Margarita was an absolute pleasure to work with for the surprise engagement I planned while traveling with my fiancé and her family. She was able to help me plan everything within a couple of days time and responded quickly to my inquiry I made through her website. The quality of their work and value was truly outstanding, with natural, affordable, and stunning photos that captured our special day perfectly. Margarita traveled all the way from Baltimore and arrived early to scout the area and help me plan the surprise. We can't wait to have her shoot our wedding and would highly recommend her services to any couple looking for an amazing photography experience.

Layla was a WONDERFUL photographer. We knew from our engagement shoot that she would bring the same positive, warm, and comforting vibe to the wedding day but she exceeded expectations. She brought a second photographer (per our request) that we hadn't met before but both of them connected with all of our wedding guests, captured the most beautiful, intimate, and representative moments. We were sad when they left but not for the lack of photography! It took about 6 weeks to get our photos and they were amazing - we got nearly a thousand edited shots from the day, meaning we'll get to relive the entire night for the rest of our lives.

For a better experience, send an inquiry directly through my website contact form. I'm Ciana, a documentary-style wedding and elopement photographer based along the East Coast, serving adventurous and experience-driven couples all over the world. Using film and digital mediums, I've developed a knack for chasing stories - the kind that are told through landscapes, reinvented traditions, fleeting glances, and wholesome conversations.

I don’t even know where to begin. Ciana is not only so sweet, kind, and personable, but she is also incredibly talented and creative. Her assistant Ryan is equally as great and fun and they make the most perfect team! Together they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We have used them twice, yet it feels like we have known them forever. The first time was for our pregnancy announcement session. Ciana and Ryan literally braved the windy 35 degree weather with gusts up to 40mph with us to help us capture photos to announce this special time in our lives to friends & family. I was so worried the insane wind would ruin our photos, but Ciana reassured me that they would still turn out perfect despite the conditions and to trust her. I truly don’t know how she did it, because they turned out absolutely perfect and beautiful. She truly knows how to capture the raw and genuine moments between a couple. Her attention to detail and the depth she captures in her photos is incredible. And the second time we used her was for our gender reveal, where my husband and I found out the gender of our baby together with our close friends and family. Ciana and Ryan captured absolutely everything about the day that I truly dreamed of. These photos will be forever keepsakes and always hold a place in our hearts. It’s so special to know we will always have these to look back on and smile and reminisce over and to be able to share this incredibly joyful time with our son someday so he can see how we celebrated learning about his life. My husband and I could not recommend Ciana and Ryan enough. They are truly the best team and kindest people. They will not disappoint you at all and will only exceed your wildest expectations. We are already looking forward to our next shoot and to have them continue to be a part of our lives special milestones, big & small over the years the come. It just feels like saying thank you will never be enough, but thank you!!

A dad, a son, a brother and a jack of all trades musician that loves to rock out any chance I get. I grew up in New York City. My inclination towards photography came from classic street photography and photojournalists from all over the world that told their stories through a lens. It made me pick up a camera and start shooting. Now, living in Maryland I shoot all sorts of stories and moments locally, domestically, and abroad. It's taken me a while to figure out what my "thing" is but I've come to figure out that I'm a milestone photographer. The moments your life that have proven to be meaningful -- I'll be there.

If you're looking for a wedding photographer that will go above and beyond, Sam is your man. He was so much more than a photographer. We cared most about the small, beautiful, candid moments people share with one another on a wedding day and Sam captured all of it. He has a magical way of capturing emotions and making everything seem like it is in motion. We had a small family wedding and Sam immersed himself into the day and our families. It was so wonderful. He did the work of three photographers and I'm still not sure how he accomplished it all! More than that, he was there for every little thing we needed. Extra bluetooth speaker? Sam was on it. Hep with boutonnieres? Sam was on it. The photos made us cry and captured the day perfectly. I am so grateful we were one of the few wedding Sam photographed in 2025. If he's available, book him right away!

Hey there, my name is Tia! I'm 27 years old and living in Baltimore, and I've been documenting love stories for the last 9 years. I truly believe I have the best job in the world. In addition to photog, my other loves include dancing, 70s + 80s rock, cooking, anything involving my family and friends, my cat Goose, and watching reality dating shows.

