My interest in photography began at age 16 when my brother brought home a used Canon A1 from a pawn shop. My persistent attraction to the art of photography led me to the Savannah College of Art and Design where I received a BFA in Photography. I then ventured to Asheville, NC where I was surrounded by a creative community of artists and found a niche preserving timeless images of love-classics. Fast forward many years later, I now live in Washington D.C. which serves as my home base for my continuing adventures.

After graduating I worked as a portrait photographer and decided to pursue and earn my MFA in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
