being a ninja on your wedding day, there are many other reasons to choose me. Something unique I offer are high-definition panoramic photos, which are multiple photos (with you in them) stitched together to create an amazing piece of art for the wall above your favorite furniture. Besides getting every image in custom black-and-white and color, I also create select artistic edits for another cool art piece for your walls. You also get a TON of photos to choose from and receive over 100 images for every hour of coverage. I don't hold back with all the candid moments I capture.

    10/10 HIGHLY recommend!!

    I cannot say enough good things about this photographer!! I found his site while searching for a photographer in the NOCO area to take some "couples photos" in the mountains to commemorate our elopement. He responded to my inquiry quickly and understood what I was trying to accomplish. His pricing was surprisingly reasonable given the quality of work I saw on his site. The photoshoot went very smoothly. He was really familiar with Rocky Mountain National Park and knew some good spots in the areas we wanted to take pictures. I'm not *at all* comfy or experienced in front of the camera, so I was a little nervy going into it about looking awkward or stiff in the pictures. But Mark made everything feel super comfortable and gave us direction as we went along. When we got the pictures back, I was BLOWN AWAY. They were absolutely stunning. The mountain landscapes in the background looked unreal. And I was extremely pleasantly surprised at how flattering the pictures were of my husband and myself. (I always joke that cameras hate me b/c I can't take a good picture to save my life.) But the pictures from this photoshoot taken by Mark, genuinely, are the most beautiful I've ever seen myself look in a picture. I couldn't be happier with my experience and the pictures I received from Mark. 10 out of 10. 5 stars. HIGHLY, highly recommend!!

    Mark is the calm in the chaos! Highly recommend!

    We hired Mark as both our engagement and wedding photographer. As two individuals who typically feel extremely uncomfortable and unnatural in front of the camera, we were worried about how our engagement and wedding photographs would turn out, but we both knew how important having great photos was for both of us. From the very first meeting with Mark, we were extremely relieved to learn right away that he made us both feel comfortable and quickly felt like a fit. He made us feel as comfortable as possible and he made our engagement photo experience fun. Fast forward to our wedding day, and in a day filled with pure chaos and anxiety, Mark was a constant sense of calm, making us feel at ease, letting us focus on all the beautiful parts of our day knowing he would capture every special moment. Mark had our confidence and trust the entire way and he did not disappoint. He made sure that the chaos of the day did not disrupt the goals we had for capturing our memories exactly as we had hoped and planned with him in the weeks prior. He was organized, efficient and took the stress away from us. We are so thrilled with how gorgeous our day was captured. Our photos exceed our expectations and bring us to tears.     Mark Creery Photography Review

    Mark was so easy and fun to work with. He was flexible and funny. Before my wedding started, it was a little chaotic and stressful (running a little late) and he gave me reassurance and made sure to get a first touch picture that my husband and I wanted. He added nice jokes during the bridal party photo section. Mark did great with posed and candid photos. His quality was great and we love the photos!!! He was great at communicating up to, on and after our wedding.

Yes. I work with you to personalize your wedding package based on how much coverage you need and any features you want to be included, like an engagement session or album. Since every wedding is unique my couples find my flexibility helpful and refreshing. I can also provide small wedding/elopement packages.
Yes and Yes. With each package, you get the digital images in high-resolution JPEG format that are fully-edited to look their best (including blemish removal if needed). There is no watermark and you can share them with friends and family as you like. I give you a print release so you can print them anywhere you choose. You can also order professional prints through your online gallery which are guaranteed to look beautiful.
I travel throughout Colorado and Wyoming - wherever weddings happen! Travel is the nature of my job given the amazing scenery all over, so I don’t charge an additional fee. If you are having a destination wedding further away I can give you a custom quote. I have experience photographing in many different environments and venues around the world, so I know how to handle any location even if I haven't been there before.
You will generally receive your pictures within six to eight weeks, depending on how busy my workload is or vacations, but it’s usually earlier. I post some soon after the wedding on my business Facebook page and Instagram so you have something to stare at and share while you wait patiently. You will also get an online gallery to easily share your photos and order professional products, such as prints and canvases. While waiting for your photos might seem like forever, your photos are actually forever so I don't want to rush them!
Yes. I use top-of-the-line Nikon equipment, with multiple backup camera bodies and lenses in the rare case of equipment damage. My camera gear is also water-resistant, which means I don't have to run for cover when raindrops start falling. My high-quality cameras also allow me to photograph in very low-light settings, often without even using a flash to add light, which is very useful for church weddings where I don't want to detract from the solemn nature of the event or flashes are not allowed. I also have a camera body with a silent shutter so I can play ninja, perfect for those quiet moments during ceremonies when you can hear a pin drop.
