“We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the beginning, Wyatt was so easy to work with. He was a quick responder when we had questions, and he really understood our vision for our wedding. His website is user-friendly and the professionalism was unmatched. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). We had a very specific vision where we would have a jazz quartet during the cocktail hour and have the pianist and bassist play classical music during the cocktail hour. “Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. “We cannot recommend Bright Set Entertainment enough! We used Bright Set for our wedding at Mountain View Grand in May 2026 and hired them for our DJ, photo booth, ceremony and reception audio, and piano music. From the very beginning, Cassandra was incredible to work with. We spent over a year planning together, and she was organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and always willing to hop on a call, answer questions, or help think through ideas. One thing that really stood out was how invested Cassandra was in making sure everything ran smoothly. She wasn't just someone behind the scenes coordinating logistics — she was actually onsite for our wedding day and felt like part of our team. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected fire alarm interruption immediately following our first dance that temporarily paused our reception and forced guests outside. Cassandra, alongside our day-of coordinator, immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. When we were finally able to return to the ballroom, she creatively had us reintroduced to "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, which turned a stressful situation into a funny and memorable moment that had everyone laughing. We were so grateful for her ability to stay calm, think quickly, and help keep the energy positive. DJ Dennis was fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room and creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. Guests loved the glow booth and the customized photo overlay, and we ended up with so many great keepsakes from the night. Entertainment-wise, everything was seamless. The ceremony audio, microphones, piano music, reception flow, DJ services, and photo booth were all executed beautifully. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“I've never worked with a DJ as good as Drew and his crew. Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures. If you are looking for a DJ who cares, gets the dance floor going and is easy to work with, BEG Event Group is it. I will be recommending them to all my clients!”
