I started photographing weddings in 2021, and it ignited a passion in me that I haven't been able to turn off. After capturing nearly 100 weddings for other businesses, I decided it was time to open my own. When you don't find me with a camera in hand, you'll find me cheering from the stands at my son's hockey games, grinding in the gym on leg day, busy in the kitchen making my famous shepherd's pie, or lounged on the couch with a cup of coffee and a playlist, scribbling stories in my notebook.

I focus on documenting not only the big moments, but the more important moments in between. Those big laughs, the tears. When everything goes as planned, and when everything goes comically awry.     Extensive knowledge and experience!

    Hillary was just the best and only option for us to have had at our wedding. She was prompt with her direction and beyond creative with her visions for our photos. The quality was stunning and our gallery was extensive. She helped with things throughout the day as making sure I ate my meal and even adjusted my veil in my hair. Couldn't recommend her or her work more.

    The Beat Choice I Made For My Wedding!

    Hillary was quite literally the best choice we made for our wedding. Not only did we get beautifully captured memories, but she helped with timeline planning, helped me bustle my dress, and danced with us all night. She was friendly, organized, approachable, and most importantly, she was mindful and flexible with finding poses for family photos to include my father who has Parkinson’s. He wanted to be included and “normal” as much as he could, and she made that possible. I couldn’t be more grateful.

    We cannot recommend Hillary highly enough! From our very first inquiry email to receiving the final gallery, the entire experience was seamless, professional, and genuinely joyful.

While I do not offer traditional videography, I do offer content creation! This is a primarily video heavy service with secondary candid photos & is a new addition to my offerings, starting at $900. This service consists of recording video in a vertical format, focusing on the small, in between moments that you otherwise might miss or forget as the excitement of the day wears away. Raw footage is delivered within 24 hours digitally, & for packages that include edited footage, those are delivered typically within 8 weeks. Add on services include a second creator, polaroids, film, drone services, & add on ceremony video on a traditional camera.
I do! For packages that include a second photographer, I have many colleagues that have worked with me numerous times. Each one has been meticulously trained to work seamlessly alongside me, so the upbeat energy continues no matter who's camera is pointed at you. Additionally, each of my assistants have been trained to anticipate my needs when it comes to lighting and gear, for smooth, seamless wedding days.
Couples typically book me anywhere from 9 to 18 months prior to the wedding day. While I may be able to accommodate shorter planning time frames, you'll have the best chance of snagging me up for your wedding day if you're planning early. If you do have your heart set on me and my style, but I'm not available for your date, I encourage you to reach out anyway! I have a number of associates I have trained to photograph your day just as I would, and if you choose to have one of my associates photograph your day, I will still be the one to do all of your planning and editing.
This truly depends on your wedding day and the events that you have planned. For collections that include one photographer, you can expect a final edited gallery of 40-80 images per hour of coverage. For collections that include two photographers, you can expect a range of 60-100 images per hour of coverage. The more events you plan for your day, the more images you'll have. Days with bouquet tosses, anniversary dances, first looks, & other optional events naturally receive more final images. More things to capture = More photos delivered! If you don't plan these things for your day, that's okay. I'll do my best to maximize your gallery
My editing time varies by season. For full weddings that occur between April and November, your final gallery will be delivered no later than 12 weeks after your wedding. For weddings that occur in December through March, your final gallery will be delivered no later than 8 weeks after your wedding. Elopement galleries (1-4 hour coverages) will be delivered within 6 weeks of the elopement.
Absolutely! I go through all of the images taken on your day and select the best ones, getting rid of any that aren't in focus, blinking, or duplicate images. I then carefully edit all of the remaining images for color, blemishes, and straightening/cropping when needed.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Of course! I have photographed weddings in PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA, Multiple cities in Massachusetts, New York City, Las Vegas, Aspen, Cincinatti, Orlando, and Dallas. I would love to grow this list with your wedding! Weddings that require me to travel long distances may require reasonable travel fees. These are always researched and discussed prior to you booking and signing a contract, so we can ensure there is full transparency and affordability for your budget.
