Hi there! I’m Sharon! I am a long-time professional photographer, a former award-winning photojournalist, and an official photographer for the Canadian Embassy. I love photographing weddings and I provide beautiful, bold, and romantic images for my couples to treasure forever.

Candid moments, hugs and laughter are my specialty, but I can also take control when needed for family group shots and any other specific requests you may have. We had a great experience with Sharon as our wedding photographer. Sharon was kind, helpful, and joined in our excitement and happiness for our special day. Working with Sharon was such a pleasure for both of our events, and she had our photos ready in a matter of days. The photos were such high quality, and you can tell she really loves and cares about what she does. She brought along two separate second shooters (one to each event), who were also extremely professional and talented. I cannot say enough great things about our experience!!

My background is in photojournalism, so I'm always looking for those special candid moments and I stay low key as much as possible. However I do give you gentle direction when needed to get the best images, and I take charge when it's time for large group pictures.

I edit my pictures to have natural, bright, and beautiful true-to-life colors, which will stand the test of time. Please be sure to look at the many pictures on my website to see my editing style.

You will get hundreds of edited, high quality, high resolution, beautiful images with printing rights. You can expect about 70 to 100 images per hour of photographing. My goal is to get as many great pictures of your day as possible!

There will be a lot of communication between us before your wedding day. I am prompt at responding and I want us to get to know each other. I listen to your wants and needs. I enjoy hearing all the details and will work with you to plan out a timeline that allows for plenty of picture taking. I enjoy meeting couples for in-person consultations and if you've hired a wedding planner, I'd love to coordinate with them!

I am friendly and outgoing. I love to meet new people, and have fun while working hard. I stay cheerful and upbeat for the entire day, beginnng to end!

I love to bring an experienced second shooter. There are so many important moments and we want to make sure we get all of them on camera. A second photographer can get different angles and provide additional coverage. For large weddings, I also bring a non-shooting assistant to help the day go smoothly.
