I've had a camera in my hand since I was at least ten years old. Photography has always been something I've been passionate about. I was the friend that captured all the memories in high school. Once I got older, and more interested in this becoming something real, I decided to start my business in 2018. I've had the pleasure of working with the most loving clients ever since.

For the past 25 years, I’ve photographed weddings in an unobtrusive, documentary style—focused on genuine interactions and the small in-between details that make your day unique. Earlier in my career, I spent 10 years as a photojournalist covering breaking news, sports, and political campaigns, learning to anticipate moments, work fast in changing light, and capture real emotion without staging. When it’s time for portraits, I give gentle direction for natural, flattering images and keep family photos organized and efficient so you can stay present and enjoy your wedding.

Born and raised in Maryland, I’m a creative wedding photographer. A lotta years back I jacked in my safe, noble, health insurance-providing job working with grieving families to follow a little dream I had. I wanted to take pictures. Pictures so beautiful they make people do a little cry. So that’s what I did. I also managed to bring two spirited boys into the world. That means I live a completely outnumbered existence with two males in the house but don’t worry, I’m on top of it. Being a mother is awesome and terrifying in equal measure but I don’t let it define me. Lots of people can be mothers: few can be awesome wedding photographers.

Journalistic style photography based in Western Maryland- but I go wherever you go! I started photographing weddings back in 2021 and since I am a big ole softy for love, I obviously fell in love with it. I like to stay pretty laid back during the day, candid photography is my jam. I believe pictures should tell a story. When you look back at your photos in a year or five, I want you to feel those same emotions you felt that very day. That is what is important to me.