Awarded Best of Zola
Alison and I met Tia when she photographed our friends’ wedding in 2024. We were both in the wedding party, and right away we were blown away by how talented and professional she was. Not long after their wedding, the sneak peeks came out — and they were absolutely breathtaking. So when we got engaged later that year, there was no question who we wanted as our photographer. Even though we’ve only worked with Tia in a professional setting, she has a way of connecting with you on such a personal level that it feels like you’ve known her for years. She’s warm, genuine, and makes you feel completely at ease in front of the camera. I have a big family, and we were a little nervous about getting all the photos done before the ceremony. Tia showed up completely prepared — she had her shot list on her phone mounted to her camera — and somehow managed to keep everything organized and right on schedule. We love her shooting style. It’s natural, candid, and focused on capturing real moments rather than overly posed photos. Of course, we did a few of those, but the candid shots are what truly stand out — the ones where you forget the camera’s even there. Everyone says the photographer is one of the most important vendors for your wedding, and I couldn’t agree more. Tia was absolutely incredible, and we can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Tia, for capturing our day so beautifully and for being such a joy to work with!

I'm Aimee Nguyễn. I’m a sarcastic 28 year old who loves to travel, cook, and snuggle with her cat. I have been photographing all kinds of love since 2017. My main goal on your wedding day is to capture your love and day authentic to you while making you feel comfy and stress-free. I take a lot of my inspiration from dope cinematography and my couples. I want to create visual poetry that speaks to your heart and soul, celebrating all the joy and happiness that surrounds you on your wedding day. My albums are meant to speak to your heart, not just the highlights.

Awarded Best of Zola
Words simply cannot describe how in AWE I am of these photos. Aside from exchanging vows getting pictures to capture our love and the love of all our closest friends and family was most important to me on our wedding day. My husband and I cannot stop looking them and cannot wait to share them with everyone we love. Not only did she artfully capture our personalities and love on this day but she also captured the love between our favorite humans on the dance floor that night. They aren’t just pictures but true pieces of art with gorgeous lighting, angles and details captured perfectly! 10/10 recommend to all!

I believe that photographing a wedding is an act of service as much as it is about creating works of art. I have a passion for photographing couples who are passionate about each other, and excited to make their wedding something special, no matter what that looks like.

We are so happy with our photos! Nathan is incredibly easy to work with. Despite freezing temperatures and my husband being prone to making funny faces in photos, he put us at ease and perfectly captured our day in a personalized way. He also went above and beyond, scoping out the best places to take photos in Old Town and being super flexible with all our requests. Thank you, Nathan!!

Baltimore, MD

  • Starts at $3,900

Please visit my website for more information and to inquire. I am unable to respond to inquires directly sent through Zola due to a paywall. I like to describe my style as a thoughtful balance between creative and timeless. Anticipating and capturing moments charged with spontaneity, joy, humor, and magic are the roots of my passion. Finding and manifesting compelling light & compositions is the heart of my creative process.

Rachel was absolutely incredible as our wedding photographer! She has captured not only my wedding but also my sisters' weddings and all our family photos, and over time, she has truly become part of the family. The engagement shoot was included, and it was incredible—she made us feel so comfortable and captured our connection beautifully. Her ability to make everyone feel relaxed shines through in every photo she takes. Rachel did an amazing job working with the kids, using a tiger puppet named 'Tigey' to capture the most perfect smiles and laughs from my nieces and nephews, which made for some of our favorite photos. What really stood out was how much fun she was to spend the day with! She brought such great energy and made the entire experience enjoyable for everyone. Thanks to Rachel, we have the most stunning memories to look back on. If you're looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely fun photographer, I can't recommend Rachel highly enough!

I am a Baltimore based wedding and engagement photographer, known for my vibrant wedding photos with an authentic, candid style. Her work is excellent, and she does such a great job directing her couples to give them the best photographs. She communicates well and takes the time to make sure couples get everything they need. Nessa K
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Baltimore, MD
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,500

My work lives somewhere between fine art and documentary. I love sitting in quiet observation. Capturing the way clouds drift above a ceremony, the hush of a foggy morning, candlelight flickering after the sun has set. But it’s not just about the setting; it’s about the feeling. How you look at the people you love. The stillness in serene moments. The way the light falls as you hold each other, married and in love. I adore the small moments. Ones that feel personal and unposed. The kind of images that, years from now, take you right back to how it felt. I’m so glad you’ve found my work. I’d be honored to tell your story.

