Photography, for me, is all about people. And I LOVE people. As a documentary photographer, I pay attention to the connections among people at events and make images that show the emotion, the connection, and the meaning of the moments I capture. But more than just loving photography, I've photographed hundreds of weddings over the years I've been in business and am constantly told by my clients how helpful, knowledgeable, and calming I am in moments that are new to my clients. And with a Masters in Photojournalism, I'm not new to this.

Look around at the images that photographers make. The portfolio selections and the websites that photographers publish and put online should tell you a tremendous amount about what and how they photograph. My images are natural, candid, emotion-filled, and honest. I will arrange your family for some posed photos, but the moments that will mean the most to you CANNOT be created, they have to be captured as they happen for real. This is what I'm best at and what sets me apart from other photographers. If you want a photographer to make photographic creations, that's not me. If you want all the joy and emotion from your event, I'm ready.
