About this venue
You and your guests will have exclusive use of one of our wedding venues on our Colorado Ranch. We host only one event per day, per location. Conveniently located one hour north of Denver, Colorado and one hour south of southern Wyoming in the Sweetheart City of Loveland, Colorado, Ellis Ranch is your perfect Colorado wedding location. Our family and staff at the Ellis Ranch wedding site are here to help make your day special. We’ve been building a lifetime of memories for more than 60 years.

The Event Center is your perfect outdoor ceremony site with an indoor reception site. The Event Center gives you the feeling of a rustic, country style with little decorating needed.

Carriage House
The Ellis Ranch Carriage House is perfect for for your smaller, more intimate weddings, wedding receptions, and events.
This space has a 3,000 sq. ft. deck that is perfect for your cocktail hour after the ceremony, dancing after dinner and a gathering place for the perfect reception. The dinner area has a covered pavilion with sides that roll up and down in case of weather. This is the perfect combination of an outdoor wedding venue with both a rustic and country feel.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue than Ellis Ranch Event Center for our wedding day. The property is absolutely stunning—peaceful, rustic, and full of natural beauty that created the most incredible backdrop for our celebration. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the one. Shawn and Kim were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were incredibly responsive, easygoing, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Whether we had questions, needed advice, or last-minute changes, they were always there with a solution and a smile. We’ve had so many guests tell us how beautiful the venue was and how much they loved the setting. Ellis Ranch has such a special charm, and it truly made our day feel magical. We’re so grateful to Shawn and Kim for helping bring our wedding vision to life!

From the moment we toured Ellis Ranch Event Center, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The communication with the team was always good, helpful and open, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of our wedding, the venue was absolutely magical - the rustic, beautiful setting was more wonderful than we could have imagined. The bartender, Ted, was a highlight, providing excellent service with a wonderful and funny personality that our guests loved. We are so grateful to the entire Ellis Ranch team for helping make our special day truly unforgettable.

The team at Ellis Ranch Event Center was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Their communication via email was very responsive and timely, and they answered all of our questions thoroughly. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with an amazing selection of decor items we had the option of using at an extra cost or you could provide your own - they even let us use their gorgeous cake table as a "wedding gift" which we really appreciated. The quality of their work and the value they provided was top-notch, and we would highly recommend Ellis Ranch Event Center to any couples looking for a stunning and generous wedding venue.

We just had our wedding at the Ellis Ranch Event Center last weekend. It was the perfect venue for my perfect wedding! It is a beautiful space and it is so spacious! There was plenty of room for all of our guests to play games, dance, do the Photo Booth, and have a great time. Plus the owners of Ellis Ranch are so kind and helpful. They helped make our wedding a dream. We also used lots of their recommended vendors and they were all great. I would recommend Ellis Ranch to anyone looking for a fun, beautiful, affordable, and comfortable place to get married.