From the moment we booked Nessa K, she was a dream to work with. Her communication was quick, knowledgeable, and kind, putting us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of, Nessa's attention to detail and unique, thoughtful approach resulted in the most beautiful, emotional photos that truly captured the essence of our special day. Her photos made me see my day differently - they stopped time and made the joy and love we felt so real. Nessa's work is truly invaluable, and we are so thankful and happy we chose her to be our wedding photographer. Highly recommended!

Katie Merkle
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Baltimore, MD
  • Photojournalistic style

I want to cover your day in a way that highlights the joy and sincerity that surrounds you and the people you love. Some emotions are unbridled, but most are nuanced and fleeting. When you look back at your set of images, I want you to be transported back to that day and to have those feelings rekindled. My role is to be an observer and a listener. The less time I spend interrupting, the more time I can spend watching, waiting, and capturing the moments that should be remembered. If I’m there to record it, it’ll be without printed pages from other photographers you’d like to see imitated. I'll be there as me – and I’ll be capturing you.

Awarded Best of Zola
My search for a wedding photographer was pretty much a full time job. In fact, it was harder finding a wedding photographer than it was finding a man I wanted to marry. After spending hours and hours searching for the perfect wedding photographer, a google search found me Katie and I knew I had to work with her. From day 1 she was so easy to work with and was willing to work with me on my budget. I was extremely particular when it came to my photos and from the engagement photos to the wedding photos, she really hit it out of the park without me having to describe every little thing. The photos invoked the emotion/feeling I wanted from them and I particularly was wowed by her black and white photos. She clearly knows what she's doing and was able to work efficiently and work around a ton of sudden changes. I was a bundle of nerves on my wedding day and really valued her calm, peaceful demeanor. She truly has an extraordinary style and eye for photography and she's my #1 recommendation for brides looking for timeless wedding photos that transcend what's trending today. We've since worked with her for family photos and she wowed us once again. Honestly I'd have her photograph every momentous occasion of my life if I could. If you go through her portfolio you'll see all different styles of weddings but each photo is stunning. God forbid if I ever have another wedding, partnering with Katie is a no-brainer.

Just a photographer romanticizing my life and yours through creative, intuitive and emotive photos. Hey, I'm Alicia – a wedding photographer with a studio in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm a sap for: nostalgia, ambience, industrial venues, greenhouses, color palettes, fashion, polaroid cameras, black & white photos and making art out of memories. I've been a photographer for over 11 years and have photographed over 300 weddings. My approach to photography is visual storytelling, I find value in every detail that tells the story of your wedding day. To me, your gallery of photos is art, a curated body of work.

We had a fantastic experience with Alicia, who was recommended to us by our day-of coordinator. As a photographer myself, I knew what to look for in a photographer. She was so much fun, approachable, easy to work with, offered so much guidance as far as wardrobe and posing for our engagement shoot (included in our package) and made us feel so at ease at our wedding. We can see ourselves booking her again for future portrait sessions!

Clapp Studios
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Baltimore, MD
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

We are a Baltimore based wedding photography business with an incredible passion for life and love, and here at Clapp Studios we specialize in documenting the emotional moments that add meaning to our customers and their families lives. Beautiful photographs are emotional moments frozen in time for you to remember and revisit with family, friends, or a quiet moment alone - and whether in here in Maryland or at a destination miles away, we strive to create images that will be cherished for generations

Our original wedding plans changed due to the Pandemic and we had no idea what each day would bring, regarding alternate plans. However, we wanted a marriage more than anything (not just a wedding). So we stayed in contact with Mr. Clapp and he remained open to (re) scheduling and accommodating our needs. He kept my nerves at bay by reassuring me that everything would still work out. He took the time to answer all of my questions, even the repeated ones. He answered phone calls, texts, and emails within minutes. The day of the service he was on time and prepared. We had major technical difficulties and delays due to the virtual set up, but he was beyond patient and hung in there with us til the end. During the mania of it all he never made us feel like we were infringing upon his time. The pictures turned out AH-MAAAZING!!! When the complete photo album came, within a week or two, it brought me to tears. The photos were just that beautiful. Mr. Clapp has a gift of capturing every nuance and every emotion. If you want fun, professionalism, variety in poses, ease and comfort on your big day, Mr. Clapp is a sure pick! It truly was like working with family and we are so grateful to him.

