The Elkridge Furnace Inn is the full-service planning and catering company off the banks of the Patapsco River in historic Elkridge. We may be best known for our scenic views, locally sourced & grown ingredients, dedication to hospitality, and outstanding culinary creations. We pride ourselves on delivering the same level of service that made The Elkridge Furnace Inn, Baltimore’s home for exceptional hospitality for over thirty years. Each event is tended to by a EFI Events Specialist to assist in menu planning, timeline creation, vendor recommendations, and all on-site details. We offer professional guidance to ensure your wedding vision is cared for.

Garden House
This whimsical contemporary space in the middle of our gardens, gives lots of flexibility for your big day.
The property is equipped with your very own brick cottage with a private suite for changing, final touch-ups and pre-ceremony pictures as well as beautiful, working gardens. If you want an intimate venue with its own unique charm and personality, the Garden House is just for you.

So, are you ready to have your very own historic manor for a day?
This venue has gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces that a unique backdrop for your big day. The historic mansion with seven rooms, two of which are private suites for changing, final touch-ups and pre-ceremony pictures, a fully climate-controlled, draped tent with twinkle lights, an outdoor ceremony point (yes, there is an indoor option just in case), beautiful gardens & landscaping, handicapped access, free parking, and more. We are a full-service.

From the moment we toured The Eldridge Furnace Inn to the last dance on our wedding day, we knew we had found somewhere truly special. Every single expectation we had was not only met—it was exceeded in every possible way. Our incredible coordinator, Naina, was with us from day one, and I truly can't say enough wonderful things about her. She was approachable, endlessly accommodating, organized, and the definition of a true professional, all while being so warm, kind, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She made the entire planning process feel effortless, and we always knew we were in the best hands. On our wedding day, Katherine, who was assigned to me and the bridal suite, was an absolute gift. She anticipated every need before I even realized I had one, kept everything running smoothly, and brought such a calming, joyful presence to the day. I felt so cared for from start to finish. Then there's the food... where do I even begin? It was truly on another level. Our guests are still talking about how incredible every single bite was. If you're looking for wedding food that people will rave about long after the day is over, this is it. Of course, our wedding came with one unexpected twist—we had to move everything indoors because of the Canadian wildfire smoke (something we never could have imagined!). But the team at The Eldridge Furnace Inn handled it so seamlessly that it honestly felt like it was always meant to be. They completely transformed the indoor space into something absolutely magical. And as if the day couldn't have been any more perfect, the smoke cleared just enough during cocktail hour for us to step outside and enjoy the breathtaking views the venue is known for. It was everything our hearts had dreamed of and so much more. You can truly feel how much every member of the staff cares. It was obvious that so many people worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure we had the best day of our lives, and we are forever grateful for every single one of them. If you're considering The Eldridge Furnace Inn for your wedding, don't hesitate. We would recommend them a thousand times over. This place will always hold such a special place in our hearts, and we already know we'll be back again and again to enjoy their restaurant—because seriously, the food is out of this world. The most special venue ️
Absolutely top notch, 5 star experience. From the day we toured the venue and met Naina we knew this was our place!! She has gone above and beyond for us the whole year of planning and working her magic for our big day. She is so organized and stayed on top of all of our important dates and moving pieces. She is the kindest soul and person and is exactly what a wedding coordinator should strive to be!!! We had guests at the end of the night and next day let us know that she was so helpful, a joy to be around and did an amazing job with our wedding. As for the venue we can not recommend them enough. Dan and Donna have created the most magical place. From the historic touches, to the delicious food (our guests said it was the best they had ever had at a wedding) and even getting to talk to both of them in person really made our time here so special. If we did it over again we would choose The Eldridge Furnace Inn 100x!!!! Everything included really sold us as well. No need to worry about catering or a wedding cake maker. They make everything inn house and it was all SCRUMPTIOUS. It is a beautiful venue inside and out. You won’t go wrong choosing it as your wedding venue for you big day ️ We got home late after our wedding and saw they even gave us the most special present It really meant a lot to us to receive it and get a handwritten card from them. They truly make you feel so cared for and are exactly how a wedding venue should be! ️

100% Recommend-- Fantastic Experience!
We truly don't have enough wonderful things to say about this venue. Naina and the team were so kind and easy to work with. Some highlights below: 1) Transparency-- all of the pricing is on their website, and they lock you into pricing the day you sign (even if pricing goes up later on, it won't affect you). No weird hidden fees-- everything is as stated on the brochure, so you can plan accordingly 2) You get a LOT for your money. We didn't realize as we were venue shopping that so many places charge an arm and a leg just for the space and the space alone. EFI is a full restaurant-- so no random charges for tables, plates, silverware, string lights, the beautiful floral chandelier etc. Likewise, they have their own set seasonal decor for the indoor space, you just have to add centerpieces if you want them, photos, etc. 3) The food is impeccable. Like I said, they're a restaurant, grow their own ingredients, and the chef takes so much pride in his work 4) Naina-- Naina is the venue coordinator who worked with us, and she was an absolute dream to work with! We don't have enough good things to say about her. Meetings/tastings were efficient, organized, and joyful, and she not only helped our wedding day come to life in terms of decor, flow, etc but also was very present and helpful day-of with working with our vendors and helping the flow of the day.

Beautiful & Great Coordinator!
The Elkridge Furnace Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we started planning, everything was set up for us - their communication was fantastic and they made the entire process as low-stress as possible. Naina is so professional and experienced, that I knew and trusted if she wasn’t worried about something I didn’t need to be either! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a historic and well-thought-out design that created such a lovely atmosphere for our special day. Please note that there are historic buildings on site that aren’t as visually beautiful but it’s important to recognize the history and honor that the site was part of the Underground Railroad. I do wish they highlighted the history more visibly. Additionally, The food was delicious, and the staff, especially Naina and Letu, were incredibly professional and kind throughout the entire event. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend the Elkridge Furnace Inn to any couple looking for a beautiful, memorable wedding venue.
