How many lead planners do you have in your company?

Accepted Answer

I am the ultimate Type A personality and will only continue to expand my company as long as I am still the person onsite for every client's wedding. My FOMO would be too high if I had another lead planner executing a client's day. That said, I have one lead planner, and it is ME! I have a team of assistants who work alongside me on-site to provide the ultimate experience for you, but it will be me you work with every step of the way.

How long have you been planning events/weddings? What is your favorite part?

I started in the industry in 2014, but my focus was primarily on large corporate events at the time. We are talking 14,000-person events! It was not until 2020 that I decided to focus solely on weddings/personal events. This was the best decision I ever made! Weddings are often clients' most anticipated/exciting day yet, and they deserve a team of vendors who don't treat this like a 9 to 5. My favorite part of a wedding is the Grand Entrance. The couple is no longer nervous and can actually appreciate that they are running into a room with all of their favorite people, celebrating their love for each other. It is just pure joy and excitement.

Who is your ideal client?

Accepted Answer

My ideal client wants their event to be personal to them as a couple, not cookie cutter or a copy paste. My ideal client wants to be present with eachother as much as they want to be present with their guests. They care about event design and love creativity, even if they aren't creative themselves. My ideal client is a strong communicator of their expectations, goals, ideas, and vision. But most of all, my ideal client wants to have fun and is willing to trust me to help them make that happen!

What is one of the coolest things you have had a client do in the past?

This one is tough, but one of my favorite things I have done with a past client was having a zaffe lead the wedding party into the reception. A zaffe is a Lebanese tradition that includes live music and dancers. This particular one included a group of five drummers and four belly dancers. I have never seen so much energy in a room, the guests were going wild! It was an incredible start to the reception and so fun to honor their culture on their wedding day.

How many hours of on-site management do your packages include?

All packages include up to 12 hours of on-site management on the Wedding Day. I always joke that I want to be the first vendor in the door and help the venue manager shut off the lights at the night's end. Additional hours can be purchased if needed.

For destination weddings outside of Colorado, I require clients to book the Full Service Package I offer. My Destination Wedding Packages include all the services of a Full Service Planner, in addition to site visits, and vendor visits leading up to the wedding weekend.	This is perfect for the couples who want to be a part of the planning experience, but want a side-kick to help them along the way and make sure they are on track.	This package is perfect for the couples that are excited to wedding plan and feel confident taking it on themselves, but need someone taking over as the day nears to execute their vision. This package starts 6 weeks before the wedding date.
