Capturing love stories through my lens is not just a job but a profound joy that I cherish with every wedding I photograph. It's been six years and I've photographed close to 100 weddings which seems unreal! The photography gene runs in my family, my great-grandfather had his own photography studio in Panama and from there, knowledge of photography was passed down through the generations of my family to me. I believe in always having fun and prioritizing an stress-free lifestyle which translates into my photography style — candid, authentic, and joyful.
I believe that every love story deserves to be captured beautifully and authentically, no matter where or how you choose to celebrate. Highly recommend!
Sophia was absolutely incredible to work with. I’d known her professionally for years before booking her, so I already knew how talented and dependable she was—but she still exceeded every expectation. She made everyone feel comfortable, kept the day running smoothly, and somehow managed to capture every important moment without ever feeling intrusive. The photos turned out amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything came together. If you’re looking for someone who’s both exceptionally professional and genuinely great to work with, I completely recommend Sophia.

Disappointed
Missed the mark
We had a great conversation with Sophia before our wedding and felt really comfortable with her, but unfortunately the day itself was a letdown. She seemed disconnected during the shoot and didn't help us with simple things like dealing with the wind or suggesting unbutton jackets for better still photos. Since she only took one shot of most of the family groups, if someone's eyes were closed we had no backup. Unfortunately, the actual photos don't capture the memories we were hoping to keep. She was honestly the only letdown of our whole day, and that makes it sting even more.

The wind and rain was unexpected for everyone that day, and at your outdoor ceremony venue, it meant some quick decisions by the coordinator and me to protect everyone's hair and outfits. The weather and glare from the windows at the reception venue likely affected people's expressions in some of the family formals as well. I've taken this feedback to heart. I'd be happy to look at specific moments together and discuss revisions where possible if you're open to it. Open communication matters a lot to me, and I care about making this right for you. Book Sophia as your photographer immediately!
Sophia and her team are awesome, so if you have the opportunity, book them ASAP! Sophia is professional, very responsive, and flexible in her client service, and has a great eye and ability to capture the special moments without making it feel forced or intrusive. We gave her team very little direction but they still managed to get all the shots we wanted with a unique and vibrant perspective (which is just what we hoped for), and they were really fun to work with, too. Also, if you’re on the fence about videography - do it! We had only planned to have a photographer, but Sophia told us about a new partnership with Aspect Cinemas so we added a video package and we are so glad we did. Aspect Cinemas put together multiple short videos of the entire evening with amazing video quality, editing and sound. It’s a great way to share our wedding day with friends and family who weren’t able to attend.

Wonderful Experience with Sophia!
My husband and I got married in 2020 and even though our big wedding celebration was pushed back, we continued with our original wedding date and did a smaller wedding. We hired Sophia to photograph that very important day and we are so glad we did! She captured all the major moments and had great ideas for our portrait photos too. We loved how the photos turned out and love to look at the framed ones hanging in our home every day. This was 4 years ago so I can only imagine how her experience has continued to grow in the past 4 years. Definitely recommend hiring Sophia!!!

Beautiful and realistic photos
