Soulful, with a touch of silly. Experienced, but down-to-earth. For me, it's all about balance – a photographer who'll catch the tearful moment you see your partner down the aisle for the first time and one who will scream-sing Chappell Roan on the dance floor with you at the reception. Best of both worlds, ya feel? Also, making sure that it's said: I proudly cherish & celebrate people of all races, gender expressions, body types, and sexualities.

What sets me apart? Honestly, I think it's my down-to-earth approach - weddings are so important but they really don't HAVE to be stressful. Having a calm yet intentional presence on your special day is pivotal. I'm there to photograph the day, yes. But I'm also there as a friend, ally, assistant, and partner in making certain the day goes smoothly & according to your vision. It's simple but important – and while there are a TON of amazing vendors who understand that & share that sentiment, there are just as many who walk into your day with their own agendas. That's not me. I'm here for YOU & take that commitment seriously.

    10/10 experience!

    We were very happy to work with Olive & Mint Photography from start to finish. She did both our engagement photos and wedding. Tiana responded quickly to our questions and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, which took a lot of stress out of the planning process. On our wedding day, she made sure to capture all the moments that mattered most to us. It rained on the day which was a little stressful but she adapted without missing a beat. The photos came back and it really felt like my vision was captured perfectly. Her work is AMAZING and we would absolutely recommend her to any couple looking for photographers who are both skilled and genuinely easy to work with.

I take selection of second photographers VERY seriously – I have a group of colleagues in the industry that are wedding photographers themselves and have expertise when it comes to shooting a wedding day and file handling. These are pals I'd trust with my own wedding photos and who are all really amazing people. Upon booking, I reach out to them and book based on availability.
Absolutely – I could never imagine asking you to wait 8-10 weeks without a single image from your wedding day. I guarantee a sneak peek gallery of images within a week of the wedding day.
Happily. Though I'm based on the East Coast, I love traveling and capturing stories around the world. Bear in mind that areas outside the DMV area will incur travel and lodging fees.
A lot of people think that just because a photographer hasn't photographed at their particular venue, they won't be able to capture the wedding day with skill and intentionality. With all due respect, this isn't true. When you book a photographer, part of what you're hiring for is whether or not your professional is able to photograph in any situation. With me, you can rest assured: I'm equipped to photograph weddings of all sizes, in all lighting situations and/or weather conditions. Also, if it adds to comfort levels, I'm always willing to go to the venue ahead of time to tour the location and scope things out.

Wedding photos take 8-10 weeks to edit and deliver. Once completed, you'll receive a link to your password-protected photo gallery. You can download all the photos from the gallery as well as share them, choose your favorites, and/or order prints!