First and foremost, congratulations! This is an exciting time! Before I begin with all the details, I would like to do away with the formalities and keep it light. Technically speaking, I’m a photographer, but honestly, since establishing my business in 2014, I would consider myself a teammate through this process. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know couples, their families, their stories, and at the end of the day, becoming a good friend. If this vibes with you, we are off to a good start :) Answering questions, transparency in communication, and prompt responses are important to me and I hope that everything I share resonates.

Awarded Best of Zola
I am not exaggerating when I say that working with Justin was one of the highlights of our wedding. From our initial meeting to sending our final photos (incredibly fast!), working with Justin truly felt like we were working with a friend. We had never taken professional photos together and didn't know what to expect, but he made us feel informed, comfortable, and excited to try something new. Justin also has an innate ability to make taking photos fun. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed having him at our wedding. And the photos speak for themselves; they are simply stunning. Every time we look at them, we're able to not only remember how much fun we had at our wedding, but actually feel the joy from that day once more. We are so grateful to have found Justin and could not recommend working with him more!

5 stars are not enough to represent how fantastic Nicole is! She actually photographed my sister's wedding as well and my family and I were so blown away by the stunning photos that she was the first person I reached out to after getting engaged! Not only are her photos gorgeous, they really captured our emotions and personalities. One of my favorite things about Nicole (aside from her taste in books) is how she prioritizes making each wedding day as personal to the bride and groom as she can. She worked with us to create a stress-free timeline, understand the kind of shots we wanted and the story we wanted to capture, and then brought it to life! She was such a fun presence on our day - the perfect balance of laughing and having fun with us and while also keeping our families and bridal party on track! Hi, I'm Lee. Dreamer, Romantic, Storyteller... Growing up I didn't get it, I can tell you there is more than one photo of me with a bored and anxious look on my face. I can still hear my dad, who has now passed, say "if you don't sit still we will be here all day". As an adult, I now get it. Not being able to talk with my dad everyday or ask for advice, I'm so thankful to have albums full of family photos to hold in my hands. Fast forward to today as a DC wedding photographer, I want this for you. Nothing gives me more pleasure than capturing wedding photos that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.

We were thrilled with the photos Lee took of our wedding and really enjoyed working with him. If you're a bridge/groom to be, do yourself a favor and work with Lee. Often, I'll look at my wedding photos, and it'll brighten my day to see the great photos Lee took. Lee captured our wedding in a photojournalistic style -- catching lots of great candid shots. Of course, he also took portraits and offered helpful suggestions when we weren't sure what we wanted. He's incredibly knowledgable as well as fun and easy to work with. Brea and her team are absolute geniuses at what they do! Brea made us feel so comfortable during our most intimate photo shoots (engagement and first look), and was extremely efficient getting all of our family and friend photos together. The candids are the best part. Brea and her team have a way of capturing moments like no other wedding photographer I've ever seen. We are aboslultely in love with our wedding photos--and the best part--we received the full album less than a month after the wedding! If you want to see where attention to detail, professionalism, lightheartedness & sarcasm meet...let's chat!

Tori was such a pleasure to work with. Her artistry shines through our wedding photos and she was incredibly efficient and professional throughout the process. When our wedding timeline went sideways due to another vendor's mistake, Tori was there to move things along with order and efficiency. She helped organize my big family quickly for wedding photos and captured our organic moments so beautifully that I prefer them to our posed shots. Because of Tori, our timeline got right back on track without having to sacrifice the quality of our photographs! She even calmed me in a moment of tears/panic and assured me "We are not doing a photoshoot. We are capturing your wedding day". This was just what I needed to hear in that moment in order to help me shift focus to what truly mattered that day. Tori's photos are beautiful, natural, artistic, and creative; and she is even more than that. Thank you, Tori for making our wedding day so special and capturing it perfectly :)
